Amazing property and amazing staff
10.0
The staff was beyond amazing. They anticipated needs I didn't even think of and made sure everything was beyond expectations. They took the time to get to know us and planned experiences that suited us. Every staff member knew our names and always stopped to say hello and check on us.
Not one thing. Wish I could have stayed longer

Hotel facilities are exceptional. the beach area is gorgeous with the greenest water ever. water sports were great (SUP, kayak). the room we had (facing the sea) was spectacular. best of all: the people of Bahamas running the whole place. EXCEPTIONAL. Thank you Nicole for the birthday serenade. It almost brought tears to my eyes. Genuine people. The restaurant was great. The infinite pool next to it after a dip on the beach was a refreshing welcome. The side of the beach we stayed at was quiet with all couples. We loved it. The grass throughout the beach area and pool was fine, like golf course. So you can walk barefoot everywhere comfortably.

The property is beautiful with two different beaches to choose from. The staff was incredibly friendly. Truly the nicest people. They were very accommodating as well, helping us to book a boat trip.
Service was extremely inconsistent. Coffee is free if you ask for it at the bar, but if you're sitting at a table 2 feet away it costs money. Sometimes we were given fresh towels in the room, sometimes we weren't. We never received robes in the room, even though our neighbors in the same type of room did. These inconsistencies left us scratching our heads more than anything, but when you pay as much as you do to stay here, you'd think things would be a little more buttoned up.

we love the location. The resort Definitely need some TLC, but over all was great. They need have more specials on the menu, this was the only Restaurant, so if you stay few days is always the same.
charges wasn't consistent, sometime I payed $4 for coffee and sometime $8!!!
deck was not in good shape, I got few splinters. Live music would be great

hotel rooms were extremely dirty , so does the house keeping ( haven’t even seen anyone). there were many died & alive insects all over the room!! we tried to reach to the conciarge for a help but no one showed up. the restaurant of the hotel was suprisingly unprofessional, they didn’t even know what’s an Americano or an Espresso was!! i had to explain and even show them in order to have a cup of coffee.. the waiters were also rude when i told them that this was not what i ordered! the prices were extremely high both for the hotel restaurant and the rooms regarding to the service and tastes. such a dissapointment considering the beautiful location.. i’ve had to email before my arrival many many times to reach to the hotel and even had to write them via instagram and yet no one ever apologised for the extremely late response. there were supposed to have a ‘gym’ but the treadmil wasnt working and it was fully closed the second day!

THE HOTEL IS A RIP OFF
The fair price would be 50% for what they offer.
It could be such a great location and facility but (even if the manager told us they've JUST reopened after 18 months of closure for covid - and renovation of the hotel - although you struggle to understand where it has been renovates as it's poorly maintained).
- NO WINE LIST (can't pay 1000 $/night for a place that doesn't have wine?)
- NO COFFEE (cause machine was broken --> then wait a little more to reopen the place)
- GRASS IS BURN (they give water to the plants at 12 with bloody sun --> mean they've very bad gardeners cause of course the grass would burn like that...)
- Restaurant dinner was something you expect from a 200-300$/night hotel
- No outside dining during breakfast (so you have to freeze inside a ac place)
- GYM WAS SUPER DIRTY
- BICYCLES ARE DANGEROUS ( we told the manager to get better bikes, my husband's one had a broken handlebar)

The location is amazing. Just next to two excellent beaches, great for kids to swim.
The food in the restaurant (including breafast) is very expensive.

You may find yourself a visually perfect spot, but often the food is not so, and on the Caribbean its often the case as there is often a shortage of exotic ingredients, not so here, as they have a local farm growing all their own organic fruit and veg and herbs. The food was very good and varied with a Japanese twist !
NOTHING !! There was one day when there was a corporate event going on, and I wish we had been given a heads up... I think if you pay to get away from it all you dont want to be in the company of large parties, on an away day ! I do think the staff did a good job, in general in containing them.
