A welcoming Inn

The Inn is convenient to the hustle and bustle of downtown Arbor Glen. Everything the town offers is within walking distance. The staff is wonderful and the breakfasts, superb. The Inn has a pleasing sense of history, without being fussy. We were on the 2nd floor, with three other rooms and two shared bathrooms. Our room was smallish - just fine for us - and the bathrooms were always clean and well tended. The wrap-around porch is a welcoming place for breakfast and conversation; a shared frig is available for chilling road food. Shawn, the Innkeeper, readily provided tableware and cutlery for our take-out supper and asked us to leave them in the sink for washing. An unexpected pleasure! Michele, the other staff we met, is friendly and fun to talk with. She's been with the Inn for 13 years - a very good sign!.

The Inn is on a busy road and in a heavily touristed town. That's a plus for families but not ideal for a couple seeking quiet time. There is a lot to explore in this beautiful part of upper Michigan. We'd like to feturn but would choose a quieter, more remote location.

The staff was very welcoming and texting check in and out was very convenient. The location is great, walking distance to the nearest restaurants and shops. The room was clean.

The rooms are outdated and need renovations. You can hear your neighbors in the next door room and when you walk the floor makes loud squeaking noises. But if you want something affordable this is a good choice.

Cozy, charming, friendly staff, good breakfast, comfy bed and good location. Friendly atmosphere made chatting with other guests easy and enjoyable.

Small room size and limited to no place to store stuff. Small shelves in the room and bathroom for toiletries would b e a big plus. Also a place to sit and write a postcard would be nice.

Very nice B&B, would highly recommend!

Breakfast was excellent! Very quiet room, and clean and comfortable bed.

No bath mat in tub/shower or floor rug/towel. I wasn’t aware there weren’t any TVs. But this wouldn’t stop us from staying again.

Great visit to Glen Arbor

The owners/ hosts were great! They were very accommodating, friendly, and full of great advise regarding the area. The Location is excellent, easy walk to the restaurants and shops in Glen Arbor, and a short drive to the local sites. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was eggcelent! We would definitely stay here again!

The lighting in the bathroom needs improving...especially for makeup application...needs another wastebasket and another nightlight...the water tasted and smelled like bad well water...

Exceptional

Extremely kind staff and community. Easily the best hotel/inn/Airbnb that we have stayed. Food was great, location was as good as it gets. Already suggested to friends and family.

The only negative was we stayed in a solo room and the bathroom was outside of the room so showering was slightly weird. Old historic building so I understand it.
