The property has a fantastic outdoor space with outstanding views and well-appointed amenities. Clean, well-equipped villa with helpful hosts. Perfect for families and groups looking for a relaxing holiday.

Photos are out of date. Lovely outdoor space. Main bedroom delightful, other bedrooms smaller. No jacuzzi. It’s a Sa bath and not enough hot water to fill it. Dining chairs and egg chair dirty - end of season. Paid for pool heating but it only ever got up to 28. Well equipped but no sharp knives for food preparation. Ping pong balls unplayable - too old. 2 very nice hammocks.

Brilliant property and holiday! The villa is very well appointed, particular highlights are the outside space with 8 sunbeds, 2 hammocks, a hanging chair, dining table/chairs for 8 and 2 other separate sitting areas. On the upper terraces there are also further sun beds and sitting areas, all of which take in the spectacular uninterrupted view of Kalkan, the pictures don't do it justice!
The villa was clean and had everything we needed, including air-conditioning in the bedrooms and lounge/kitchen area, good wifi, and a water cooler which was amazing with the heat.
The walk into town in the evening takes 10-15 minutes with children (ages 8-11) depending on where you are going. Taxis are the best way home, as it's a steep walk, but they were plentiful and cheap at a 90 lira set price.
Joanna was very helpful with additional bits of information and responded very quickly to any emails. The manager of the property in Kalkan was also very good and can organise almost anything you need!!

We had a really wonderful stay at Villa Sapphire. The location of the villa is further up the hill but this gives for a fantastic view. Plus its only a 10 - 15 min walk into the old town, which we did every night (with kids aged 8-11) and just got taxis home (aprox £3).
The villa had everything we needed for two families and the pool was outstanding. I also thought the added touches of hammocks and an egg chair gave it an extra special holiday feel. The kids loved the ping pong table and the varied TV options! The fridge was stocked with fruit, juices bread and butter etc which was very welcomed. I would pack a few dishwasher and washing machine tabs to bring, as it's pointless buying a whole load out there for a week stay. Supermarkets are all close by. As is a chemist and doctors.
I recommend hiring a boat for the day, booked in advance. And so many amazing restaurants to eat at. We particularly loved the terrace restaurants that had great views. We also visited the market. The kids loved the cheap branded trainers and t shirts. I loved the Turkish pancakes!
Kalkan is so vibrant and we loved our first trip there. Thanks to Joanna, Yusuf and the team.

The property surpassed all expectations. The view was unbelievable. The villa itself could not be faulted in terms of cleanliness and amenities. The host Joanna was extremely helpful and responded to our queries very quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone as they would not be disappointed.

We have just returned from a 2 week stay in Villa Sapphire and have had the most fantastic time! The villa is gorgeous with such a stunning view that you could sit and look at all day! It is very well equipped and well-kept. The owner Joanna is great and as soon as we booked the stay through owners direct e-mailed us and phoned to arrange transfers from the airport (at a very reasonable price) and reminded us about visa's etc. Also gave advice on the local area. Yusuf, the manager was brilliant and responded to texts immediately - nothing too much trouble.
During our stay we visited sunken city, hired a private boat, went white water rafting, had a Turkish massage and ate in many restaurants which were all fantastic - did not have one bad meal! Kalkan centre is about 10 minutes walk from the villa. Overall a fantastic holiday and I highly recommend it.

Villa Sapphire is the perfect base for a terrific holiday in Kalkan. The Villa is just a short walk from a very exciting town with lots of exciting bars, restaurants, shops and activities ready to be experienced. The focal point of the Villa is the lovely pool where you can relax and enjoy the Sun and the wonderful views.

The villa has been fantastic, exceptional value for money when we actually work out just how much time we have spent literally at the villa. So much to do, weather has been superb everyday with the outdoor area at the villa perfect for taking full advantage with its so many sun and shade areas allowing each person to do as they please. Whether lying on a sun bed in the constant all day long sunshine, sitting at the many shaded table areas or chilling reading book on the hammocks (like having two it saves the squabbling).
Then there is the infinity pool with its fantastic views even better.
Been here almost two weeks (flown by) and I still enjoy the simple task of swimming to the front of the infinity pool and just admiring the stunning views.
I am so sorry to have to tell you this, but I didn't think your villa could be beaten as our No.1 favourite thing on holiday, but I'm affraid to say it has. Kalkan old town with its shops, bars and restaurants is a pure delight. Heading down each evening and deciding which fantastic restaurant to eat at tonight has been the best part of the holiday by miles. The people are all friendly and speak very good English (good job as my Turkish requires more practise, something I intend to come back and work on), the food superb and so many excellent choices for all the variations a young family need.
We had trips out to Oludeniz, Gocek and Kas, none of them are even remotely close to Kalkan Old Town in character or choice, we now realise that the best place we visited is a £2.50 taxi ride away from the villa. Next time, airport transfers and taxi's, who needs a hire car when the best around is right in front of your eyes... Literally.
Yusuf is fantastic, round most days always checking if we have everything we need, always happy to help, again it's the little things that make it special.
Normally whilst you don't want the holiday to end it's also nice to go home, but I honestly think we could stay here. You have a fantastic villa, with outrageous views of Kalkan bay, best place we have been lucky enough to visit. Not a single sight of trouble, everyone is so pleased to see you and incredibly helpful. The food is incredible and sunshine perfect.
Would we come back to Turkey... Absolutely. Would we come back to your villa and Kalkan.. Definitely. Just a massive thank you for sharing your perfect holiday home and Kalkan with us.

Villa Saphire is simply beautiful. From the location to the view and everything in between it really can't be faulted. The interior and exterior is quite luxurious and is the perfect place to put your feet up and relax. The town of Kalkan is full of excellent shops and restaurants and there is lots to do in the surrounding areas so it is worthwhile leaving the pool for a little while!

I'd never been to Turkey before but I had such a lovely stay in Kalkan at the villa! The town is so picturesque and has many nice restaurants and plenty of things to do. The views out to sea from the villa were amazing! The villa was really spacious, modern and clean and had such a lovely pool. Thanks for a great holiday- such a lovely place to stay!

From the second you walk through the gate and your breath is taken away, the villa does not disappoint! Such a beautiful setting and luxurious surroundings. We had the most relaxed week lounging by the amazing infinity pool, lunching on the patio in the shade and enjoying our late afternoon Pimms! The Beautiful town of Kalkan also doesn't disappoint with over 200 rooftop restaurants, every night a delight with amazing cuisine! The villa was cleaned to a very high standard and we were taken well care of by the resort manager.I would urge everyone to go, it's just delightful!

I stayed in Villa Sapphire last week, and wish I was still there more than anything! I was blown away by the views from the Villa as soon as we arrived. Kalkan is a wonderful place to go on holiday, with countless places to eat out, friendly people and of course being by the sea. The Villa itself is beautifully done up, it is modern, understated however incredibly luxurious and impeccably clean and tidy. I felt like I was staying in paradise during my time there and would recommend this villa to anyone looking for a glamorous and fun holiday. You could happily spend all of your time at the villa, due to the jaquoozy on the roof terrace or just laying by the pool, but with so much to do around you and everything being such great value for money you can also be kept very busy! It is a perfect holiday destination for all. Thank you!

Stayed at villa sapphire with a group of girls from uni and had an amazing week. The views from the villa were absolutely stunning and you look over the infinity pool to the sea and islands. The villa itself is extremely spacious and finished to a very high standard. The hot tub overlooks the town and the sea and is definitely a highlight!
It was my first time visiting Kalkan and I would definitely go back. There is such a wide choice of restaurants and bars which are all extremely reasonably priced, we couldn't believe how cheap it was. I would definitely recommend doing a boat trip, we were out on the water from 10-5 with lunch included. We even got to see the turtles.
I would highly recommend villa sapphire and can't wait to visit again.

We had a wonderful stay in the villa. It is beautifully furnished and views are incredible. Plus it was only a ten minute walk from the town and the beach. I would highly recommend staying here.

We stayed here at the beginning of June 2015 and had a wonderful time in Kalkan. The views from the villa were extremely impressive and the villa itself was refurbished to a very high standard with modern facilities and plenty of space for a group of friends or a large family. The pool was large and very clean and there was also a lovely area to sit outside in for breakfast etc. The Villa is only about 10/15 minutes from the town which has an array of lovely restaurants and shops and also offered great excursions and boat trips.
Overall, we had a great time here and would definitely like to come again!

We stayed for a week in May the weather was 28 degrees all week perfect. Villa Sapphire is immaculate it has recently been refurbished to a very high standard. The views from the bedrooms and the roof terrace were spectacular. We spent a lovely evening in the hot tub on the roof terrace as the sun set. We went on 2 boat trips from the harbour which were great value from 10am -5pm including lunch.
You can walk into the town where there are lots of shops restaurants to choose from. There is also great market on a Thursday in the town.

I stayed here in August-September 2014. The villa is great! Good size, good location and lovely inside!Perfect for a family or group holiday! The views over the bay are amazing. Its an easy walk into town where there a numerous restaurants, shops and bars.
There are lots of other attractions nearby if you're not one for just sunbathing, we went to the Sakliant Canyon - which was a really fun day out. There is so much else you can do!
We hired a car which meant we could get to the nearby beach to do some kite-surfing. Its not essential though the local taxi's are cheap
Overall had a wonderful stay and cannot wait to go back!

We travelled to villa sapphire for an 8 day holiday and had an amazing time there with friends. The location gives fantastic views out across the bay and you never tire of laying around the pool looking at the turquoise sea. The pool is beautiful amid spacious surroundings with hammocks and loads of sun beds. The villa itself is well appointed and spacious with air con in all rooms and lovely sea views . This was our first trip to Kalkan and we loved it and will definitely return again. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.

Our group of 8 (aged 18-40) stayed at Villa Sapphire for ten days from September 1st 2014.
We booked a taxi online a couple of nights before arrival, and it was easy to find just outside the airport. The ride was approximately an hour and a half to Kalkan, however after taking in the variety of landscapes & a pit stop for some local Çay (tea), it seemed more like an hour.
I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived in Kalkan. I found myself on a steep cobbled street lined with pastel houses, synonymous with streets in Sorrento or Napoli!
The view from the villa is magnificent on the first day, and magnificent on the tenth. If you are looking for a place with a view, you've found it. I'm not one who likes to spend their entire holiday by the pool, but I could happily do it here.
The villa is spacious and bright. We really liked the open space on the ground floor surrounding the pool, and had some fun games of pool volleyball. For snoozing or reading a book, there're two roof terraces, two shaded hammocks, a few bean bags and a shaded balcony.
We had fresh bread (1 lira / 30p) and juice every morning from the local shop a few doors down. There's also a fresh fruit and veg shop a 5 minute walk away.
Days out included a wonderful boat ride out to sea with lunch (see The Trip to Italy, BBC for an idea); walking through the magnificent Saklikent Gorge (then tubing back via the rapids!); historic tour of local ruins in an open top jeep; inflatable sofas attached to a speed boats at one of the beach clubs; kite surfing; and more!
Overall a brilliant holiday enjoyed by everyone.

The Villa was terrific - very spacious, comfortable, and clean the photos don't do it justice. Pool was large and with great panoramic views of Kalkan and the surrounding area. We would definately look to return. Perfect place for either a family getaway as it is close to the beach/shops/restaurants (Just a 10 minute walk). Or for friends holiday away as is close to bars etc. Really enjoyed the holiday and would definately look to return this summer.

The views from the terrace are simply stunning - over the bay, with a small island in the blue, blue sea. The villa is well equipped with everything you need and comfortably furnished, and a lovely man comes every day to sweep the terrace, put up the umbrellas and clean the pool. Even in September it was so hot we were glad of the air conditioning indoors! There are lots of shops and cafes in Kalkan, and beautiful beaches nearby, but you could quite happily lounge by the pool and take in the view while sipping on a cold drink for hours at a time.
