Got a suite, very continental american furniture. A beauty.

Great, quiet location for a reasonable rate for the Bay Area.
We were warned about the noise from the train station across the street from our section of the hotel but it wasn't much of a nuisance.

The rooms are perfect and adorable. The sheets are so so so soft, the beds are so insanely comfortable that I had trouble getting out of them. Very homey and comfortable! You feel safe and at home when you’re there.
The area is scary at night but that’s not the hotel’s fault. Everything about the hotel is great!

Nice room very spacious n loved the tub and my view...
A bit costly... The only problem i had with my stay was the price of it.

the suite in the annex building was amazing! staff/owner was extremely responsive and helpful with everything. parking and location was easy access to point Richmond. had a great time and would definitely stay in that room again!

No breakfast available at the hotel. Breakfast across the street --at Little Joe's -- was very good.
There was no heat in the rooms.

Sweet place to stay. Old building decorated with charm. Clean, comfortable and a great location.
It's set up so you never see the staff at all. You can text for help if necessary, but there's no one around to answer questions.

It was a bit off putting to not see another live person while we were there, but all in all it was a cool and unusual hotel. We will go there again.

The place was clean and comfortable and attractive, the check-in and everything else went super smoothly. We stayed in the Annex, and parked in the gated lot. Point Richmond is a quiet and charming little enclave in the middle of the swirl and congestion of the Bay Area-- we'll stay there again next time we're back. Nice Thai restaurant down the street, nice coffee shop too... we enjoyed strolling around the neighborhood.
No complaints.

I loved the fireplace in the room and the separate shower and deep tub. I also loved the fact that it was in a prime restaurant, shopping and small beach location in walking distance.
It wasn't very well attended during my stay. There was never a live person at the reception desk. It was very hot in the room when you had the fireplace on and there was no microwave in the room it was a shared one down the hall...I also wish that the hotel Mac restaurant was open.

Very clean and comfy. reminded me of small hotels I’ve stayed in Ireland. it’s in a great location too with a small business district and dining options.
the restaurant on the ground floor was closed due to Covid

it was right in downtown Point Richmond near several restaurants and coffee shops. The room we had in the annex was spacious and nicely appointed.
A train came by every night at 3 AM and the garbage trucks could be heard at 5 AM

The location was awesome...Pt Richmond is a cute area with lots of restaurants and a few shops(grocery, art, clothing etc.) in walking distance and also Keller Beach is in walking distance as well. Very safe and quite
Very sad that the Hotel restaurant was closed down...Would have been nice to have a microwave in the room and maybe a fan to circulate the air in the room, was very hot when fire place was on.

I like the location and appreciate the contactless entry. The cleanliness is also excellent.
The pillows were very uncomfortable. Need new pillows. Also, I have stayed at Hotel Mac several times and this time there was a strong perfume smell in my room. I couldn't tell if it was from the cleaning materials or someone who had been in the room before me. It was so strong it gave me a headache.

room very small dark

location, clean, comfortable bed, good shower, secure parking
had some issues figuring g out the heating system and wifi access but texts to the management were responded to promptly. elevator was out of order
7.0
Great location in cute Point Richmond, bed comfortable.
The heat in the room took a long time to come in. The desk was awkwardly placed, partially blocking the path to the bathroom. I think I prefer the Annex (where we stayed last time) to the older hotel itself. Wifi was weak. I wish the hotel restaurant was open. I think Covid has been tough on Point Richmond so I don’t want to be too critical; we will come back again when visiting our nearby daughter.
