Great overnight or longer in Bayonne 😊👍

Fabulous location and bike stored downstairs Didn’t realize it was an apartment and well equiped which made breakfast easy I was on my own but for 2 people it was excellent value The welcome at the ice cream shop by owners daughter perfect and she returned early the next morning for my departure

Good place to stay overnight to go to and from the train station.

Clean room, good shower, small kitchenette and good amount of space. Walkable distance from the station. Centrally located in the center of the old town. Gracious, helpful host.

No elevator to first floor but manageable to climb up the stairs with a backpack and small suitcase.

Un buen alojamiento es parte del éxito y agrado de un viaje. Nos encantó Bayona.

Todo. Pero especialmente la amabilidad y generosidad de Michel que nos instaló en un departamento mejor del que habíamos elegido. Y me encantó conocer una casa tan antigua por dentro!

El trato de Míchel (persona que regenta la residencia) muy bien, bien ubicado y las instalaciones de 10!

Estuvimos en la primera planta y se les escuchaba un poco a los vecinos de arriba anda, por suerte a las 10pm ya no hacían ruido, estaría bien tener un horario de ruidos.

Situación inmejorable. En pleno casco antiguo de Bayona, en la calle principal.

La ubicación es inmejorable. La cocina estaba muy bien equipada, nueva y con gusto.

Perfect position for visiting the town and restaurants. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Great host who was really helpful.

A bit noisy due to the old building and wooden floors.

Beautiful and cozy apartment right in the center!

Michel was really welcoming and received us very well. The apartment had everything we needed and even more (it even had a great AC) - the location of it was incredible and very clean. Strongly recommend.

Excellent accommodation for historic Bayonne

The Host was most welcoming and affable. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, modern, spacious, well appointed with good quality bedding and towels. Central location to the historic centre of Bayonne. Good range of restaurants and shops nearby. Our bicycles were stored safely overnight.

Location was great

Car parking was a pay system 11.40 euros p day and 500 m away from accommodation. Bags needed to trundled . Above a waffle ice cream parlour. WIFI was extremely poor. Ceiling above shower was dripping after rain all night . Maintenance needs to be done .

Great location in the historical centre

The location is excellent situated in the historical centre. The apartment was quiet at night. The owner came when we queried the remote and WIFI connection.

Just clarifying a couple of things listed on their information. Parking stated but was 11.40 euros p/day and not close to the apartment which was understandable as the apartment was in a pedestrian area. We had no problem paying for parking but it needs to be clearly articulated where it is and cost No remote control for the aircon was left in the apartment, we didn’t need it but we’re surprised it wasn’t available until we asked. We understand this is due to the high cost of electricity so the remotes are removed at this time. WIFI didn’t work at all the first day of our stay and really only available on the ground or first floor. The roof or a pipe was leaking and water dripped through a light fitting onto the shower floor all of the second night of our stay. We left early so we were unable to let the owners know as they are not on site

Centrally located, nice apartment - we had wifi problems

Central location in pedestrian area, parking nearby, friendly and functional one-room-apartment, nice style, comfy bed, friendly and relaxed host

Nice and fine for one night, but for a longer stay we would not recommend it which is a pity: Wifi was very bad during our stay, so we had to use our mobile data Bathroom has a sliding door which does not close the whole dooropening which is ‚soundwise‘ a bit embarassing when traveling with a second person Impossible to close the external streetlights out for the night, not ideal if you prefer sleeping in a dark room

This accommodation is well priced for location and comfort. The host is accommodating.

The room was quite spacious with ample room for suitcases and personal items. The location was within walking distance to sights and restaurants.

The room could have had a fridge. Also there are stairs to access room.

In the heart of Bayonne

Excellent, convenient location and spotless apartment. Owner, Michael, was delightful and very helpful.

Mattress and pillows could have been better but main negative was that there was someone in the apartment above who was very heavy footed and woke us up just as we had gone to sleep and again early morning!

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment. The whole apartment was tidy, and seemed well cared for. The bathroom was new and clean. The location was very good. Michel was very friendly. We would repeat our stay.

It wasn't a problem for us, but a guest with limited mobility might have problems with the stairs.

Perfect location

Excellent location, quiet but with easy access to sights and restaurants etc. Clean and comfortable. Communication with the owner was excellent - very straightforward and helpful.

En suite doesn't have a proper door on it, so personally I found that a bit lacking in privacy. With the sofa bed down the living area is a bit awkward.
