Mooie plek, gezellig hotel met schone kamers. Parkeren gratis.
Jammer dat het restaurant dicht was.

L’emplacement, le petit déjeuner, la gentillesse du personnel et surtout l’hôtel dans son ensemble. Séjour vraiment agréable.
Rien. Il manque juste un spa pour atteindre la perfection

They had everything we needed and the staff were very pleasant. The terrace and grounds looked lovely but it was raining so we couldn’t take advantage of it. The breakfast was excellent.

Impeccably style hotel positioned next to the Tarn River.

Loved the location and the feeling of the hotel. Great facilities. Great staff.
4.5
Breakfast was very good, lots of home made items, individual yogurts in recyclable pots, home made jams and cakes.
There was information on different varieties of health breakfasts on the walls and tables.
The setting of the hotel is amazing- so peaceful and no sound of traffic, just water running and birds singing.
The views from the rooms was incredible, quite something to wake up to, very nicely decorated, the whole hotel is good quality.
The evening meal was excellent- the chef knows their stuff, well presented and wouldn’t be out of place in a top London restaurant. We also like the selection of canapés which came with our pre dinner drink on the terrace- a nice little touch.
All tables both on the terrace and in the restaurant were well spaced so you had privacy and couldn’t hear what others were saying.
The parking was fine, both along the side of the hotel on the road( very quite road, hardly any traffic in September when we stayed) and in the actual car park so no worry about parking after a day out.
I thoroughly recommend a stay here- you won’t be disappointed 🤗
It’s probably just me, but I found the beds a little high and not quite soft enough, but I am quite short and light! Others may have found them fine.

The location by the river is magnificent, and what a refreshing swim we had each evening. The food at evening meals in the restaurant was very good as was the wine and not overly expensive. The room overlooking the river was very comfortable and beautifully furnished, and what a view. We attended the local produce evening on the Monday where there is no menu selection, and it turned into a wonderful evening, great food and a good buzz.
We liked everything. The only problem we had was sometimes, in the afternoons, it was difficult getting a drink on the terrace, but it was the end of the season and I'm sure there's usually more staff.

the location is pittoresque and unique
very friendly and welcoming staff
our room in the upper third floor galaxy was somehow outdated - because of the photos we have expected a bit more space and view - instead we looked at the old terrace and air-con from our bed

I have written many reviews of hotels we stayed in and reviewing this hotel was the most difficult. It is a beautiful hotel beautifully located beside the river. The temperature was extreme almost 40 degrees C while we were their. We were on half board, the breakfast was very good and the dinners good. In the morning when we opened our window we were mesmerized by the speed and number of swifts flying so close that you could almost touch them as they fed their young nesting in the eaves of the hotel. Also above the gorge we could see what looked like eagles but turned out to be vultures. In the extreme heat it was ideal to use the hotel lilo's in the shade of the trees beside the river and to cool off by having a dip in the absolutely clear river amongst the trout and small fish.
While professional the management were less than friendly and gave the impression that we were a commodity. Because of the extreme heat, flies while eating were a major nuisance. It is obvious that these temperatures are not the norm as the bedroom was not air conditioned. The area is good for hiking but the extreme temperature meant that we had to curtail walking to the early morning.

Location fantastic, and hotel facilities good. Common areas lovely. Staff friendly.
No air conditioning or ventilation in room, wifi very poor. Room decor dated.

A stunning location. Hotel very clean, dinner and breakfast excellent, very health conscious but also delicious.
Rooms modern and comfortable, stocked mini bar.
Pool very well maintained and heated.
Absolutely nothing.

The location was outstanding, the best we saw in the area we were staying in. Waking up with a direct view of the gorge cliffs and river. Watching the vultures soar above us over an aperitif in the evening. The hotel is tastefully decorated and the staff are wonderful. Very helpful and we were made to feel welcome with our two dogs.

Breakfast and dinner were superb stayed here many years ago appreciated the updated communal spaces but corridors and rooms a bit tired

We were expecting the swimming pool to be open as the description on booking.com said that the pool was open all year round. Sadly, the pool was shut. We were also hoping to use the hotel's canoe on the river but alas that was also out of bounds

Better bar service. Question one-day closing mid-week. Would have preferred a two-night stay.
Closing.

Set in the gorge on the banks of the clearest river I’ve seen . The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. The foyer and lounge area seem to have had refurbishment and we’re contemporary and comfortable. There were lots of outside seating areas to enjoy
Our bedroom was on the third floor next to the lift. It had little light as tge window was small. Most of the rooms had bigger windows. The room was next to the lift shaft which was noisy in the morning. The corridor did not match the other public areas it was dated and ugly.

Fantastic location right in the gorge and beside the river tarn
Coach load of guests were noisy and did not observe wearing masks

Spacious room, great location and atmosphere
The coffee maker is not at all convenient to use due to lack of plugs that are close by.
