Nick was great! The home cooked pancakes were amazing and the scenery was beautiful. We ate breakfast out on the back deck and watched the wildlife. Loved all the extra goodies he leaves for you! Snacks and drinks and supplies for bubble baths in the claw tub. It was a great place for peace and relaxation.

I highly recommend The Inn at Fox Hill farm! Nick and Polly were very gracious hosts, and the breakfast was amazing, with real maple syrup, y'all! Nick has quite a sense of humor, and it was wonderful to meet them both. Anything that you could want for your stay can be found here. The property is very peaceful and beautiful and was totally what I needed for a relaxing, uninterrupted getaway. The farm has been in the family for generations, and how lucky that they are willing to share it with us. You should stay here, you would not be disappointed!

We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet, the space, the comfort and the scenery. We loved that Nick and Polly welcomed our dog! They are such experienced, generous and friendly hosts and attended to every detail. And the breakfasts were wonderful! Thank you for everything.

Not a cookie cutter hotel room, thank God. Secluded "cabin type" building was overlooking open fields, pond, and New England forests. Cabin was so cozy, with antiques and history, I kind of wish we lived there!

Was private, quiet, comfortable, exceptionally clean. Ton of personality, with none of that sterile yet skeevy hotel vibe.

Nick was a great host. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and he cooked a delicious breakfast. The grounds are beautiful.

First of all, Nick and Polly are extremely nice and gracious people. In addition, the breakfast (blueberry pancakes with bacon) is absolutely delicious. Finally, the property is clean, has all the amenities, and a breathtaking view. We LOVE it here.

This place and the HOST was Awesome! The Property was of an old farmhouse. But honestly, that added to the charm. And it still had everything You would expect at any hotel and more. Right down to the Large soaking tube and Towel Warmers! It has a breathtaking view of a lake, and open back porch for sitting outside to drink a cup of coffee. It is a hidden gem of a Get-Away place. If You are looking to relax... THIS IS IT!!! Breakfast was cooked to order and awesome, and a nicely stocked fridge that You can raid for free...
I hated to leave!!! I would not change anything. I want to keep quiet about this place so that I can always come back anytime I can.

Nick was accommodating and the cottage had everything you need and a nice deck with a great view of the pond.

Delicious breakfasts both days, served in our cottage, while we enjoyed a pretty view of a field, a pond, and trees starting to turn into fall colors. Scrambled eggs were soft and creamy. The cottage was stocked with drinks and snacks which was so convenient.
There was nothing we did not like. Just want to note that the tub is an older style with high sides which could be a little hard to get in and out of for some people who are not in good shape physically.

The owner gave us choices for breakfast and it was all yummy! Our kitchen had a keurig and also a tea pot for tea. There was a fridge with drinks in it if we needed anything. Also the view overlooking the lake was wonderful! The house is further along the property and we had a beautiful country suite, living room, kitchen area, large bedroom, bathroom with claw foot tub and a private deck overlooking the lake.. I would definitely stay here again!!
I would have liked to know that the house that you first see is NOT the place. Since that house was in the process of being fixed up I was a little worried because I thought that was the house. It is not! The house is further and we had a beautiful country suite, living room, kitchen area, large bedroom, bathroom with claw foot tub and a private deck overlooking the lake.. I would definitely stay here again!! Also I can't wait to see the big house finished. It will be beautiful!

The only negative about our stay is that it had to end. The breakfast was wonderful. The view could not be beat. We sat on the private deck overlooking the picturesque meadow and lake anytime we had a moment, including in the evening where we just took in the stars and the moonlit landscape. There is also a great patio in the front of the cottage with a view of the garden. The hammock was wonderful.
We explored the general locality and had a great time, including in Putnam which had a number of excellent restaurants. Grill 37, which is within a mile or two was very enjoyable. There is a rails-to-trails trail about 5 miles away and makes for a great path to walk, bike, or run.
Our hosts treated us like family guests rather than guests of a B&B. The story of the main house and the farm is wonderful and interesting. There is no want for anything when staying with them (other than more time).

Great property with amazing owners. Booked at last minute while at the Brimfield Flea Market in July.. Easily one of the best places we have stayed. Very clean, quaint and romantic. The owner made us a custom breakfast and served it in our kitchen! We will be back every time we are in the area. Highly recommended!

A very relaxing stay at a beautiful farm. The hosts served a great breakfast made to order and were all around accommodating. A basket full of edible goodies, all the coffee you care to drink and a fridge filled with beverages. Lots of extra touches went into making this B&B remarkable. Highly recommended for a getaway.

Staying at this Inn was like a combination of being in a beautiful fairy tale and traveling back in the history of our country!
From the sprawling grounds to the welcoming set up to the exceptional views and most delicious breakfast, nothing was amiss!
This was our place to stay for the night but could have easily been a destination to visit in itself!
Stop reading this. Book and Enjoy!
Thank you Nick for sharing your family's incredible history with us and for making our stay so comfortable!
Wish we could stay longer at this enchanted place!
