Great choice of breakfast and everything tasted delicious, especially the local apple juice and croissants.
It was in a beautiful setting, but if being picky, the pool was smaller than expected - more like a plunge pool.

Absolutely beautiful place, in a quiet street of Honfleur, at walking distance from center and beach. Picturesque, with all the white roses. We loved the breakfast on the terrace and the kindness of our hosts

Quaint, beautiful, peaceful French country cottage.
10 minute walk to Honfleur port area of shops and restaurants. Owners made you feel comfortable and very welcome. Great recommendations for dinners.
The property is amazing, the rooms are nicely appointed but like most cottages, there is no AC.
We were fine with the window open

close to town but in a quiet area
pool is a small countercurrent one and the heating was not working

Breakfast good and ready for me each morning - would have liked a little more flexibility.
Location was good and on-site parking a plus, but could be tricky accessing town on foot for anyone with mobility problems: steep hills, uneven paving and no proper pavement.
Nice garden surrounding property
Excellent shower
Room could have done with more light as it was quite a dark room.
No tissue box provided

The accommodation was absolutely charming and suited us for a one night stop-over, although the room was very small. The owners were extremely pleasant when we met them the following morning. They were not available on our arrival but had given us the details on how to access the property and the room because we arrived VERY late after arriving on Brittany Ferries late that evening in Ouistreham. The breakfast was excellent and a relaxing start to a very long day's driving which was ahead of us.
Actually finding the property, late at night and in the dark, in our own car, was a nightmare and we nearly ended up staying somewhere else. The owner told us the following morning that if we had phoned him he would have taken our call and helped us find the guest house but it had appeared from all our booking arrangements that this would not be the case. Our very modern SatNav could not find the property or its location. The PostCode was for the centre of Honfleur which was useless. We were not used to using our smartphones and maps for finding locations and destinations but, over an hour and half of desperation, became very familiar with them! It is essential that this accommodation and the booking arrangements carry very clear maps and directions, either from the centre of Honfleur and/or from the direction of the Ferry Port near Caen. The Guesthouse also needs a sign on the other side of the entrance because, in the dark, we drove straight past it and only after help from a nearby hotel where we we able to approach the Guesthouse in the opposite direction and see the large illuminated sign. The accomodation is on a very narrow road and was not know by anyone in the bars in Honfleur who had tried to help us find the location. Our navigation skills have now improved; but so should the directions for finding this somewhat remote guesthouse for guests arriving in the dark and late at night as is the case from people arriving on a later Brittany Ferries crossing. The price was very high in my opinion, especially as we were only staying for one night and were unable to spend any time in Honfleur the next morning.

Builders working on site. Hot tub not hot
Owners were on holiday leaving one part time
Staff. Other room s occupied by 3 car loads of revellers playing loud music late at night and no staff to control them
