perfect way to end a day

decided last mintue to book another night as was happy with first night, owner was exceptional and got us the same room, we loved relaxing in the spa bath and electric blankets keeping us nice and room while watching sky and enjoying our time at Tudor lodge. Owner is very warm and welcoming treated us with respect and like family will defiently come again.

I am returning to this motel

The studio unit was lovely. Having the kitchen was a real bonus. The unit was serviced on the 2nd day of my stay.

There was nothing not to like.

Love the good sized rooms great location rooms are nice and clean staff are friendly

Nice and clean room.

The facilities are good. The room has a good size kitchen to prepare meals. The room size is big.

The noise from road traffic is quite noticeable. There are not many restaurants or eateries nearby.

It was better than I expected

I had read mixed reviews, most of which were positive and I would agree that it is a great option if you're looking for something in the lower price range. I had a spa room and the main room was well presented and clean and the bed was good with nice linen. The room had a small separate kitchen which was a great bonus. The room was very spacious.

The bathroom was very average, it smelt a bit damp and the exhaust fan was loud. The bottom of the spa had scratches on it for some reason. The location is ok but it is on a busy road which got noisy in the morning while I was still asleep so that was a bit annoying.

Great value, very comfortable and would recommend this motel.

Clean,spacious room. The host was very welcoming.

Not the fault of the owners but the noise of the road traffic in the morning woke me a bit sooner than planned.

Passable

Air con doesn’t work and so windows opened and no privacy in toilet as blinds don’t go all the way down. Dated deco- main road all night. It is fine but I have paid same money for much nicer places unfortunately.

Spa bath amazing! Spacious room. Great kitchen with full sized fridge.

That we didn't book the spa room for our return visit 5 days later! Otherwise nothing!

Comfortable, quiet rooms with excellent facilities

Friendly & helpful staff The motel rooms including the spa baths were beautifully clean, we had 3 rooms & they were all the same.

Great location & amenities

Handy to bus route. Fast food places, bakery, pharmacy & beach. Spacious room with all amenities. Laundry to use, which was great after a 5 day Abel Tasman hike. We were also able to store our bags there for a few days while we walked the Abel Tasman track.

The wifi wasn't very stable, kept cutting out. Other than that, everything was good.

Clean room, well maintained. Spa bath was very good. Location of motel was very good, walking distance to restaurants and the beach.

We had the room closest to the main road and was a little noisy, particularly in late afternoon.
