ENDROIT CALME EN BANLIEUE D'ALLAUCH

Very quiet location, although there did seem to be only one other room occupied. We liked the facilities available for smokers which are so often overlooked today.
Shower room was a little small, but more than sufficient for a one night stay. We arrived late while reception was closed and had been texted a code for the gate. The code we received was incorrect, which was a little worrying, but the issue was quickly resolved.

Cadre très sympa avec un personnel disponible et accueillant. Excellent rapport qualité prix.
Le coussin un peu dur mais sinon, tout est niquel.

Great location. Nice shower. Good blackout shutters.
We arrived early evening by Uber looking forward to a meal and a drink in the advertised bar and restaurant but they were not open. We were left with no food or drink in the middle of nowhere with a 40 minute walk to the nearest shop. Due to the lack of wifi and phone signal we decided not to risk the walk and so the hotels only answer to this was to use the vending machine and have chocolate and crisps! We were told that this was the only night that it would be shut but it did not open until our 4th night and that appeared to be for a private party.
I was asked to pay when I arrived despite paying in full at the time of booking. When I told her this she agreed that she could see this but then tried to debit my card the full amount the following day. Fortunately the transaction was rejected by my bank and when I asked reception they made some poor excuse about it being their way of getting the money from booking.com. Strange as this has never happened anywhere else.
The advertised wifi was non-existent unless you were in reception.
We asked about using the pool but were told no.
No kettles in rooms to make hot drinks. I asked if it was possible to get some hot water and was told it was chargeable so didn't bother.
Room was tiny which wasn't a problem as we didn't want to spend any more time than we had to at the hotel due to the reasons noted above. It would have been nice to have a proper door on the toilet though seeing as it was literally 5 feet away from my pillow.
Bed was a decent size but was really uncomfortable and squeaked so loudly when one of us moved that it would wake us up at night.
All in all a very disappointing stay.

La sympatie du propriétaire alors que c'était mal parti sur un quiproquo . Personne professionnelle et très sympathique. Nous y reviendront .

The hotel is located at a quiet place. The staff is kind.
The check-in time is a bit late. The room isn't well prepared.

Was here for 1 night in September 2021, overall can rate the stay as a good pleasant experience,
The hotel is located a bit outside of Marseille, has a nice terrace, a free parking.
Personel is really good - the hosts speak french and just a little english, but it wasn't a problem.
Possible to buy food during the day - bought a pizza, which was really tasty ! :)
The room was fine, all facilities are available and are in order
The room hasn't had windows, but it is compensated by a nice terrace

Rural Location, one likes that
Smallest bedroom I ever stayed in, plus the tiniest bathroom - essentially a small shower with a toilet inside, smaller as in most campervans! Far too expensive for what it is.
4.5
Tranquil setting and lovely views over the Pagnol Hills.
A circular bed.

Everything was great!
The only negative point was not having a fridge in the room.

The owner is very cultural, flexible, and there were no problems.
The location is nice (typical village in Provence).
Excellent price.
All things that shoudl nominally work, are working, except wifi.
There was hot water all the time, good room heating, bed and surrounding was clean and generally non repulsive esthetically. Consider it as reliable tourist hotel for temporary stay. Not so much for business tavellers.
If you just have to sleep and rest, go there without fears.
For Formule 1 I would have given 8 stars, here I give 7 because the stay is correct but esthetically completely uninspiring.
The owner did not understand that the invoice should be issued for the company, and whats in the system are ID of a person living in, but while booking.com is paying him, it is just payment. He should have issued an invoice as asked for company tax ID which sent me as I have double-checked later. We understood each other very well because I speak French very well.
Otherwise one star hotels in Marseille are generally horrible - by Polish standards. This one is however shining atop of other one stars for marseille. Compared to typical budget mass-hotel, there were traces/discoloring on the roof from former water, the shower tends to fill slowly entire floor of the typical triangular bathroom etc. There is single power outlet far from bathroom.
The hotel looks inside like 30-year own worn tourist class hotel.
Wifi was not working but it might be temporary problem.
For some, lack of breakfast option might be a problem.
You would better rent a car or arrange transport, because the hotel is quite far (1-2km?) from the last 144 line bus stop unles you enjoy your walk as I did.
