A magical stay in the historic city of Vicksburg

The furnishings/decor & history - comfort - Andrew’s welcome into the home- delicious breakfast accompanied with Andrew’s recounting of the house’s history

Perfect and met all of my expectations.

The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Answered all of my many questions. Provided reading material related to the area. Had excellent suggestions for restaurants and historical sites to see.

The only thing I didn’t like was the rainy, overcast weather. Of course that was out of their control.

Great location, room and host!

Great location, super clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed visiting with Andrew and learning the backstory of the Bazsinsky house and Vicksburg history. Easy parking.

The Bazsinsky House was interesting and comfortable.

Our host was delightful. He gave us a tour of the house and spent time at breakfast telling us about the history of the house. The house was eclectic, full of interesting items that the owners had collected over many years of renovating homes and traveling. We enjoyed our short stay in Vicksburg and the comfort of the Bazsinsky House.

Beautiful, historic house offering very comfortable stay

Wonderful, historic house. Lovely views from my room to the river. Huge room, very comfortable bed. Short walk to restaurants and bars in town centre. Free street parking right outside. Very knowledgeable owner.

It’s worth visiting Vicksburg just to stay at this magnificent bnb.

The furnishings are exquisite, the location convenient,the bed incredibly comfortable and Andrew was a wonderful host. We enjoyed hearing him recount the history of the house and how they restored it, saving this beautiful structure from being dismantled.

Beautiful and comfortable historic home with a charming host

It’s a beautiful house that is very comfortably furnished. Each room houses an interesting collection of art, books, and other pieces that are fun to look at as you explore. The location is an easy walk to downtown and we had a nice view of the sunset from our room. Andrew is a welcoming and charming host with great storytelling about the house and area. We would love to stay again next time our travels bring us back through Vicksburg!

Overnight in Vicksburg

The house is amazing and so full of history. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was beyond delightful. Our host recommended a couplecrestsurants for dinner. We enjoyed the one on a building rooftop overlooking the rivers at sunset. All within walking distance.

A highlight of our trip in the South.

Phenomenal….For my 1st experience with a bed and breakfast, I couldn’t have enjoyed it more!

The breakfast was fantastic. I enjoyed the meal, but also the fellowship! I would definitely recommend the stay.

Our little getaway to Historic Vicksburg was more than we could have hoped for.

The stunning home inside and out took our breath away as we toured each room. Our room , and the view from the gorgeous windows, felt like we were transported back in time. The extra touches , mints , passport books and brochures were lovely. Andrew was amazing with his warmth and knowledge. We felt truly at home. Everything was in walking distance. Our breakfast each morning was perfection with thoughtfulness. Andrew and his lovely Bazsinsky home made our first trip to Vicksburg one of a lifetime. Thank you!

Not really sure what to say here. We had one lovely experience after another. Room was stocked well with everything we could need an more. It's privacy yet accessibility to the house amenities was sensational. Views of the Mighty Mississippi and surrounding attractions were majestic.

Great location, wonderful host, cozy and comfortable room with lots of space.

The location was perfect and an easy walk to the downtown, restaurants, the river and murals, etc. The breakfast was outstanding! Andrew was a wonderful host - very knowledgeable and helpful. It was a wonderful place to stay.

The best bnb ever!!!

Everything was simply perfect!! The bed was the most comfortable, the attention to detail was amazing with our room, It was beautifully decorated , had ceiling fan and box fan, jacuzzi, Keurig machine with great coffee choices, and so clean! The host was intelligent and provided great details on history of home and town and the best breakfast I've ever been served! I didn't even want to tell others how great it is because I'm worried it will be too booked up the next time I want to stay!

Truly different experience well worth it to experience southern hospitality in a historical setting

Breakfast was excellent, fresh and adequate. Location was great within walking distance of the town, plenty of parking. The house is amazing full of antiques and interesting items. Eclectic mix of paintings everywhere. Host was very informative we could have stayed longer, had an interesting chat not just about the history of the house but all kinds of subjects relating to our two countries. Plenty of literature in the room, coffee, water, chocolates. Met Clementine the dog who was a sweetheart very placid and did not intrude on our stay at all, we asked to meet her.

Absolutely nothing would love to stay again, when we had more time.

Like being at home the moment we stepped into the property!

My wife and myself knew beforehand that the Bazsinsky B&B was centrally located in Vicksburg. What we did NOT know was how quiet the location would be. The building was beautifully decorated with antique furniture and art work. An elevator to our spacious room helped with our luggage. BUT what was most special was the conversions with our host (Andrew) on arrival and over his excellent breakfasts. We both learnt so much about the town of Vicksburg and the history of the Bazsinsky house itself. So much different from any hotel!

Absolutely fantastic stay at this beautifully restored historic house! The room was wonderfully decorated and was like staying in a chapter of history, and the Host was incredibly kind and helpful, giving a history of the house over a delicious breakfast! Highly recommend! :-)
