absolutely perfection!

we loved everything about this property. the setting is beautiful, rooms and balconies are amazing, food is so delicious, bar is fun, pool is heavenly!

we wished we could have stayed longer!

Will not stay here again.

We did not get to enjoy any of the amenities at the pool. This is not a family friendly resort. It is a couples resort we had issues we had to call them. The door knob is falling off the door. The scent candles were coming off and there’s bugs in the room. Staff was rude.

HVAC...what a view

The staff was extremely friendly and breakfast very tasty.

The trip was for our 39th anniversary. My husband booked this to suprise me. Our view was the HVAC...very disappointed. Went out to enjoy the morning, no view and could only hear the system running. If he had been informed of this, would have chosen somewhere else.

We were pampered and took a break from heat.

The staff couldn’t be more accommodating. The location is relaxing l, beautiful and close enough to Helen be in the tourist fray in a few minutes. The golf course has obviously had some torrential rain with wash-outs but the mountain course is so much fun for a flat lander. The Spa is professional, peaceful with quality therapists. The Skybar offers good food & drink with a great view. The pool has a number of Cabanas.. Breakfast was very good.

The dinner restaurant was too pricey with average food and less than fresh seafood.

Nice hotel and location. Just needs to be updated at the price point.

Everything was great for the most part.

The bed was pretty old and the partook furniture really needs to be replaced desperately. Chairs were falling apart and cushions plagued with black mold.

Beautiful property but not for families

Beautiful gated property with nice views. Pretty landscaping including dogwood trees in full bloom. It was fun to drive our SUV up the hills to get to the resort. Beautiful lobby that looks like a castle inside, and very friendly staff. Full restaurant and bar. We stayed in a 1 bedroom chalet with fireplace and hot tub and nice view over-looking the golf course. Brought our little dog with us which was an important factor in choosing the chalet. We plan to come back in the summer, but will not choose a chalet next time.

We thought the chalet would be good for our family of 3 (2 adults 1 preschooler) but it was too small and there is not a microwave to warm up restaurant leftovers or make popcorn. There is a mini fridge so you could keep yogurt and snacks. Well stocked bar with unique choices! Unfortunately, the sofa and chairs were very uncomfortable. Window unit was loud and annoying. Bathroom was very nicely appointed but we had too little hot water. Overall its a nice place- just not right for us.

Already planning our next stay.

we loved the room! clean, bed was comfortable. food/ room service was amazing!

I think the snacks/bar could benefit from a few more options. still pretty good.

A nice romantic getaway

The staff is absolutely amazing. They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and enjoying your stay. Additionally, the beds are very comfortable and the rooms are cozy.

Alcohol pricing was a little steep, but to be expected at such an establishment.

We visited the Valhalla Resort Hotel for the first time to celebrate my husband’s birthday. This was an experience for us. We loved how each moment was personal from the complimentary valet parking to the room service. Drew was the absolute best, and he made sure that my husband's celebration was a success. we will be back.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoy my stay each time I visit!

Staff friendly. Rooms and views are beautiful.

I was looking forward to sitting in front of the fireplace of our room. However, when I could not get it to work, I called guest services and was informed that our fireplace did not work. I wish we were made aware of this prior to.
