The 'Prem' room I stayed in was great, very comfortable, however, if you are looking for somewhere quiet to retreat, this is not the place to stay. There were two dogs living at the property that barked through the night and one even slept outside my door, which was quite intimidating. The dogs also lingered around the eating space which seemed very inappropriate and also made me uncomfortable, particularly when spending $200 per night.
The property didn't meet my expectations, it is not exactly as advertised on their website. I ended up checking out of this accommodation early as the other rooms were not as advertised, missing furniture and not appealing for a retreat. If you are looking for somewhere scenic and beautiful to stay in Ubud I would avoid this place, you are best to put the money toward one of the nicer hotels close by. Staff seemed to be very inexperienced and not very helpful either. The massage space was not set up for treatments and was very messy.

I like the serene and quiet environment and the prem hut was simply lovely, however the road leading to the location is a little too narrow and challenging for the taxi. Overall, it is a lovely place for a retreat.

Very serene hotel, perfect for yoga and meditation. We literally haven’t seen a single hotel guest other than ourselves during our stay. There is a huge yoga space by the river, where we had our private yoga classes in the morning ($60 per couple, $90 for 3-4pax). The room was nice, spacious and clean. There is a super nice plant-based restaurant in 200m walking distance from the hotel. Ubud center is a 10-min bike ride away.
Recommended for someone who is is looking for a quiet retreat.
Mosquitos were a huge problem for me in particular, despite constant preventive repellent spraying and mosquito nets on the bed (which probably need changing at this point, as there were holes in them). I was bitten badly and ended up with skin allergies (a consideration for someone like myself who is an easy prey for insects).
The hotel across the river would put on a loud music sometimes, which did not really resonate with a “quiet jungle retreat” vibe.
Although we loved the facilities, ultimately we felt like the hotel and yoga classes were a bit overpriced compared to other accommodation options in Ubud, but we loved it anyway.

Delicious and abundant breakfast, lovely ozone pool, location is a little out of the way which I liked. Close to Moksa which is an amazing vegan restaurant. Staff are so friendly and welcoming, made me feel like family, and so at home. I stayed in the Prem suite which was great as a solo traveller.
