Cute hotel and clean room.
The only disappointment was there was no hair dryer in the room. I did not pack one as they are always provided at hotels…

I had called ahead to verify the reservation and late check-in but was not able to check in upon arrival. No one was there or answering the phone, nor were any instructions posted. My call wasn't returned until the next afternoon and they said instructions had been sent to my email. I never received anything except confirmation and receipt. Basically, blaming me but they were unable to forward any proof they had sent it to my email. I was told no refund and to talk to booking.com because it wasn't the hotel's fault I didn't get the email.
But it was the fault of the employee I spoke to that did not give any instructions for late check in when I called and asked if it made any difference what time we checked in.

Thought I was paying for the room with kitchen area. Got the microwave and counter. Did I miss something in description? Some electric outlets at the pavilion were inoperative.

We liked the fire ring and enjoying the evening.
Next time we will request the bottom floor.

Great location very nice clean room
No onsite check in. Booked on booking.com late afternoon. Arrived at the property about an hour later to discover there is no one available. Called the numbers no answer. Finally got a return call after we had left the property and was looking for another room. Got into the room but this is not the way to run a business!

Very clean, comfortable, and friendly.

The room was spacious, clean and warm. It would have been helpful to have some sort of snow tray or a place to wipe icy, snowy boots at the front door of the room. The flooring is some sort of wood laminate and is not supposed to get wet.
Never in my life have I had a more upsetting check in. We arrived at 6:45 pm and there was nobody on property to check us in. Normal check in times stated between 4-8pm on the website. I called and texted all 3 phone numbers posted on the window before finally reaching someone. 15 minutes. I spent another 30 minutes on the phone with a person who worked there as he tried to help us get into our room via electronic codes. The codes were incorrect and would not unlock any of the rooms. He gave me instructions as to how to get into the office and find an actual key to a different room. We had to drive across the property to gain access to these keys. This key did not work either. My husband finally figured out the code to get into our original room. It was freezing cold and the grounds were icy and slippery and it was quite a challenge to have to trek across the property several times to simply try to gain access to our room, or at that point, any room that would unlock. He had us try 4 different room with different incorrect codes. We were exhausted after driving all day to our destination. I do not know how this would have worked out at all if either one of us were handicapped or had special needs. I simply will never understand why they didn’t have our key in the late check in box as they saw our reservation around noon. No apology. Instead I had to text proof that we paid for the room in full. Do not arrive hungry or thirsty. The property is in the middle of nowhere and the coffee shop was closed that night. This was understandable, as it was Christmas night. It was not open the following morning either. There was literally nobody there at all.

I arrived very late and planned to sleep in but there were no curtains on back window, so I woke up when the sun came up.

Very cozy
The toilet in unit 15 ran all night.

Everything was good, I know its end of season in the off time could use some Maintenance ie bathroom exhaust fan needs fixed, and other small things.[room 11] Would be handy for a sit down chair in rooms, hard to put shoes on setting on the bed. We have been there several times and will be back to stay :] The staff as always are great!!

TV didn't work.

Food was very expensive. For two biscuit and gravy breakfasts and two coffees was like 23 dollars. I would have driven to a dairy queen and paid way less than that.
It was peaceful for the most part. Neighbors where a little loud.

It was the cleanest motel we have ever stayed in.
Nothing. It was great!

The access to Lake Cumberland was very good.
Hotel facilities (pool, BBQ, basketball court) are great.
Breakfast is not free and not worth the money. Very small sandwich!
Internet connection is incredibly slow in spite of connecting to Hotel wifi.

I liked the rooms and the area.
I didn't like that I paid for a kitchen and spent $40.00 on bacon, sausage, eggs and got in the room and discovered a sign that said, "NO FRYING". We love to cook breakfast,.away from home. All wasted. The kitchen was one main reason I picked this place.

Didn’t need to try it..
Would be nice for a couple of chairs or a little love seat. Just had to sit on bed or kitchen chairs.
Toilet could be updated to a tall potty. Little ones are Outdated . Shower could be updated also. Trouble with hot & cold water adjusting.
