The property was beautiful with plenty of trees. We loved that it was secluded and private.

The house itself was beautiful and it was a comfortable atmosphere.
No outside paths on the property to walk around.

The old house is beautiful and the room was comfortable
The breakfast was very poor, I paid more to stay here, expecting a really nice breakfast, but did not get it. It was served late & the 2-course breakfast was a small serving of apple crisp, then finally a breakfast sandwich, which was one egg & bacon on dry toast. Very disappointing & I left there hungry, which I would have never imagined. They should have told me that Friday is an off day for breakfast. The driveway is very steep & narrow.

Beautiful B&B
Our bathroom was not part of our bedroom. We had to go out into the hallway. We didn’t have to share it but it was not ideal.

Location was great as was staff. Very quiet too
Just wish that curtains covered all windows. Pretty light in the morning

Lovely! Welcoming, pretty, fantastically located to visit the parkway, Biltmore, go out, etc. Not walking distance but easy to go anywhere.

Really comfortable stay - great bed in an old Inn with wonderful staff and fabulous breakfast! Very accommodating to food allergies. Perfect location, quiet enough.
It didn't bother us - but expect creaking floors, radiator sounds, beautiful old furniture, and quaint old bathrooms with cracked tiles. Everything works just fine though - it's the whole package that is appealing for us!

Inn was lovely/charming. Loved the location. Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast was tasty
Bed was not comfortable, breakfast was a little skimpy. Only one coffee pod available in our cottage second morning.

Breakfast was creative and thanks for packing a Togo bag .
The bathroom faucets were lose , the jacuzzi didn’t work . The entrance to our room had junk piled outside the door and was poorly lit .

Staff at welcome (Arthur).
Outdated building, bathroom not reaching minimum nowadays standards. Bad bed. Located too far from downtown, aside a busy road with lot of noice.
Hint for the staff lady at breakfast: a smile makes a lot of differences.

Breakfast, staff and room were all great
During the day noise was full of sirens going to the nearby hospital.

I loved the staff and the food was amazing.
I didn’t like hearing the sirens and I didn’t like having my room on the third floor had a difficult time with the last flight of stairs. If there was a way to list that on booking it would help with getting a room on a lower floor. Everything else was great.

I loved this b and b, the house was much more beautiful than I had thought and the way the property is set up you feel like you are out in the country rather than right off a main road (best of both worlds). The staff were wonderful and made a to-go breakfast for me the first morning with homemade granola. If you are a fan of staying in historic homes with charm and atmosphere this is the perfect place. They also have a variety of rooms at different price points.

Location, amenities, and delicious breakfast!
It is a tad noisy when people walked around above us and noise outside but to be expected with such an old inn.

Charming old mansion with a lovely veranda perfect for sipping and rocking and listening to the world go by. Baked goods and snacks available for the taking. Nice, hot breakfast served each morning.
Dryer sheets or fabric softener used on bedding and towels.

Our family of 7 enjoyed our recent stay at Cedar Crest Inn.
It is very conveniently located less than 2 miles of downtown Asheville
The 2 course breakfast was excellent ! Shout out to excellent hospitality from Arthur :)
The evening treats of cookies and snacks was also a nice touch
We were surprised (pleasantly) to see Mama bear and 4 of her cubs strolling through the grounds during our stay-we are told its an occasional occurrence. We were able to watch them from the safety of our room.
The only issue we had during our stay--(one of our rooms was the 2 bedroom /1 bath Cottage) was the bathroom could not be locked on one side-the lock was not functional on one door
Apart from that inconvenience we had a great stay
The bathroom that failed to lock from one side

We all loved the place. We stayed on the top rooms. Shared a bathroom with our daughters. Everything was nice and clean. Arthur and Kelly were wonderful. Breakfast was delicious. They had fresh chocolate chip cookies and some snacks to grab throughout the day as well as tea, coffee and water.
The only thing I would mention is the keurig machine not working, but since they alread served brewed coffee, it was okay.

Clean, accommodated dietary restrictions for breakfast.
When I arrived to check in, we had been hiking all day in the rain. Sue checked us in and I was very surprised to find there was only one bed. This room was listed as having two beds- a queen and a twin. When I told Sue the listing had said two beds, she responded “Sometimes guests are looking at all these listings and they get mixed up.” I was too tired, and frankly offended, to find the listing and show her in that moment. I don’t even share a queen bed with my husband, let alone a friend; I never would have booked it if I knew this was the case. Also, the queen bed was very hard and springy. I tried to share the bed and ended up moving to the antique couch. Worst night of sleep I’ve had in a long time.
In addition, we tried to reach the after-hours line for a safety concern and they did not answer or respond. One of the sitting rooms had a gas fireplace that we noticed was on- it had a small flame burning unattended. It was set to “remote” setting but there was no remote in sight to turn it off.
This was absolutely not worth the $240 I paid. Very disappointed.

The location is superb. Close to everything, but not in the crazy bustle of downtown. The property is beautiful. The rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast is nearly gourmet (chef's choice, each day but they accommodate food allergies/limitations), and the service is wonderful. It was a very nice way to start the morning.
The rooms all have a private bath (note - most have a beautiful pedestal or claw foot tub, but they have a few options for a stand alone shower, so if that is an issue, you have to look at the details or call for info).
The patio was amazing at any time of the day. We had excellent choices for food (including a several Breweries) within a mile, it was very close to the entrance of The Biltmore, and only a couple of miles from the Greenway (walking/biking path along the river) and River Arts District.
We really enjoyed our stay!
There is no elevator, and most of the rooms are on the second or third floor, so please be aware.

We enjoyed the two main floor public spaces, the breakfast. Porches very likely inviting in warmer season.
Wished the upper level open spaces had chairs for card games? Shuttle to the Biltmore or the airport would have been extra convenient.

Beautiful building
Breakfast was horrible. We were excited for a B&B delicious breakfast and instead it was like a 1/4 cup of potatoes and a tiny burrito. Not what we had hoped for.

the location was perfect to downtown Asheville, the house is gorgeous, like stepping back in time.

the bathtub was a little hard to take a shower in due to no shower curtain.

Everything was great from the time we arrived to the time we checked out. the staff was wonderful especially Devonna, very sweet and friendly. Food was wonderful it was very peaceful. Really loved their custom cucumber body soap too.

Really nice B&B. Only criticism is that the bedroom we stayed in on the third floor (quite a shlep up to that one) had a bath that you had to get to by walking out in the hall. A shroud could be pulled over the passage to enhance privacy. In hindsight I should have selected a different room. Other than that, really nice.

Breakfast was fantastic. Place was comfy and clean. The only thing I would have liked was shades on the living room windows. Trying to sit on the sofa and chat the sun shone right in the eyes of one of us.
We were unprepared for the narrow one way road (driveway) which was a little confusing until we figured out, on our own, a good way to exit the property.
