Very pleasant and satisfying experience. It definitely would be my next choice.

The room surprisingly had no odor or moisture, no carpet, and the floor and other indoor facilities were very clean. The room is very warm in a cold rainy night.

Clean, comfy and renovated rooms. Staff is kind. It's a nice stay and affordable also.

very comfy and good location to go to Humpty's for breakfast while I waited for my shuttle bus

I guess this is not uncommon, but there is a large deposit needed like $200 on credit card. I am not sure how this would work for travellers with no credit. I had issue with getting it returned to my card, but the manager straightened it out, so that was very nice.

Clean and pretty quiet

Location was good close to the highway. Was pretty quiet couldn't hear much traffic.

Could of had some bath towels in the room. The biggest towel they had was not a bath towel size if it was the it was a small bath towel. Couldn't understand the staff member as his English wasn't that great.

I willl never return.

nothing about it was nice and super over priced. looked like someone was murdered in the shower lol.

super old school place, nothing about it is renovated. you can’t use the main hallways, the ceiling of our bathroom was so gross, they didn’t have extra blankets, the room smelt funky, no housekeeping, the shower head had duct tape on it, such a small room for $140 a night.

Could not open the window room was very stuffy no one checked to see if we needed anything like as in toilet paper or soap only one garbage can in the hole room no coffee maker would not recommend to anyone

Close to the transCanada for easy off and on, adequate facilities for one night. Good for budget minded.

Clean, comfortable, small fridge with separate freezer area, secure wi-fi although minimal

Torn, very worn sheets, teeny tiny bathroom with barely room to turn around, minimal number of towels, only one washcloth for two people, no bath mat (had to use one of the towels).

wouldn’t stay here ever again!

only thing that this place has going for it is location

the owner is a complete nightmare, extremely confrontational and down right rude. I informed him I was traveling with a pet (French bulldog). he never said anything, handed me the debit machine , I paid, then he informs me that I need to pay extra for my pet. he started going into the back office bringing out no pet policy papers, then pulls out a pointer stick and starts pointing at other papers taped to a table that says pets (small dogs only) extra $25 per night. He was incredibly rude. I said to him why didn’t you tell me all this before I paid. he never answered just kept telling me to “you must pay pay pay”, I said just refund me and I’ll go somewhere else, he started yelling and said “no refund “ . I haven’t even checked in at this point just paid. so the choice was pay the extra or lose the $87.75 for the room. I paid the extra $25.00. was not worth the money. it was an extremely stressful night, room is old and dingy, water from the taps smell like sulfer. the added the stress because of his behaviour. I was worried if I would even have my $200 “room deposit” returned to me. long story short don’t waste your time with this place, less than 2 minutes away right on the main thru road there’s several other motels and hotels. give them a shot and read the google reviews not just the reviews here, had I done that I would have know that it would have been an issue with the midway motel and could have saved my girlfriend, my puppy and myself an extremely stressful night and situation. thanks and hope this helps someone.
