The beds were very comfortable and the rooms work well if you have kids or multiple guests. The rooms are decorated nicely. The tables in the too
Added a nice touch.
The doors aren’t very secure and you can smell cooking coming from the restaurant or other rooms.

We stayed in the newly renovated Madam's Room, and it was not only huge but so well done with a mix of old and new. Plus, all the modern amenities we hoped for!
We met one of the owners as we checked out, and she was so knowledgeable about the building and the town. Super friendly staff as well!
Note: The "lobby" photo is the sitting area of the room. The "bathroom" photo is the tub outside the actual bathroom. The bathroom has a large waterfall shower, toilet, and sink. No hairdryer was available, so bring one if you need it!
The only thing of note is that there is not an elevator (that I'm aware of), so you'll have to carry your luggage up the stairs if you're not on the first floor.

Our room was SO NICE!! Very clean, spacious, great interior. The hotel staff were very lovely and helpful. The location is great right in the middle of town and walkable to everything. I would definitely stay here again.
An elevator would have been great - we had heavy luggage to carry up flights of stairs.

Funky town and the cutest Accomodations. Clean, comfortable and spacious. Beds and bedding awesome. The folks were very helpful and friendly. Easy, free, safe parking for our truck and trailer with bikes. Breakfast at the restaurant was excellent. Veggie eggs Benedict and Huckleberry pancakes were super!

The staff was amazing as well as the accommodations. Our first visit to Wallace and we had a great time. The breakfast at your restaurant was my favorite on the trip across the country so far!!!
It wasn’t a huge problem but the room got a little stuffy and warm for when we were sleeping.

clean comfortable room with plenty of beds for our family of 4
definitely needs a remodel on the parts that haven’t been updated - needs working heat in all the rooms (not space heaters)

historic older building with some character. lounge/bar downstairs for lunch and breakfast and and old salon! it seems some people may rent apartments on more permanent basis and some are travelers?
smells a little musty however it is very clean. just the way older buildings smell.

Location was perfect, not all the beds were the same, we had 3 but ours was the most comfortable. The restaurant has great breakfast.
The toilet seat was broken. The bathroom fan didn't work. On the 3rd floor and no elevator.

Location.... not that you can really have a bad location in a town the size of a postage stamp. But as locations go its hard to beat. Its old and classically fun. Yes, they could drop a few $M on a real reno but they won't. But for what the hotel is and how old it is its fun... its an adventure... Hyatt's are boring anyways ;-) I actually found the rooms to very comfortable and clean. Yes, they have done a lipstick on a pig reno but they didi a good job of it. I actually liked it.
So the one issue I had what the piece of plexiglass that sorta sealed the window around the window air conditioner unit. One the ground floor my wife, had she been here, would have taken issue it with , the inability to block out light w/o blocking the a/c and the face that the room really wan't secure.
I really didn't care. Cause I'm a guy.
When you do that $2M remo - open up the lobby so when you come into the hotel the front desk is open to you, and they can greet you... not behind more doors like a bail bonds office, not that i've been in one:-)

Excellent location. Room was very large. Comfortable bed. Restaurant was excellent for breakfast.
No elevator Stairs we’re steep and confusing as to which one led to the correct room

It's located in a little historical town with some things to do during the day -- tours, shops, restaurants, a trailhead in walking distance. The staff were kind and the breakfast at their restaurant was delicious.
Someone tried to open my door three times (1st two times with a key, despite having a Do Not Disturb sign on the doorknob). When I left my room a couple hours later, the DND sign was missing. You'll want to shower very early in the morning if you'd like hot water.

Good location and we had a newly remodeled room. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Our room was on ground floor and the window in our room looked right out to the sidewalk where people walked by and the cooling unit was also in the window area and it was summer time and hot out, so we needed to have the AC on which meant you had to have the curtains open at least part way in order to use the Air conditioner, which meat anyone walking by could see in your room. NOT A good thing to me.
