Lovely place for a vacation!

The ambiance and decor are amazing. The rustic feel is authentic. Our room for our needs, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The room size was just right for us. They were able to accommodate our request for a ground floor room as we have young hyperactive kids and we didn't want to impose on other guests with their kids noises and stumping feet had we been on the second floor or higher. The reception staff are amazing as well. They checked us in smoothly. They went above and beyond to give us a military discount. They made sure we were taken care of. We want to give a shout out to Brittany, John and their GM Cassie (who even mailed me the receipt for the discount!). They set a high bar for those who work in this industry! The breakfast had a great selection, we were stuffed. They had a nice breakfast set up. Extra tables and chairs were in the lobby should they be needed. But they did not detract from the decor, they were tucked in corners-very cozy. It was walking distance to the sights and places to see in their town. The town itself had a lot to offer. The hotel also let us leave out car, after we checked out already so we could ride the sightseeing train up and down the next town over. They had many amenities as well. We didn't have the time to take Ananya of all of them but the gas an indoor pool and jacuzzi, laundry facilities, vending machines, and others. The staff are there if you need anything at all and they make sure you have what you need right away. What more could you ask for? This hotel is amazing. I'm glad we picked this place!

Convenient location if you want to visit Mount Rushmore.

Room was quite dark. I didn't like the paper plates and plastic cutlery fir breakfast.

Upon check in, found the room not clean. The bathroom was disgusting [toilet was full of feces and urine] Didn’t appear the room had been cleaned in days.

Nice place to stay in the Black Hills

Friendly Staff Good selection of breakfast items. Love the decor. Very clean. Bed was comfy. Nice hot tub and pool. Love the biscuits and gravy.

I would have given it a ten, but I deducted a couple of points for the rubbery eggs and ham this morning.

Great area for washing clothes! Great recommendation for a nice restaurant—Powder House. Front desk was fabulous! Great location!

It was a good stay for the most part.

Breakfast was good served hot and more than enough choices. Parking could use some improvement although there is not very much space to add to what there is already.

There's nowhere to get food except the vending machines

Good place for a few nights while visiting Mount Rushmore and Custer State Park

The facilities are very clean. My room was relatively large. The bathroom was nice and clean. The location is only a few miles from Mount Rushmore.

Breakfast was just okay.

Loved our stay at the Comfort Inn.

We totally enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn. Love the great hot breakfast each morning. The facility was so clean. Will definitely recommend & stay at this Comfort Inn again.

Functional and great location. Very little finesse unfortunately.

Close to old town Keystone.

Reception staff weren’t particularly interested in our arrival and seemed preoccupied with other matters. The breakfast was unfortunately below par and the use of paper plates and low-budget plastic cutlery an unpleasant start to the day.

Great stay!

Breakfast was great! Location was perfect! The bed was exceptional! My husband & I had planned to watch a movie after our shower. When we plopped down into bed, that was it! I turned the tv off because that bed was the best we've had yet & we've been to many hotels for conferences & personal travel, so that was a nice change.

You could hear the train outside, which is to be expected. However, we take a fan on every trip, so it helps drown out the outside noise.

Great hotel in a great small town!

I loved the location of the hotel because it was within walking distance of everything the town had to offer. The breakfast provided a variety of choices and the food I chose was good.

Location, location, location

it was a comfortable big room. Walkable to the boardwalk and services. It is literally 2 miles from Mt Rushmore.

The price was a bit steep but you are paying for location. Breakfast was just ok.
