Das Appartment war schön, aber die Lage nicht!

Das Appartment war sehr schön eingerichtet, im Vintage Stil und hatte schöne Decken- und Wandbemalungen. Kaffee + Tee stand zur Verfügung. Die Küche war gut eingerichtet. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, auch die weiche Bettdecke hat uns gefallen.

Das Appartment roch etwas alt und lag an einer belebten und sehr lauten Strasse. Die Fenster und Tür war/en schlecht abgedichtet, daher haben wir von draußen alles gehört. Zudem gab es nur ein schlechtes bzw. gar kein Wlan Empfang.

We had a great time and loved the inside. So quaint and cozy. The outside not so much.

No breakfast was served. Very quaint place and nicely located.

The outside deck really need a lot of work.

It was a quaint apartment. Very clean

I thought I rented a cottage not an upstairs 2 bedroom apartment. I did not see the $50 cleaning fee at booking. Didn't see it until after. I was not happy $50 was way too much.

The unit worked for what we needed.

This place was in a great location and the space was a nice size.

There was a very strong musty/mildewed smell and some of the items were broken. The place could use a deep cleaning and a dehumidifier.

Hidden Gem in sanford

Very nice chic, quaint older place. Interiors are all different but tasefully done. We love being able to take time off to visit Sanfird and stay here. Really is a unique little place. Can't wait for next time.

Not much except when it rains stairs a bit slippery and the center Courtyard holds water.

Cute, historic property walking distance to downtown Sanford.

conveniently located to downtown Stanford, walking distance. Had all basic amenities needed for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable! washer/dryer were convenient, included soap. new dishwasher. Padlocks to get into your portion of the house.

The bed was great but their were a few chairs that appeared that they needed new cushions and were flat. Overall the place was clean but there were a few dusty areas on the floors, baseboards, and on side tables. the coffee pot in the kitchen wasn’t cleaned when we arrived & a few utensils in the drawer did not appear to be clean. The door entering the property slammed shut, needed some sort of hinge to help with that. it’s advertised as a bed and breakfast on the sign when you enter, but doesn’t operate as such. if it did. that would be a huge plus!

If you are the type who makes the best of any situation this will do OK.

Location and colonial feel of property. We stayed in Ivy Cottage which had plenty of space. The lounge and bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable.

Whole exterior including gardens and covered walkways, including patio areas, have been neglected. Needs a major pressure washing to clean down these areas and some basic gardening. Ivy Cottage bathroom and kitchen area in dire need of remodelling. Kitchen cooker very, very old and dirty. Needs replacing. Shower head was that dirty I had to give deep clean before being able to use.

Dirty and not well maintained

It was a keyless entry.

First, when we booked the place, the reservation said for the whole house. Then after we made the reservation, when we were getting the final information for our departure, in the very fine print on the third page of the reservation, it said you only get the whole house if you have 8 people. When we got the temperature was 55 degrees, as the night before the temperature had been below 40 degrees. The heat was not on and it took over 12 hours to get the temperature above 65 degrees. The place was not clean. The makeshift bathroom had a door right to the outside, and we could never get it warm. The bathroom sink and bathtub were both clogged and did not drain properly. The dishes and pots and pans were dirty, and we had to thoroughly clean them to use them. Just a totally disappointing experience. Additionally, there was an outside grill shown in the pics, and we verified with the host that it worked. But, it was so filthy I would not even put aluminum foil on it to use, as it did not look like it had been cleaned in at least 2-3 years.

Very cute spot in an area that was not sure what to expect as a little off beaten path. Clean with all of the basics you need to feel.at home. Will definitely stay again if visit area again. Highly recommend. Thank you!

Best Sanford getaway.

Very nice eclectic inn. Cool combination of styles and decor on each room. Fully equipped. We try and stay there every time we come to Sanford for music shows.

Steps a bit slippery but is and older classic place. Can't really say any thing bad about it.

good location, lots of work to be done!!

our rooms were very comfortable and nice, although our balcony was filled with dirty water and leaves! The railing was unsafe and had mildew on it.. could have been a nice place to sit out..😆

the grounds were very unkept, a work in progress I’m sure.. lots of potential! dust bunnies under the beds, dirty socks ( not ours) behind bathroom door. although our rooms were basically clean and nicely decorated! not a bed and breakfast as advertised, need to change the sign too..!
