It was perfect for us! Very clean and such a nice staff.!

We were very pleased! Room was nice and clean, spotless actually. Bathroom and shower were very clean! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and well stocked.

There was nothing that we didn’t like about this hotel.

A pleasant experience overall We had no issues/needs but I knew if we did they would've been handled

I've worked 23 years in five star hotels and for me personally all I want when I arrive for check-in is a smiling face, great attitude and ability to answer the standard questions. Whether it's a Ritz or a Holiday Inn Express it comes down to the guest service and there shouldn't be any drop off. This was a very pleasant experience and my wife and I appreciate the quickness of the check in, the key working the first time..lol...and fast check out. Room was very clean which obviously is a very close second to guest service.

The only teeny tiny thing I could make a suggestion on is the room seemed a little musty when we arrived. Most of the time it's simply because dehumidifying is tough for every room and usually hinges on the weather. My suggestion would be to set the AC/Heat temp to 70. Usually if the AC is set too cold it puts a little more moisture in the room air.

The stay at Holiday Inn Express Kitty Hawk was comfortable and I would stay there again.

The room, although basic, was clean and the beds were comfortable. Likewise, the bathroom was clean and the shower was good. The hotel itself was easy to find and was located far enough from the main road to be quiet. The breakfast that was included was good.

Although the in-room air conditioner, a necessity at this location, worked well, it was very loud.

I won’t be back.

The location was perfect for what I wanted to do.

The fitted bed sheet was too small and came off at the corners during the night. I tried to fix it but it wasn’t a queen size sheet. The other bed was the same. I just removed it and slept on the mattress topper for the remaining two nights.

Best hotel I’ve stayed in, in a very long time.

This was the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in that I can remember. Staff were very friendly and informative. It was so clean, Mr Clean clean. 😊

Only thing is I wish they had another ice machine half way down the hall for the rooms at the end. That’s so minor compared to the rest of the hotel. Not really a complaint at all

A bit overpriced and bland for our tastes.

The short walk to the beach wasn't bad.

There's tiny cacti and Virginia Creeper vines & Poison ivy EVERYWHERE in the back!! Be careful walking your dogs or with small children!!

Good value for the amount paid. We enjoyed the privacy of the pool. We could see the beach from a distance from our room.

Needed insulation between rooms & hall. You could hear other televisions at night and staff talking in the mornings outside our room. The walk to the beach was lengthy for small children.

The room was very comfortable, clean and relaxing. The new mirrors are my favorite. The entire property was very clean, we enjoyed the pool very much. The staff was absolutely just the best. Informative, friendly and helpful. Thank you all we had a great stay.

The hot breakfast was nice. With small kids this is definitely a plus.

I wish there would have been better access to the beach. The description said beachfront, but we had to walk through a parking lot and an empty lot then cross the street twice to get there.

Brand new

The noise was ridiculous. Part of it is the hotel is poorly insulated between rooms. We could here EVERYTHING from the room over. The bigger issue was the lack of courtesy from other guests who do t understand the use of inside voices in a hotel. People, y’all need to go back to your parents and slap them for not teaching you any manners and etiquette in staying in a hotel!!!

Holiday Inn at Kitty Hawk was exceptionally clean, the staff was pleasant and helpful, and the location was convenient. We could walk to Hurricane Mo's, The Black Pelican, and the ocean within 2 blocks. We will stay there again.
