The cottage was wonderful. Definitely wish we had been able to stay more than one night. Quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Loved the screened in porch.
Everything was wonderful.

Kitchen and bath were nicely renovated. Cozy and comfortable. Easy to walk to breakfast at the dining hall and to the hiking trails. Easy to get over to the University. Good shops and restaurants in the area.
No curtains in the rooms and one room was like a converted sunroom so the blinds didn't do much to keep the sun out.

Friendly staff, beauty if the location
The outside porch could have been a little cleaner

the location is perfect cottages are so cute and well maintained. best part is the hiking trials are right there
this is completely my fault for not reading about the property better but my only complaint is there’s no tv. and I say that bc I have 2 small children and sometimes you just need a tv for them.

The dining hall is superb for everything from breakfast to evening cocktails. Walk to trails right from the cabin door. And the campus is imbued with history.

I love Chautauqua Cottages. The location is beautiful. I love having more space than typical hotel room and a kitchen.
Nothing I didn’t like.

It was the most stunning location, super clean and affordable. It was great having such a nice kitchen to cook our own meals in. The staff were also great!
3 of our windows had broken locks which made us a little nervous. The wifi is also as bad as everyone says, but that’s okay because you should be outside anyway!

the site; the decor in the cabins-perfect; friendly, helpful staff; cheery Christmas decorations on the grounds.

Location of the property, cafe and restaurant were lovely with great food and service.
Understand the need to unplug but stringer WiFi would be helpful to allow some work / pleasure balance for a longer stay.

Cosy cottage in a perfect location.
Still had dust and dirt under the bed / couch / kitchen shelves.

Everything. The location was perfect. Such lovely autumn colours while we were there and so peaceful and relaxing.
The cottage itself had everything we needed and more. beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, good storage and a great verandah for relaxing in.
We loved the general store and the great restaurant and bar.
nothing. we loved it all

Incredible location, very friendly and helpful staff, lovely environment all around.

First, understand that the rental cottages are rustic, the floors are uneven, and the studio ones are small. But they have been beautifully and tastefully updated and the bedding and amenities were top quality. The location can’t be beat. Plan your stay around the big concerts; we were there at a quiet time. The meals in the dining hall were excellent. The only criticism was that there was no option for an early morning cooked breakfast.
Brunch didn’t start until 10 am

Didn’t have breakfast there. Dinner was great. Dining on the open porch was very relaxing and the wait staff was excellent.

Wonderful value, exceptional hospitality and service. LOVED it.
extra bedding/linens for pullout couch were sub par and the bull out bed was terrible.

Great cozy cottage, with a fantastic location near the Boulder Flatirons and its trails, and still close enough to Boulder with its restaurants. We loved the Dining Hotel, and the entire atmosphere.
The only drawback was the non-functioning wifi in the cottage.
