It was dirty, disgusting and old
Everything
2.8
Soft beds
Outdoor lighting were too bright and the pool and restaurant were not available.
2.8
It served it's purpose. The view from the room was really nice.
Sadly, if a good investor were to invest some money into upgrading, promotion, opening the restaurant, pool, etc, it would be a really great place.
2.8
Comfortable room. Inside was clean. Nice view of bay. It was peaceful.
Restaurant was closed; they can't find workers. Property lacks outside maintenance. Shower lacked water pressure, rinsing was a challenge.
2.8
The view that's it!!
Everything. They messed up on our rooms and put us into a different room. Then they messed up and didn't realize that they put us in the other room and had the worker walk into our room while we were in there. Also there was no swimming pool or hot tub access. Poor service all the way around. Never going here again

The restaurant was closed the pool was closed the Jacuzzi was closed everything was closed there were holes in the walls it piss Poor
There was no maintenance done to this property the pool had bugs in green in it, It looked like it was the Bates motel out of the movie it was horrible

The staff was lovely.
The renovations were not complete in the first room we were given, but the second room was what we wanted.

Fireworks were great and the property gathering area was great had fun
2.8
the view of the bridge
The property was weathered. They were broken windows screens were torn. The siding was off the building. It look disgusting trash was blowing around the whole property. Their fence around the property was knocked down. They did post signs of vandalism, however, had failed to address any of the issues.
2.8
it’s was fast and efficient if you need somewhere to stay
trash all outside the “view” areas

Please see my complaint files with the resolution department
Entire facility needs to be cleaned.... dishonest staff

No coffee or donuts like promised and no lights in the parking lot at night. No tv.

Check in was quick and east. Able to park near entrance.
Room at the end of the hall so quiet but I think not many overnight visitors d/t season.
Could have more Pacific Northwest art on the walls.

It was closest in location to my father in law's house than any other establishment. Since he was dying on hospice the convince of being close was of most importance. The view from the opposite side of the hotel from where we were staying was beautiful.
LITERALLY EVERYTHING ELSE. This place was the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. I work in hospitality and check rooms for cleanliness on a daily basis. I would be embarrassed to call this my hotel. Allow me to list a few things, they use old stained fitted sheets as bedskirts, and the sheets on the beds are clearly stained. The baseboard heater gets hot enough to burn your skin, but won't warm the room (god forbid somone accidentally kicks a pillow onto it in the middle of the night- probably burn the place down). The towels are not big enough to wrap around any adult, frayed, stained and mismatched. No conditioner or lotion- just "conditioning shampoo" that left my hair feeling like straw. The coffee maker in room was not cleaned from previous use, they claimed to have breakfast, attendant even said they would have doughnuts- nothing at all, and the lobby coffee station was so dirty I couldn't bring myself to have a cup of that. There is a sketchy Escalade parked out front that doesn't move- and has a flat tire. No other vehicles were seen in the lot over our 3 night/4 day trip. No attendant at the desk the entirety of our stay, we had to call the front desk to check in. Hallways had junk all over them, feathers, xmas decoration boxes were just sitting in the lobby for days, literal just trash everywhere. Why are you decorating for Christmas when your rooms are still dirty? It's clear that the employees of this place don't give a rats about it, which is sad because the location is beautiful. I could go on- but needless to say I will never stay at this establishment again.

This was our second stay at Alsi. It is an aging hotel whose glory days are over, but it is still very comfortable and a good value in the Waldport area. Beds are some of the most comfortable we have ever slept on regardless of price. Drive over the bridge to town is very convenient. Bay location and view is beautiful.
No complaints!

At the end of a long road trip this was a very nice, peaceful place to spend our last night. Nothing but positive thoughts.

There isn't anything to like.
The entire property was dirty and just not taken care of- there is a smell immediately upon walking in. In general it's out dated, which it's the coast, so we thought, out dated we can do but we were put in a dirty room. When we went to the front desk, they offered another room but we asked if we could have a refund instead and we were told no problem, the only catch was they would have to process it on Monday. I called on Tuesday when I didn't hear from them, told they'd call me back. No call came. Called the next day (3x) hung up on twice, finally spoke to someone who said that the person I needed to talk to was gone till the next day (Tamera) so I called the next day - that's when I was told she would be on vacation until Wed of the next week. They had no intention of helping me, kept giving me the run around, and when I asked to speak with someone else was told - nope. Either we take your name and number or nothing. When I said if we can't get this resolved quickly that I would look at calling the BBB and disputing the charges with my credit card company - they told me they would point to the paper I signed and make me pay. And promptly hung up on me. They are unprofessional at best. There is no way I would suggest anyone deal with them in any way and I'm disappointed that places like booking.com would keep them as a listing based on how they treat people.

The desk attendant tried to find a room clean enough for us to stay in. She gave us an $8 discount for AARP and a refund for $20 to show in our credit account in a few days.
I can't make this up. This was our experience. The price was over double the booking price. The desk person claimed that "Expedia" was undercharging people. 7pm at night there were few options, we chose to stay and canceled the 2nd night. The 1st room had a filthy toliet seat, thin crinkled sheets, and dirty carpet. I requested the Front Desk person come and look. She agreed that it was not acceptable. We looked at 3 more rooms, including one toliet that had diarrhea all over it, one without working lightbulbs in the main light, one with plastic blinds in need of replacement, twisted up in one corner. We took one that only had deteriorating lamp shades.. When we tried to turn on the TV, it didn't work. I called the desk, and said, "I am not trying to be a pain in the butt, but our TV doesn't work." Again, we were shown 3 more rooms. We stayed in 266 the room that seemed to be the cleanest and in working order. When we turned the light on over the table, my electrician husband, noticed that it was connected with an extension cord looped over the light fixture. The refrigerator was also connected to this set up. The phone and bed light connections were also wired with extension cords. The floor heater was too close to the bed and curtains, a clear electrical building code violation. When we pulled back the sheets and layed down, my husband said, "You are not going to believe this." He pointed to a cud of old gum stuck to the table between the bed at eye level. At this point, we got up, took pictures of all the one star issues in this room, determined to make it through the night and leave asap in the morning. Oh, one last thing. I think I figured out why this motel was so dirty. There was a sign over the bathroom sink, threatening a $250. fine for anyone cleaning fish or anything else. In the light of day, we could see that the halls, lobby and whole motel was sadly in need of a thorough cleaning.

No breakfast
Television stations were very limited

Location
Room was not clean. Toilet was dirty, with brown stuff on inside bowl. Bedsheets had stains. Leftover food from previous guest was left in the refrigerator. They changed us to another room. Second room was also not good. Refrigerator had a fish smell. Bathroom floor was sticky. Bedsheets also stained. Coffee maker still had the coffee pouch used by the pervious guest.

The location was nice and so was the room.
The person at front wasn't at the front desk most of the time, you had to use the phone to get a hold of someone because they weren't at the desk.

The room we had although older, was spotless. But the best thing going for this hotel is the manager and her husband, and restaurant staff! Our second night we lost our wallet and keys on the beach, it was my daughter’s birthday and I couldn’t go pick up her bday cake so the manager asked where the cake was made, picked it up and paid for it herself…I was blown away by her kindness, you don’t see that anymore. My elderly father was staying with us, her and her husband carried all of our luggage to the room without us asking, they just saw him struggling. The salmon in the restaurant was awesome, our server was friendly. I was nervous to stay here after reading the bad reviews but the longer we were here and witnessed people verbally abusing the staff and trying to get discounts, it made more sense why they gave bad reviews. People don’t get their way and seem to take it out on the hotel staff and it’s a shame! We will definitely be back!!

There wasn't any breakfast the pool and restaurant were both shut down when we arrived and went to the room it hadn't been cleaned and the toilet was lose and shower head barely put any water out and the room was still gross after they supposedly cleaned it the second time.
2.8
location, employees were nice.
well there was no soap not even to wash hands.
there was sweetener and pot to brew coffee but no
coffee, the carpet was wet in the middle of the
beds, found floss on the floor at end of bed.

It is was close to the bay staff was very helpful they did get new owners so there is a lot of upgrades happening so the restaurant was down as well as getting new employees and getting them trained but hey thing happen and you have to start somewhere we had issue with then mini fridge but they got it replaced right away I was nervous after seeing reviews since I booked short noticed but over all I didn't have an issue with them I can't wait to see when the upgrades happen Im even planning on stay again when we come back next year it's close to crabbing and hubby and boys like to go out real early so it's very convenient and it's very quite but family friendly they have along way to go but the potential is there good luck to you guys and will see you next year
Price was a little high for it being outdated and there restaurant down also breakfast was a cold banana so it should be updated but like I said I did understand they have alot going on the place can really be amazing just they have alot of work ahead of them

It was near the water and the rooms were decent.
The free wifi didn't work and the restaurant/lounge was closed due to renovation which wasn't mentioned on their website.

location is pretty good
very poor quality shower, water went form scalding hot very quuickly
no support from staff after checkin. asked for towels multiple times
pool looked green
very disappointed in this stay.

The location, all though was off the beaten path, had a great view of the bridge and river!
We were quoted, no payment until checkin. This motel hit my card within a day or two. Then upon my return and review of my bank statement, they have charged me additional charges. I called and all I got was the run around about they did not charge me tax. So the quote through Booking.com is totally in accurate!! Or is someone stealing from me????
The grounds are dirty, the garbage cans are over flowing, no breakfast. Its noisy in the morning as people are going fishing at oh my god it early time! Signs on the mirror asking the people not to clean their fish in the sinks. No screens on the windows! The halls and floors are very dirty! There is moss growing on the exterior stairways! The windows are so dirty you can not see into the parking lot! This place is old and run down, but by the time they quote you a rate, and then bait and switch, you could have stayed in town for the same price at a much better property!! BEWARE!!
