great view out the back and a nice little porch to relax and watch the water.
parking was a little precarious.

Great location and beautiful clean rooms!

Waking to coffee and a view of the water and dock, exceptional. I strongly recommend this site for couples, retirees, or individuals who want an exclusive experience. The shops and restaurants were excellent, coffee specialty store as well. Great sense of privacy, yet able to merge with the community within two minutes.
Parking is tight, but the site is highly worth a turn or two.

Nice little walk to a yummy breakfast! Coffee and snacks provided and appreciated! Loved waking up to the water view!
Parking unclear at first.

The property was beautifully updated, with a lovely view of the harbor. We enjoyed watching the sunset in the cozy chairs next to the fireplace.
The parking was a challenge--the spots in front of the hotel were a tight squeeze, so we parked down the steep driveway. A friendly staff member had to help us pull out when we were leaving because the car was skidding.

This was our second stay at this amazing gem. The owners have been busy remodeling, and the new features are exceptional! We loved the new bar counter/computer desk with mini fridge, a Keurig coffee maker with many options, and wine glasses. The bathrooms are now a lovely, warm modern style with a slight old world flair. Walk-in shower, mirror lighting, and tile floor that's neither cold nor slippery. Even the shared space has been remodeled, with the same hardwood type flooring and marble counter tops as the room and bathroom. There were just a few finishing touches still missing, but I had a very nice text conversation with the owners after our stay about those and other ideas. We can't wait until our next stay!
Just a few little touches needed attention, but the owners are all over it.

Shower door misfit. Water all over floor.
Legs on bed caused us to stub toes .
Great coffee etc. Very nice view.
Need soap dish in shower
Layout, parking difficult for seniors.

Quietness and location
Parking was impossible and gas fireplace did not work

Loved everything about the place the deck going out over the water was amazing. And going out on the kayaks war great fun. And then town was lots of fun.
Nothing.

I loved the charm of the room and the house itself. The dock is an amazing space to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather.
The parking is very iffy. We went to a concert and got back late at night. When we arrived every parking spot was taken and we ended up having to park about a half mile away and walk back in the dark at midnight.

Killer view. Good beds. Walking distance to dinner and shops. It was very comfortable.
There weren't any dislikes. I didn't read the reviews before I went and glad I didn't. Some were negative and so crazy. I didn't find any of the issues some of the reviews stated.

how close it was to the water.

The views are amazing and its so cute and cozy.
What's not to like?
4.5
Great opportunity to view the harbor from the room (we were in the middle room on the bottom level) by opening the double doors. Large and spacious bathroom. Easy access to common area with coffee, refrigerator and snacks.
Driveway was a little steep. When the room got stuffy at night we could turn on the noisy air unit or open the double door access to the unit, no other windows.

Beautiful view!
Parking was tricky but the owners helped out.
3.5
View of the harbor was great!
Awkward parking, Dim besides lights. Lack of contact with any staff. Ownership has recently changed and some of the outside restaurant benefits were no longer available.

kayaks! view! easy Checkin! close by restaurants..... all was wonderful!!
nothing.
4.5
View, amenities
Noise from both ice machine and refrigerator.

Amazing bed
Loved the deck and offered kayaks
Loved the good lighting in the bathroom for makeup application!
Room cooled off upon arrival
Chocolates were melted…
Tub drain was clogged, stood to shower in ankle deep water😳
Air conditioner aimed at bed, uncomfortable when trying to sleep…room needs more windows… cross breeze/ventilation.
3.5
Beautiful view and very peaceful
I had to take the batteries out of the fan controller cause the fan would randomly turn up by itself. The bath tub wouldn't drain very well when taking a shower and would fill up. The parking down by the garage was tricky with a lowered high performance car (the other parking was taken)

location
difficult to access the dock and early write up notes a hot tub. parking was sometimes tricky.

Every aspect of our stay was incredible other than the intimate noise on Saturday night that we could have done without.
How does one answer that question - you don't? The lack of insulation in the walls would have helped.
Lack of wall insulation would be our only negative comment. Guests are inconsiderate and how the e overall space was designed impacted our stay too. Some things would be better not heard. and better insulation would have helped a lot.
The space is an easy 10 if the noise could be better controlled and why I only gave our stay a 4.
