The property is beautifully decorated, spacious, and perfect for families and friends. Well-equipped kitchen, excellent pool, and gym. Helpful host, well-maintained, and great location. Highly recommended.

An amazing two weeks. We had a group of family, and then a group of friends and it was unanimous - the perfect retreat and just what we were looking for, both in amenities and location. Close to the village and the bakery, with the train and highway close by for trips to Nice, Cannes, Monaco, and Italy. But most of the time, we were content just hanging by the pool and entertaining area. Gates for the little ones provided a level of comfort. Special shoutout to Vlasta for her responsiveness and hospitality. Highly recommended!

Our group ranged from young kids to grandparents, and it was absolutely perfect for everyone. The villa is clean and spacious, with plenty of rooms for everyone to have their own space, and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was a welcome relief after a day of exploring. The pool was also a big hit.
Communication with the host (Stephanie) was seamless, and the check-in/check-out process was incredibly easy. Vlasta was very friendly and knowledgeable of the property. We were pleasantly surprised by the lovely welcome basket upon our arrival, which added a nice touch to our stay. The house itself was extremely well-stocked with everything we needed.
The location is excellent—just a short drive (or uphill walk) to Saint Paul De Vence. It’s also close to a grocery store, bakery, and the Cagnes Sur Mer train station, which is only 15 minutes away. From there, we easily caught trains to visit various beach towns along the Riveria.
We hope to come back!

The property was exactly as described…beautiful, relaxed, spacious and perfect for a group of family and friends. We loved every minute there! One word of advice, a car is definitely needed in this area even if only for a trip to the nearest supermarket…taxis cost a fortune!

The villa is superbly situated and beautifully decorated. It is spacious, well laid out and perfect for a family. The host was hugely helpful. It was a flawless stay and highly recommended.

Beautiful property, well equipped and well appointed. Lots of space and great for a large group. Excellent pool and the gym was a useful addition. Good location. 15?mins walk up the (steep) hill to St Paul (good work out) and short drive/taxi for those less keen on walking. The only minor quibble is that the linen and towels were a little tired.

As a family we have done many villa holidays but rarely as well equipped as this one even down to the children’s toys. What a joy to actually have enough plates, cutlery etc without having to put on the dishwasher after EVERY meal. We love to cook and there were plenty of pans, serving platters and other kitchen equipment. Beautiful terrace just outside the kitchen for al fresco dining. Pre-arrival Stephanie replied promptly to the couple of messages I sent and on arrival Vlasta was so helpful and informative. Lovely bonus to have a mid week clean too. The ONLY couple of niggles was that the pool is described as heated but it wasn’t and whilst it didnt deter us from having fun it was a bit too chilly. Also a couple more sunloungers would have been handy. And from a safety point very surprised there were no plastic glasses for use by the pool. We bought some and left them for the next guests. As I say just a couple of niggles but far out-weighed by the good points of the villa.

Perfect property for a family holiday. Spacious accommodation, brilliant pool/entertainment area which was well secured and a great location if you are happy to spend your time around the pool and visit the beautiful town of St Paul de Vence

Lovely house 20 min walk from St Paul de Vence. Authentic atmosphere. Everything was superbly well organized - we were welcomed and showed around at arrival, and the house fully prepared for every need - from charcoals for the barbecue, to champagne and fresh juice at arrival.
The house was everything we expected and more!

We really enjoyed our vacation and the property owner and manager made the experience easy. Highly recommend organizing a meal catered by the property manager. Villa is located very close to shops and you can walk up the steep hill to the famous town.

Great villa in lovely surroundings
Three generations (11 people, ages 3 to 80) spent two weeks in this wonderful and tastefully decorated villa. The house manager Vlasta was amazing, easy to reach and helpful in any way she could be; through her, Stefanie was also a very thoughtful host. Cleaners came in twice a week for some maintenance cleaning, which was very nice.
The grounds and swimming pool are gorgeous and perfectly maintained. We have never had such a well-equipped kitchen in a holiday home, with more than enough of everything to suit such a large group of people who enjoy cooking and eating together. The beds were comfortable, the AC was modern (so no blasts of arctic air in the night and temp regulation in each bedroom), there were lots of places either to gather in or to find privacy, both in- and outdoors. There was a playroom/gym, with lots of fun things for all ages, and plenty of toys at the pool.
Having two toddlers made us really appreciate the safety features, like the built-in gates on all the outdoor staircases (as well as on both spiral staircases indoors) and the fenced-in pool.
This is not a negative point or criticism, but only information for those for whom this might be important: this house involves a lot of stairs. It is described as a ‘typical Provençal house’. This was our first trip to the area, so we had no idea what this meant (we thought it meant the stucco and the shutters). The house has three (and a half) levels and has a steep and winding driveway; the pool is half way down it from the house. One bedroom is on the main level, three are in the wing beyond that, down ~6 steps (toilet and shower easily accessible). The master bedroom (upper level) is up a fairly easy staircase; one bedroom (lower level) is reached via a steep spiral staircase. This room (like all the main-level bedrooms) can also be entered from the outside where stairs are wide and shallow, if the indoor stairs are too daunting. The gym/play room is also reached either via a steep winding staircase or, again, from outside. For most of us, we tried to look at the walking as good exercise, so that we didn’t even have to use the treadmill!
The main points remain: the house and property were beautiful, clean, well-maintained, spacious and comfortable. Vlasta was there on the spot to help, but Stefanie was also in touch with us whenever necessary. Both were very gracious, kind and helpful. We highly recommend a stay at Le Falevinier.

Fabulous retreat

Beautiful Villa in ST-Paul-de-Vence
The Villa is spacious, well maintained and well equipped, and has beautiful grounds and views. It is a 20 minute walk to the lovely walled village of St Paul de Vence, but it is a very steep walk and not for the faint of heart. We had 11 in our party and the villa was perfect. The bedrooms and bathrooms are comfortable and tastefully appointed. We had chefs prepare 3 meals for the group and the kitchen and outdoor dining on the patio was perfect. This was a very special and beautiful place for a large family holiday!

Great place, 20 minutes into the hills from Nice
Big bedrooms, nice bathrooms, full kitchen, full size washer and dryer,
beautiful pool area. Supermarket 5 minutes away, 10 minutes to the train station in Cagnes sur Mer. 20 minutes into the countryside outside the bustle of Nice. We were two couples spending a week together and exploring Cannes, Monaco, Antibes, Vence, Grasse, and this part of Provence. St Paul is about a mile away, uphill, so we drove when we visited there. We had a wonderful time, and this turned out to be a wonderful, peaceful place to relax and watch the sunset.

Beautiful property. Very comfortable and great for entertaining. Consumable supplies a little short in supply. House manager Vlasta was so kind and prepared a beautiful Provençal meal for us.

Beautiful Villa in a great location
We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay at this villa. It was spacious and had many rooms with a large living area inside the house and on the porch with gorgeous views. The kitchen was well equipped and designed to cater to the number of people advertised on the listing. Although the weather outside was cold as we were visiting in March the inside temperature was comfortable. There were a few issues with the electrical system and loss of power which we were notified about last minute and led to us being unable to open the gate to the villa initially but they were able to address this fairly promptly and I have to say the hosts were quite gracious. There were a few issues with lack of hot water at times for some of the bathrooms but this did not translate into a major inconvenience and occurred rarely.
The pool area is lovely and fenced off and separate from the house with its own mini bar area and this was a relief given we had young children. We couldn’t use the pool as it was too cold.
The dining room table and chairs are a bit dated. But the furniture overall was quite satisfactory and the beds were comfortable.
Most of the bedrooms had doors that would open directly to the yard which was nice and the way the house is designed is that it offers a lot of privacy and personal space should it be needed when staying with a large group.
We also appreciated having the cleaning staff come midway through our stay to clean up the kitchen and bathroom areas.
I would recommend this place again. We thank Stephanie for being agreeable and lovely in all her communication with us.

A perfect holiday
A lovely stay everything was provided for the house was clean and Vlasta who welcomed us was excellent. We were a party of 10 adults and teens. We spent our days by the lovely pool and walked up to Saint Paul for the evenings. The house is perfectly located 5 mins drive from the supermarket and close to the railway station at Cagnes-sur-Mer sur Met for day trips. We will definitely book again!

Fabulous
Le Falevinier was absolutely amazing. It's possibly the only place we have ever stayed that lived up to (and even exceeded) our expectations. The grounds and gardens are GORGEOUS, beautiful flowers and plantings. The house itself is beautiful. Very tastefully decorated, really lovely. The pool is perfect. Having dinner outside on the deck was lovely. We actually found everything to be quite kid-friendly as well, with a railing all around the balcony, and gates in front of several of the stairways. We stayed with our family and two other couples and we all had plenty of room and privacy. I recommend it highly and would love to go back!

We loved it! So relaxing, clean and spacious.
Our whole experience was just amazing! We drove up through the gates and were so pleased will how beautiful the grounds were, how welcoming, beautiful, fresh and exceptionally clean the villa was. The care takers were so helpful and kind. The pool was very nice too. The walk to town was very steep and I wouldn’t recommend it with kids so I would consider it a short drive to St. Paul. The view was beautiful and there was plenty of room and space for the family to spread our. We had the care takers cook one night and that was excellent too. We felt so lucky that we found this place and recommend to any friends. Italy and so many southern french towns are closely accessible. We hope to return some day. It was just a very special place. We were very impressed!

A truly beautiful and spacious property, presented in Provençal colours and style.
We visited the villa in late July- early August with two families consisting of people ranging from 50 to 12. Each generation enjoyed the villa equally. The patio area with views was a favourite haunt at breakfast and for evening meals. The pool is excellent with its own bar, cooking area and BBQ facilities. The gym was beautifully sited to enjoy the views while exercising and the ping pong table was also used. We enjoyed several trips up to the beautiful, historic St Paul de Vence (walkable) Nice and Antibes. We would definitely visit the villa again. Anyone staying there is guaranteed a lovely time.

5 Star in every respect !!!!!
Stand by to be amazed when you visit Villa Le Falevinier. The only thing more beautiful and impressive than the villa itself is the magnificent landscaping that surrounds it.
We were a party of six adults. Everyone enjoyed the spaciousness of the villa, the many patios and terraces, the pool area and the outdoor kitchen by the pool. The weather was much warmer than usual during our 2 week stay the first two weeks of June, so the air conditioned bedrooms were perfect.
The villa's proximity to the Village of Old Saint Paul, Nice, Cannes and Monte Carlo made it the perfect location for exploring the beauty of the French Riviera.
A special shout out to Stephanie who was our point of contact for arranging our visit, and to Sana our local contact while at the Villa. They were both fabulous to deal with !!!!

Special holiday
We stayed at the villa in June 2016 sharing it with friends and family. We all had a great time. There was plenty of space for everyone to feel relaxed. Super swimming pool, beautiful palm trees and well equipped pool area. Lots to explore in the area but you do need a car to get around and get up the hills!
Most especially, all of the people who support your stay at the villa are really very friendly and helpful.
We loved the early morning light creeping onto the terrace for breakfast and watching the sunsets sipping rose wine!
Thanks to everyone for making it a great holiday.

Perfect vacation and villa
The location of Le Falevinier is ideal. This was our home base during our recent 2 week French Riviera vacation and I have nothing bad to say about this villa - it is beautiful and looks exactly like it is presented in the photos. Ultimately, we spent several days just lounging around this beautiful villa - swimming, playing ping pong, grilling out, drinking wine, and enjoying the smell of the flowers lingering in the air in the morning air as I sipped on my espresso on one of their many private decks. There is the best grocery store I've ever been in just 5 minutes drive away (always grab a fresh warm baguette), and the St Paul de Vence medieval village on your backdoor is worth several trips to fully enjoy (you can find some amazing burrata cheese to go with that baguette at a local cheese shop there). Do not miss the equally (I think better in some ways) intriguing old town in Vence only 10 minutes drive away (I recommend L'en Champs thé. Restauration - don't miss the tiramisu).
From this villa you can easily venture off to Antibes, Cannes, Haut de Cagnes, Nice, Villefranche, Monaco, Menton, Italy, and many other amazing locations - all less than an hour away (most are less than a 30 minute drive from the villa, depending on traffic). I plan on returning to this villa soon. There is a reason why this property is so well reviewed. Book early and enjoy the vacation of your dreams.

cycling holiday at La Falevinier
We had a wonderful week at this lovely and spacious home. Plenty of room for all 12 of us. The outside spaces are particularly appealing - we just needed more time to use them all. The home is well-built and decorated - very tidy and organized. The location, just a 15 minute walk from St. Paul, was perfect for our daily jaunts to the nearby towns. The housekeeper cooked for us several times, which was an enjoyable respite from the rush of heading out to dinner. And the terrace provides the perfect setting for an al fresco dinner. I heartily recommend this property, and all of the delights of the region.

Our stay at Le Falevinier
Our family had a lovely stay at Le Falevinier for a week. The house was nicely decorated, well equipped including the kitchen. We think it would be good place for a shared party e.g. a couple of families, as there is plenty of space to spend time together or apart. The location was good, with good views of the hills opposite, quiet but near the hubbub of the Cote D ‘Azur. It’s a short walk (15-20 mins – uphill, steep in places) to centre of St Paul de Vence, which was a nice place to hang out with bars, cafes, restaurants, shops and lots of art. We caught a bus from St Paul to the train station and spent a day in Monaco. The train line also connects with Cannes and Nice and various beaches on the way. The E.Leclerc hypermarche is near, walkable if you want and even open for a few hours on Sunday. On our first day we arrived late on Saturday, but luckily took up the stress-free offer to have some food prepared for us for that evening. We can see why people come back here!

Beautiful, functional villa
We have rented this property 3 times now, and every time we love it more. The location, the grounds, the layout of the house and its functionality, the setting and the closeness to the airport and St. Paul village, make it very attractive and desirable. The staff is friendly and nice and the owner very responsive and communicative. I would definitely recommend this property to friends (in fact, we brought several of our friends with us this last time, and they were equally delighted!) We walked up to St. Paul village and enjoyed a number of the good restaurants there, including the famous Colombe d'Or. The Fondacion Meght is within walking distance (for those who enjoy a hike) and always has some new exhibits in addition to the Miro and Giaccometti works. The supermarket Le Clerc is close as are a well supplied bakery and green grocer with a a great variety of fruits and vegetables, for those who like to cook. By the pool is a well equipped small outdoor kitchen and a barbecue, so one can spend time by the pool without running up to the house for snacks and refreshments. It is great, whether you come with adults or with children.

An idyllic house in a beautiful location
This was the second time that we had spent a week in Le Falevenier and it delighted us yet again. Beautiful location and the house welcomes you right away with its wonderful gardens and a terrace that provides wonderful views to the surrounding hills. Highly recommend this for a family or extended family vacation - in fact some friends are planning on a trip in 2015. We will be back!

Perfect holiday
12 of us coming and going long time friends spent 3 weeks at Le Falevinier. The stay was absolutely perfect, so much so that we were reluctant to leave the villa on some days. We produced delicious meals every night and never had a day without a swim and walks to the. Villages, enjoying St Pail de Vence as much as Colle sur Loup. To our delightful surprise we were able to use the 400 bus to travel to and from Nice, avoiding traffic and parking hassles. This coulda become a very long review of all our delights with the house but instead I suggest you read all the reviews below. We depended on these reviews in our selection of this villa and all proved true. But we did master the car turn around eventually.

Rustic & serene, functional with modern amenities
This was a reprise for us and we enjoyed it even more, for full 2 weeks. I love the layout of the house and the property grounds. I especially loved the sunny kitchen - not too large but functionally equipped and bright - a real joy to cook! The proximity ( walking distance) to the old town of St..Paul de Vence is a bonus. Everything is close by, minutes away by car: great bakery, 2 supermarkets, the beach. The pool is away from the house and has a fully equipped outside kitchen, so one can eat lunch by the pool. The care taker and the twin sister house keepers are friendly and helpful. Overall, a wonderful experience worth repeating every year!

Perfect Private Provence
My husband and I spent 2 weeks at La Falevinier with our two small boys (1 and 2). We were delighted by the location, super central and perfect for day-trips both inland and to the coast, by the privacy -- literally no one can see to the pool, by the understated attention to child safety (you'd never look at the house and think "child proofed" but it is) and comfortable living. The villa is clean, tastefully appointed and offers a vast amount of outdoor space and seating options throughout the property. The caretakers and concierge services were super; we were provided a yoga instructor, a private chef, grocery shopping and babysitting services. The house is perfect for a smaller family needing breathing space, and/or would comfortably accommodate a large group with 6 bedrooms (one is a single bed but there's room for an additional blow-up mattress). We would definitely return and would highly recommend the property, the responsive owners and the thoughtful caretakers. Thanks very much for the opportunity to stay at your wonderful oasis.

Lovely villa
We had a lovely time at Le Falevinier and the villa was as good as we had hoped for. It is very spacious, the bedrooms and bathrooms very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen extremely well equipped. It is wonderfully quiet and peaceful and in an area which we thoroughly enjoyed exploring, with a plethora of interesting little towns.
The terraces provided lovely views and plenty of room for dining outside. The pool area was very pretty and relaxing and the pool itself well maintained and clean. All the staff were extremely efficient and pleasant and solved any problems they could.
Would like to mention Vence, which we particularly enjoyed for its lovely old town, its Friday clothes market and wonderful selection of produce in the local shops, especially good fish shop. Also some good restaurants.
We would highly recommend this villa all round.

A real gem!
Le Falevinier offered everything we hoped for and more. It has easy access to major roads and thus to all attractions. It is within walking distance of the beautiful perched town of St. Paul. The grounds are beautifully maintaines, the pool area enjoyable and away from the house , well secured (important when vacationing with little children). The house itself is very functional, spacious, comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen and great bathrooms. The rustic, Provencial style is expertly combined with modern comfort. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely book it again in the future.

Great villa with lovely gardens near St Paul
Even though we were on a work trip we had a great time at this villa. There was plenty of space for the 7 of us and the layout of the house and garden allows for privacy when you need it. I especially loved the pool/bbq area. There is very well equipped kitchen by the pool with I thought was great!
The nearby village of St Paul-de-Vence is beautiful and filled with the most intriguing and interesting art galleries.
Our cleaner offered to make us a home-made French meal on one of the nights and this was definitely one of the highlights of the stay!
4.0
This property was excellent for a week's family holiday and ideal for the three generations who were there with plenty of space for all to be together or find a quieter moment. The property was well described so there were no hidden surprises and with the bedroom layout as such worked for both the family units and old and young.
The different levels in the garden areas are interesting but 'kept one fit'!! Improved vehicle turn round space would help.
The property is well maintained and equipped and the staff
were all friendly and helpful with the baby sitter proving invaluable for us. The owner provided great 'customer service' and we would have no hesitation in recommending this property to others wishing to explore this region.
