The room was clean, decorated nicely, hallways always smelled beautiful.
No parking and the app for the mobile parking was hard to used and figure out.

The location
The rooms had air conditioning issues, the refrigerator was broken & all of my food spoiled. The hotel manager was very nasty
I was moved to three different rooms
The rooms were missing items, including appliances & silverware
Extremely noisy
The staff were unprofessional and rude
I did not have one good night there
I was forced to leave a day early & told to contact booking about refunding me for the night, along with my spoiled food. I was humiliated. I have travelled around the world and stayed in many hotels, resorts, cruise ships, Airbnb…and have never been treated or made to feel like I felt at Residence at Marriott

Staff was great. Super friendly and helpful. Room was nice. Very clean. Stephanie checked me in and was very welcoming. The girl doing schoolwork in the evening with glasses was awesome. There was a path along the river nearby and we went walking. Very nice.
Beware the pet fee. My service dog always travels with me and most places let you know of a nonrefundable deposit. Normally $50 or $75. Not a word was said to me. Was charged $150 after my stay. For that alone I would not stay here again. The parking deck had confusing signage as to being able to park overnight. So I spent $70 to valet. All in all I would not stay here again.

I love the location. The people in the hotel are amazing. I love the rooms with the kitchen. It makes your stay feel at home. The restaurant across the street is very convenient as well. Close to all things on Market Street.
The elevators need work. Had a couple scares with it jerking as if it was going to fall. There was nothing else we didn't' like.

I could not stay because my room preference was not met after I requested adjoining rooms on your website. No one responded to my request; of course I thought this meant my request was honored; to be certain I would have adjoining rooms I called the hotel directly and was told they do not have adjoining rooms in my catagory, so I requested rooms next to one another and was told the change would be made. However, when I arrived on June 9th to checkin I was told the hotel does not have any adjoining rooms and my reserved rooms are not next to one another but on separate floors which would not work for me because I had young children with me. The checkin gentleman told me because I used booking.com, hotel staff could not make changes to my reservation. These accommodations were made because I was getting married June 10th and I wanted my entire bridal party to celebrate with the evening before my wedding. I’m extremely disappointed that I was not able to give this celebration to myself and my bridal party.

First time to Delaware. The location is perfect to get around things needed. The staff and front desk and checkin associstes were awesome. The buffet breakfast was on point. Valet parking top notch. The place was very clean. Love the kitchen in the suites. The housekeeping staff was awesome and very professional. These things are the main reason I chose this location over the courtyard location down the street. I will visit again in June!! I think I found my spot when coming to Wilmington, Delaware.

it was only one employee at front desk, so it was a long wait, the room key machine wasn’t working, they had to walk me to my room then bring my key back to me

Breakfast was some crustless quiche that was ok, powdered eggs, juices bagels and muffins and yogurt.
We were down visiting an ill friend and needed dinner at the hotel, I choose Marriotts because of their hot breakfasts and restaurant but this one only had bar food.....we were looking for dinner so this wasn't helpful to us and there was NOTHING else around this hotel. Breakfast was not much better. As far as the hotel and staff goes......NEAT AS A PIN, not a speck of dust or anything our of place. The room just as nice as the rest of the place. We will be back to visit with our friend and will stay here again but not eat here.

the staff was amazing. Jada in particular, she was patient with my inquiring about early check in, then gave good intel about parking. the young lady on the overnight shift was also very friendly
As usual, your beds and linens are a delight!
the lighting was kind of weird in the bathroom, and the shower didn’t drain as well as it could.
