Beach Access, beautiful grounds, atmosphere of seclusion but having great surrounding amenities & a wonderful staff!
Everything was great!
4.5
Not sure about breakfast. We only ate at the restaurant once since it was expensive. We LOVED the grounds the most. Absolutely beautiful! The housekeepers were so nice. Sitting out on the porch and beach access was our favorite parts!
The beds were a little uncomfortable and our shower head was calcified so we had little water pressure during showers.

Great location and good food in the restaurant. Not noisy and no bugs. Taxi pick and return from the airport was all smooth.
nothing I needed

El hotel se encuentra ubicado en un buen sitio y caminando uno puede ir a varios sitios cercanos, la playa es muy linda
Que tienen muchos gatos y afectan a la fauna nativa
4.5
Very nice and helpful staff. The place was low key and in a good location, close to bars and across the road from the beach.
All good.

I could have use some tv while in my room

Lovely hotel, decent value, would stay again. Centrally located, across from the dive shop I used. The room itself was excellent, very spacious, nice bathroom, decent water pressure.
The only thing was that it was mango season and the huge mango tree was dropping mangos at a rate of 1-2 an hour which resulted in a loud startling bang on the roof and slimy decaying mangos on the path that were not cleaned up while I was there. Music noise from the local bar generally ended 9-10 pm

great location, friendly and very helpful staff. Perfect place to enjoy the sunset in West End.
4.5
Perfect location for a west end stay. Just by the beach with dive center next to and a restaurent with hotel discount. Big rooms with a nice atmosphere. The staff was helpful with arranging tours and transport.
There’s is not much else to the place than the rooms, but it doesn’t really matter, because you don’t need anything else but a place to sleep. A little expensive.

great location, right across the street from the beach, hotel has lounge chairs on the beach, low season so very quiet, superb AC very strong, very large and spacious room with mini fridge, beach towels
the shower pressure was very weak

location is great, right on a beach. Lounge chairs and umbrellas provided. Diving center on the site. Rooms exactly what you see on pictures. Good restaurant on site, gives you discount if you stay in the Hotel
Air conditioner sometimes leaks inside the rooms.

The property felt very safe. The room was equipped with everything we needed and it was clean.

Good location in the west end, daily maid service.
I booked a top floor kitchenette unit, which was specifically what I wanted having stayed here before. The lower rooms are dark, and the upper rooms have more light and have vaulted ceilings, which make them feel more spacious and airy. I booked this room close to 8 months in advance and chose this room due to the pictures on their site. Got a lower level dark room in the back of the complex , that abutted residences and barking dogs. Not happy at all with the room. They were not too concerned that I did not get what I requested and they advertised. Won't stay here again.

loved it - food was great and beach is opposite

Location was excellent- walkable to everything in West End. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The attached restaurant, Argentinian Grill had delicious food and drinks. What I also really liked is that they have kayaks available to rent for free for guests.
Although the sheets and towels were fresh and clean, the room itself was lacking; there was sand covering the floor when we first walked in making it seem as if the floor hadn’t been cleaned at all. Also not a super big deal but the toilet bowl was pretty stained and looked as if it had not been cleaned for a while, kind of giving it a more rundown appearance.

Close to the beach, quiet location.
Worn bed mattress. Springs poking through.
We stayed at 5 different hotels around the bay area and worn mattress was the norm in all of them.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The towels were fluffy and nice. The deck was great for sitting and relaxing and loved the hammock. Also loved that there was a safe and fridge for convenience. As well as the water jugs to purchase. Having the grill there for coffee and beautiful food available was an excellent experience.
There wasn't anything I can think of that I didn't like.

Perfect location
I didn't get a room with a kitchen like Ibwas supposed.

The exterior door lock was similar to a bedroom or bathroom door lock, very insecure, very easy to break in, as well as there were windows in the door so if you are the type that likes security perhaps rethink this hotel. As well, we were buying expensive water and coffee and tea from the restaurant at restaurant prices because we were not told we could buy water for a reasonable price both next door and from the hotel itself.

Attached restaurant was very convenient and staff quickly became friends. The mornings sitting on balcony listening to the numerous birds was very relaxing. Staff went out of there way to make sure we were happy. Location is excellent for the dive district with water taxis waiting out front for $5 per to go to west bay beach area. The attached dive shop is so easy to work with helped with everything we did fir rides and excursions. Almon and Mauricio great guys
Not super important but usually brought home leftovers to the room. Microwave to preheat in the morning would've been nice.

Convenient location. Friendly staff. Very clean.
Leaving! (We stayed two weeks. Wanted to stay longer.)

Out of all the Caribbean and Central American places I have visited -- this was the most overpriced in hotel, food and drinks. I ended up buying drinks elsewhere, and lunch. I liked the rustic feel of actual hotel, why I chose it.
This is NOT exactly a beach front hotel -- you have to cross the street to get to a small side of a VERY public beach. There was NO personal space (COVID, anyone???) --- The hotel shares a space with a dive shop and they had NO respect for personal space (except for the captain/the main dive instructor there at Moana Divers, HE was the only one with manners and respect). I laid my towel out on a chair, and one of those divers actually had the neres to sit there, place his items there as I watched from breakfast ---> and right in front of me, parked his oxygen tanks to be unloaded, next to someone smoking - walked in front of camera/picture moments, EVERYTHING. Then we had issues with the bill several times, conveniently the "12%" discount was left off quite often, and we had to check every time. Then the issue with not charging folks properly -- many issues. Again, this is NOT a beach front hotel, you have to cross the street to get to the beach. The best thing about the hotel was the rustic feel. Even then, I left a message (writing) saying I'd like a room on the ground, closest tot he beach (3 months before coming out) --- they had me tucked in the back of the hotel, no where near the beach... considering the beach was across the street to begin with; BUT there were other rooms MUCH closer to the entrance of beach than where I Was tucked away, and I kept that in mind during my stay. There is much cheaper breakfast up the street as well -- - average cost of breakfast is $7 US dollars, but IF you eat at the hotel, it's between $11 and $20.00, depending on hwat you order (if you order stra tomatoes, onions, cheese, they sharge close to $2 for it).

I loved Simba at the restaurant
Nothing to complain about. It was paradise

This is exactly what we were looking for. A boutique hotel on the bay. Private beach with deck chairs and kayaks. You can swim with a mask, although the reef is quite far from the shore and rather modest, but still worth the trouble, Rooms beautifully decorated and equipped. Comfortable large beds. We had a view of the sea and a large terrace where we could relax nicely. Under the hotel Argentine restaurant (discount for guests) with brilliant cuisine. The hotel manager, Carolina, extremely friendly and helpful at every stage We absolutely recommend.
Wi-fi in the room not available.
