Nos ha encantado

El hotel es precioso. Todos son detalles. La habitación muy acogedora con estupendas vistas desde la cama.Se ve el amanecer. La cama extremadamente confortable, con sábanas y edredón de gran calidad. Un balcón en la habitación muy agradable y un bar muy práctico. El desayuno, muy rico. Por si hay dudas, nos ha encantado.

it was spacious and had a beautiful view. it was also right in the centre of the village. We locked ourselves out one night- they were wonderful.

A true gem in a charming little village in La Rioja

La Casona del Boticario is a truly wonderful place in a charming little village in the Rioja wine region. The house manages to combine modern comfort with historic charm and attention to detail. Our room was very spacious, with a comfortable bed and stunning views over the surrounding landscape. The hostess was very friendly and attentive and served a good breakfast in the morning.

The hotel is a lovely historic restored building in a very attractive hill top village. It has a lovely garden, and the room had views over the vineyards and surrounding countryside. The room was light and airy, and beautifully furnished. The buffet breakfast was excellent. The manager was charming, helpful and gave information on local places to visit.m

Enjoyed it immensely!

Breakfast was wonderful. View of the surrounding countryside spectacular, especially once you walk up to the castillo. Very nice touch to have an "honesty bar" that was well supplied. Loved their one-year-old border collie.

Great stay

We loved our stay! The hostess was very friendly and gave us good tips for dinner and parking and best of all a room with a great view all the way to the mountains and lovely balcony. Breakfast was very nice. We could have stayed longer and next time we probably will :-)

Very good

We enjoyed the village, the festivities in the square, the visit to the cathedral and castle and views over Rioja from up high. The owner was extremely helpful and did everything to make our stay enjoyable.

Absolutely brilliant!!!

Fantastic location. Such an interesting hotel, in a beautiful setting, surrounded by vineyards. Hotel owner was so welcoming and full of information. Typical Spanish village not spoilt by tourism. Wish we had more time there.

We only stayed one night so are planning to go back for longer.

fantastic balcony view!

super comfortable beds and shower! Tasty breakfast and calm atmosphere at the whole place.

We left our items unpacked on the floor when we left the room for the day trip and after getting back we saw our bags moved to another spot, some things folded nicely and put back into the bags - a lovely gesture, but… that led to us thinking we lost some of our tech stuff (recording device), so it resulted in lots of stress. Breakfast were lovely, but some extra vegetable options would be appreciated! :)

Beautiful hotel - would highly recommend.

Beautifully presented building that has been in the family for generations, lovingly restored, with a perfect melding together of old and new. The hosts are kind and attentive and clearly put a lot of heart into what they do. Breakfast is delicious and is all laid out so beautifully. We had a wonderful stay here and would recommend it highly.

The ramp down to the enclosure for motorbikes is steep and a little awkward, but options are limited in the village and it is perfectly manageable with care - and good to have a secure place to park.

Great host and good location but the room and bathroom were not that clean...

The host was very nice and helpful with everything.

The floor of the room was not that clean, it did not seem well vacumed (specially the bathroom had some hairs, a lot of mold and limescale. The toilet brush was a quite dirty and the toilet seemed loose and was moving everytime we sat on it).

Very welcoming. Very helpful. Great care about everything. Helpful with advice on where to eat. Stunning restoration of magnificent house in heart of the village. Great views and excellent facilities.

Motorcycle parking away from the house wasn't ideal but not a major issue.

Everything!!! The owner and staff were extremely attentive to us. The location is beautiful. The property is tastefully decorated. Breakfast was exceptional.
