Lovely place to stay

Lovely hotel. We loved the Grand Cafe and Restaurant where we shared afternoon tea with some family members. We loved the admosphere. Dutch Cuisine dinner in the evening was delicious!

Perfect adres in het centrum van Leeuwarden.

Mooi hotel in het oude postkantoor van Leeuwarden. Veel mooie authentieke details, gezellige horeca en perfect uitgebreid ontbijt. Parkeren om de hoek in parkeergarage.

Op de kamer rook het een beetje muf.

Beautiful charming hotel with real character steeped in history. Lovingly restored into a fabulous hotel blending old with new. Staff amazing and we had a first class experience beginning to end.

Top hotel!

Heerlijke ruime kamer geboekt met bubbelbad sauna en eigen terras. Aan de rand van de binnenstad, wel opletten betaald parkeren tot 10 uur savonds . Keurige ontvangst.

Good place to stay, but depends on room.

Staff is great, makes you feel welcome. Location is convenient. Breakfast is good.

Second time I stayed here. 1st time the room was a lot bigger and more comfortable.

Gastvrij ontvangst in een prachtig en origineel monument

De zeer persoonlijke ontvangst. Hartelijk en gastvrij, tips voor bezienswaardigheden. het gebouw is werkelijk prachtig en met met behoud van details heel aantrekkelijk verbouwd. Veel leuke en originele details. Ook in het Grand Cafe fijne en persoonlijke bediening, mooie kaart en lekkere wijn. Sfeervol. Thee en koffie kun je maken op de kamer.

Het enige dat ons tegenviel was de kamer (De Luxe). Donker en somber (beetje gedateerd). Er kan geen raam open, iets waar wij altijd opletten en wat in een oud gebouw meestal just dik in orde is. Ik miste een nachtkastje. Best onhandig. De badkamer is niet verwarmd en is koud en blijft lang vochtig.

Lovely property as long as you are not put in the basement. Good breakfast and nice staff.

Location. Great breakfast and Grand cafe is lovely.

When I booked the description was a converted post office. We were put in a newer addition and basically in the basement. Also, when I asked about the gym was told only open for personal training sessions. A sign also said they offered messages and I was told not now.

Overall a really nice hotel that I would most likely come back to on a private trip.

The room was nicely designed and the bed was comfortably and over all nice and clean. The small issue that maybe was a little annoying was the location of the room. Right next to the service entrance where trucks started arriving at 06.46 am and yelling good morning RIGHT outside my window at street level.

Parking. That has to be explained better in the advert that parking is a 10 minutes walk from the hotel. And you have to use a public charging station for your electrical car.

In general, a very nice place to stay, but the toilet sewer can be better

beautiful facilities and nice decorations’ especially a leisure room in front of lobby, people can drink and play chess, board games there, super cozy in winter.
