We absolutely loved the location - right in the centre of the marina and Bonifacio is an amazing place to visit! The outside areas were beautiful including the pool area overlooking the fort and the lovely shady breakfast area. The room was very comfortable. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
Some of the shared internal areas needed modernisation and the decor in the corridors is eccentric, but that is not a deal breaker. The only other annoyance was that the pool bar only serves fruit juices, not beers/wine/cocktails. To have a drink by the pool, you need to go up a flight of stairs, walk the length of the hotel, then down more stairs to eventually get to the internal bar, then wait and take it back yourself. Bit of a mission. Otherwise, a lovely place in an amazing place.

Our junior suite had an extraordinary view over Bonifacio Harbour, with a stunning view of the Citadel and old town, this is a beautiful hotel. Large pool with a view of the harbour and old town and beautifully refurbished rooms and bathrooms I can not recommend this hotel enough. Staff very helpful. Free on site parking in a place where parking is a nightmare. Beautiful breakfast terrace. Be sure to book a room with a view.

located in the quiet part of the port. friendly and helpful staff. private parking.

Perfect location overlooking the port & just far enough away so not to be disturbed by late night revelers on the side of the port. Staff were polite & friendly. Breakfast & bar setting, over looking the port, was a delight. Free on site parking.

Location, parking and the great bartender names Nino!
This hotel had the worst management of any
booking.com property I have been to in 8 years. The manager accused me of blackmail when I asked for a discount because my shower did not drain properly. He also accused me of editing photographs of the shower overfilling. Who edits a picture of a shower overfilling for a $50 discount? The management clearly thinks the customer is always wrong. They tried to offer me a $10 breakfast as a courtesy but I had already eaten. I just wanted a fair discount for a shower that did not properly work. Not much to ask for in a room that cost $500.
Their emailed response below says it all:
We have taken good note of your complaint concerning your stay from 7 au 9 soit deux nuits chambre 410
. You have indeed complained about the slow flow of the shower drain, to our receptionist. We replied that the hotel had just reopened, the equipment was not damaged, because it had just been checked. At this time, you have not taken anyone to your room to see the problem, your video can be generated by many means which we have the sad habit of justifying requests for discounts, rebates, etc., which are similar to extortion, or blackmail. Admittedly, you filmed yourself during this complaint, which proves a premeditation in the request, because who, when they have to manage a minor inconvenience, thinks honnestly of taking out their phone to do so? you have enjoyed the new room, the view, the various facilities of a quality establishment, and the slowness of your first shower cannot generate such complaints. These recent practices of blackmailing the discount under penalty of recourse to social networks or others are sadly deplorable and lead a sad weak honesty clientele to try everything to be reimbursed for the stay in one way or another. So we oppose a firm and categorical refusal, because this type of clientele, or friends recommended by them are only a source of problems.

The location was ideal.
it was not too clean and the noise at night frame the nearby disco was very loud.

decor in room was a bit weird and the design with an “open” bathroom area was also strange

I liked this place. At the risk of sounding snobbish but I’m old and I’ve earned it. I never look at a hotel under 4 stars. But I have to say this was better than many 4 stars I’ve stayed. And I can’t give enough praise to the entire staff. Pleasant, charming, efficient and funny. Loved it all.
