The large terraced area outside the Villa has breathtaking views and looks out across the Soller valley towards the mountains. The swimming pool (9 metres by 5metres) has a terrace with sun loungers, a lawn and and a sitting area overlooking Soller town and the valley and is bathed in sunshine from 7am until 7 pm during the summer months. The famous walks and cycle routes are all on the doorstep. This fully equipped traditional majorcan villa, the gardens, and the orange and lemon groves will enchant you. Children under 8 will require supervision around the swimming pool and terraces, however both the pool and terraces are gated and securely fenced off.
Optional extras with sufficient prior arrangements include:
. Baby Sitting Service
. Pre-Order Shopping
. In House or delivered Catering
. Heating for Swimming Pool
The city of Soller with its beautiful central plaza, church, Saturday market, cafe’s, restaurants and heritage tram is a joy to come down to.
The nearest supermarket is a short walk from the villa.
Port de Sóller with its safe sandy beach, is only a 5 minute drive away. You can enjoy a stroll along the promenade with its many fine bars and restaurants. The harbour has a marina with fine yachts and an active fishing fleet.
The hillside villages of Binaraitz, Fornalutx, Deia and Valdemossa are well worth exploring, as is the monastery of Lluc.
There are regular bus services to and from the centre of Palma, with a bus stop virtually at the bottom of the lane. Alternatively one can take the traditional wooden train from Soller train station to Palma.(A real treat!)
If you are considering hiring a car, we would recommend a small to medium sized car as the roads in and around Soller can be steep and narrow, as is the road up to the Villa. The elderly or infirm might find this challenging to walk.
For the more active, it might be worth exploring Tramuntana Tours Re bike hire, fishing, sailing, hiking etc.
The Villa is very well suited for family holidays, and we often host three generations. The main terrace and veranda are fenced with guard rails. The swimming pool and upper terraces are securely gated and small children will require supervision and must be accompanied by adults in these areas.
The extensive terraces, gardens and pool are very well maintained by our caretaker who visits on a regular basis and is available if required in case of any problems.
Fast fiber optic broadband connection with wi-fi is available throughout the property and the outside areas including around the swimming pool.

The owners describe the house superbly. Well equipped, this is a very special property located in a perfect spot. Walking distance to Soller although the return is a slight challenge at the end. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and would highly recommend.

We have just returned from a relaxing weeks holiday at C’an Pons. The villa itself is set up perfectly for family of all generations and we had more than everything we needed. It was super clean and really tastefully decorated in keeping with the area (we particularly liked some of the pictures on the walls!)
The beds were all really comfortable and everything was thought of - you can tell it is used by the owners and not just a rental with no personal touch or thought to how a house works.
The most amazing aspect of the villa is the view of Soller, the gardens and the pool. I am not sure the photos quite do it justice as it really is incredible. The weather was super hot so we just spent time at the pool every day and went into Soller or Port de Soller in the evenings which are both easy to reach. We didn’t find the hill up to the property a problem.
Janneke the owner is really helpful and gave us great tips for the area. She has young grandchildren so knew what would be helpful to us with our 2 and 5 year old which was really great.
If you are looking to visit Soller I couldn’t recommend C’an Pons more.

We had a great holiday with our 3 ‘kids’ (early 20’s) plus 3 of their partners/friends. C’an Pons is fabulous, the villa is comfortable and the kitchen is really well equipped. The grounds are outstanding, beautifully kept, and always a shady or sunny spot to be found. I wish I was back there now with a cool drink sitting on the terrace watching the swifts swoop across the valley!

Very relaxing stay in a beautiful location. Nice access to surrounding towns and beaches. Wish we had a few more days to just hang out by the pool. Thank you to our hosts who were helpful in all things

We were blown away by Ca’n Pons. Amazing setting overlooking Sóller and the mountains. Beautiful gardens with fruit trees and stunning pool. Immaculately clean and well furnished. Hosts were always responsive and instructions clear. The hill up to the property is steep but we got used to it quickly.

Villa was amazing. Stunning views of Sóller and only a short walk to the town and all of the shops and restaurants. We actually enjoyed the steep walk back up the hill to the villa, especially after a big dinner. Pool was perfect size and our children spent most of their time in it. Tram ride to the Port and it’s braces was convenient and fun.

Amazing property with fabulous views and amenities. The grounds are spacious, beautifully laid out, fantastic pool. Indoors has comfortable beds, efficient air con, all amenities. Short walk (11mins down to the square) down into Soller with good restaurants, art galleries. Hill back is steep! We didn’t hire a car and managed using buses to port de Soller and Palma. Can be done, but a small powerful car will save your legs and be easier for the larger supermarket.

Our family of 5 enjoyed an incredible week at Ca'n Pons. The house and property are simply extraordinary - a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the surroundings, and a perfect base for exploring Mallorca. We spent hours by the pool and enjoyed the short walk into town and lovely hikes from the property. Picking oranges for fresh juice each morning was a real treat! From the time we made the booking through the time of our departure, the communication with the property owners was simply phenomenal (they sent us information with a thorough overview of the property, videos of nearby hikes, videos with tips for driving up to the property and checking in - we felt thoroughly prepared, which was so welcome as we were traveling to an area we had not previously visited). The owners also put us in touch with a lovely local company to arrange for some groceries and dinner on the day of our arrival. We'll remember our time here forever and hope to return one day!

Lovely old but tastefully restored villa in a lovely setting with lots of outdoor space and a nice pool. Walking distance to soller town, with lots of nice bars and restaurants. If you are looking for vegetarian or vegan food, check out organic restaurant and shop. Drive up to house from main road is narrow and steep in places but not a problem if you follow instructions from videos supplied by host .

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful well cared for house - enjoying the fabulous views and swimming in the lovely pool. The owners are so helpful and quick to respond. We would love to return.

The Villa Can Pons was provided a stunning experience. In addition to the location and the fantastic views, the house had all facilities we expected and our hosts and the caretaker Jaime really gave as all advice and support necessary to have a wonderful week. We were six adults and two small children.

This hilltop home overlooking Soller was a wonderful accommodation for 7 days for our group of 4 adults. The home has plenty of space along with air conditioning for comfortable sleeping in each bedroom. The pool area is the icing on the cake with its serene private viewing area and lounging oasis. Soller and the neighbouring Port offers many nearby sights and dining options. We also discovered some great dining options in Deia and the hills just outside of Soller. The climb up the driveway will test your driving skills but the tranquility at top is your reward.
The owners provided excellent information ahead of the stay and remained in steady contact through the week if and when questions came up. Stay here and you won’t be disappointed.

We are a party of 5 adults and 3 children under 11yrs. This is the 3rd year we have stayed at Ca'n Pons and it didn't disappoint again. The villa has stunning views over Soller while being only a 10mins walk from the centre square and its cafes, restaurants and shops. It is lovely sitting there watching the world and trams go by. The villa itself is well laid out, though we spend most of our time outside by the pool or eating on the terrace. The grounds are terraced and a beautiful backdrop for the villa. Puerto soller is only a 10mins drive, so we spent time on the beach and then back to the villa for later swims and play in the pool. The pool is excellent, with plenty of seating g and space. We used the pool everyday and swam from morning to night as the pool is beautifully lit.Communication with the owners is very good and any issues are immediately addressed, Jaime the maintenance man is very friendly and helpful. Again we have had a wonderful time making memories and already thinking to next year.

Absolutely wonderful oasis…again
Our second time at Can Pons and we hope it won’t be out last. The communication, location, cleanliness, facilities and of course views and pool are 5 star. We love being so close to Soller and yet feeling away from it all. The pool, terraces and garden and views are truly stunning. The villa and facilities are so comfortable, a home from home, where the owners have really thought of everything to make your stay so very comfortable and easy. Thank you again for a wonderful break and for sharing your beautiful home.

The villa was stunning! It was beautifully appointed inside and out. Very well stocked kitchen.
Ca’n Pons is set in the dramatic vista of the Tramuntana mountains. Sitting by the pool offers endless views including the sparrows circling to feed and drink at a nearby water store. It is everything you expect and more. Communication with our host was easy and they are very responsive and supportive through your stay. The location is close to Soller with easy access to the port and anywhere else you wish to explore by bus, car or cycling. Highly recommended for families. Big thanks to Piyush and Janneke for sharing your luvly home!

We stayed for one week in the villa in Soller. The property is exactly as described on the website - great mountain views, really big and well maintained garden, well equipped kitchen with nothing missing. The small town of Soller is only a short walk away from the villa, were you can by everything for to eat. No need to drive to Palma de Mallorca. The owners were very responsive and took care of every problem. For sure we will come back. As the driveway to the villa is very narrow, a small car is recommended.

Just wonderful!
C’an Pons is a special and romantic property, completely private, situated in its own stunning gardens and with spectacular views, all as promised by the listing. In fact it is probably more wonderful for real. It would be easy to stay ensconced for the entire holiday. The pool is truly fabulous!
The owners pay great attention to detail, everything we needed was there, and much more besides. We found the owner to be extremely helpful and communicative, and particularly liked the videos explaining how to get to and into the property. It is at the end of a slightly daunting (steep and narrow) lane but in a smallish car perfectly do-able.
We would stay again in a heartbeat!

Summer in soller
The house was even more lovely than the pictures on the website. It was so incredibly well thought out. The kitchen was really well stocked for cooking. The garden was beautiful and full of unexpected corners to sit and look at the incredible view. My favourite thing though of the whole holiday was swimming whilst looking at the mountains in front.
The owners couldn’t have been more helpful. We are definitely coming back again.

Not disappointed
We are a group of 5 adults and 3 children between ages of 5yrs to 9yrs.This was our second stay as we re-booked immediately after our first stay last year. The villa, grounds and pool were just as we remembered and we weren't disappointed. The accommodation is of a high standard and very comfortable. The pool provides stunning views as does the terrace of Soller. It is really only a 10mins walk to the square and a local supermarket where we bought fresh ensaimada every morning is only 5mins walk. The road to the villa is steep but we had no problem, the information and short video from the owners were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay so much we have already re-booked for next year.

Fantastic Villa
The photo's of this villa do not do it justice. We all had a truly amazing week at this villa and want to return some point in the future. There are so many different areas to chill out and relax with beautiful views. The kitchen is very well equipped.
Like other reviews, the drive up the lane was not the easiest, but we managed it in the 308 we hired.

Highly recommend and would come again
We were a family group of 8 - 5 adults and 3 children under 8yrs. The photos of the property don't do it justice. The villa and the grounds are beautiful - stunning. the bedrooms are large with amazing views from terraces. The bathrooms were spacious with good facilities and the kitchen with its walk-in larder worked well for preparing family meals. The swimming pool and surrounding grounds were excellent. The safety measures for younger children with gates managing access was well thought through. The square in Soller didn't take long to walk, approximately 15mins. There was ample parking but access road very narrow and steep. The owners had prepared us for this with informative video and so we felt confident. We had hired a small cars following advice and while we did initially struggle we did manage the road eventually and it wouldn't put us off from returning.

Wonderful family break
We had a wonderful 10 days at Can Pons. Everything was perfect and as described. Great communication from the Owners in terms of how to reach and access the property and checking we had everything we needed. The property and villa itself were amazing. The views and grounds are stunning and the villa is a real home from home, beautifully furnished with everything you could possibly need. We also very much appreciated the little extras - making sure we had a lovely light meal, essentials and drink to arrive to as we arrived in the evening and having a store cupboard with all essentials. As a family the pool area was brilliant and we loved spending time there, as well as picking our own oranges for breakfast juice. Location is great, a quick 15min walk into Sóller. The hill up to the villa is hard work but very much worth it for the views and you soon get used to it! We would absolutely highly recommend Can Pons so any family wanting a relaxing break with easy access to town and the rest of the island and would love to return.

Absolutely beautiful house and gardens
Beautifully restored and extended traditional Mallorcan house. Comfortable with everything you could need. Very tasteful furnishings and decoration. The property is on an elevated site which allows stunning and ever changing views over Sóller which nestles in the bowl of surrounding mountains. The outside space is extensive with beautifully planted and tended gardens. There are numerous places to sit or to dine al fresco around the grounds both in sun and shade. We loved the dining area with pergola just outside the main door. We also enjoyed watching spectacular thunderstorms from the lower dining area. Mosquito protection is essential in Sóller. Despite the steep and narrow lane up to the house you can manage to get a 7 seater up to the property if you are a careful and confident driver of larger vehicles. Very enjoyable holiday. Thank you.

Magical Hideaway
3 generations from 2 continents recently had a magical family reunion at Can Pons. The Layout of the villa was perfect. The absolute highlight was the fabulous pool, which we loved being slightly away from the house, with shade, views, loungers, pool toys for the kids, and the wonderful views for the adults!
We did discover some pantry items missing, Haman towels were provided for the adults only, and next time we would take Nespresso capsules, and mosquito spray. Wasps were abundant at dinner time in spite of the food covers provided, ...I suspect this is a seasonal problem.
Transport did prove a problem for us. We had prebooked a taxi from the airport and the driver was reluctant to take us up the hill.
Most drivers refused. We had one small car which was used for supermarket shopping to Eroski in Soller, and for helping the kids and Ladies get home from the Square.!Temperatures were high as expected and the walk home proved daunting for little and big legs.
Also beware the buses to Palma can pass by ! On the morning we chose 2 passed by our stop full. Availability of taxis sometimes took over an hour to pick us up from the petrol station . The drivers told us we were lucky it was an hour! Prebook!
We loved the little Tram to the Port and enjoyed sea and sand visits.
The whole area looks gorgeous and one day we will return to explore more.
Janneke and Jaime(the gardener) were charming and helpful with all queries, and made us very welcome.

Swimming pool, gardens, surrounding and views all of top quality.

Just what we needed.
From the moment we arrived, we realised this place was special.
Reaching the villa from the airport was an easy drive...until you to reach the hill/drive-way up to the villa.
As previous comments have mentioned - a small to medium-sized car is recommended. I had a VW Caravelle and although we managed to get it up to the villa, it was very tight! So much in fact everyone had to get out near the top as the minibus was struggling to get traction. I took it straight back to rental company and changed it for B-Class Mercedes - much easier to manage with more than enough space to manoeuvre up the hill.
The villa was clean and views are spectacular. Janneke and Piyush communication were very responsive.
Supermarkets, the port and town centre can all be reached within a 10 minute drive or less.
All I need to do is figure when we can come back next year...

A stunning location and very comfortable home.
The property is beautifully furnished and maintained. We were a group of six adults and a baby. We all had our own space and plenty of room for eating together and sitting outside on fantastic terraces. The pool area was fantastic and the pool maintained to a very high standard suitable for baby. The location is perfect for trips to Soller and lots of hiking. The access is very steep and narrow so follow the guidance that the owners provide.
3.0
The property is beautiful however not easily accessible for the less than fit
We chose this place because it seemed ideal - a beautiful setting just a short walk from the lovely town of Sóller. I did tell the owners that I was taking my elderly father when we booked but it wasn’t until a few days before that we learnt just how difficult it was going to be to get in and out of the property. Local taxis won’t drive there because the road is so steep and narrow and only small automatic hire cars are advisable. We were given the name of one really useful taxi driver - but he was often busy and the drive updefeated even him one evening. So in essence, some of our party were marooned for the week.
I must emphasise, the house is stunning and the views breathtaking. However, for families with small children or less than fit adults I would say “think twice before booking this place”.

Beautiful villa in spectacular surroundings
We arrived at the villa and were immediately greeted by the most amazing views of the Tramuntana mountains that seemed to tower above the town of Soller which nestled below us. You would be hard pushed to find a better appointed villa in more beautiful surroundings. If that wasn't enough the villa itself was spacious and well laid out with plenty of different spaces to enjoy realaxed mornings, afternoons and evenings. A particular favourite was the balcony outside Bedroom 2, where it was difficult to tear oneself away from moonlit nights and head off to bed. The pool was large and beautifully tiled which, accompanied by those views, made for a great swimming ( or just floating on a lilo ) experience. With all of the beauty outside it seemed a pity to spend any time indoors, but should you decide to relax on the sofas then the cleverly concealed TV and SONOS provide a viewing experience second to none. Janneke and Piyush were extremely quick to respond to any queries that we had and the regular visits by Jaime the caretaker were also very helpful. Mention has been made in other reviews of the drive up the narrow steep hill and Jaime's advice with regards to switching off the AC in the car definitely improved power to our engine. Worth noting that after the first couple of 'interesting' ascents the remaining drive's up were fine ( just make sure to stay well to the left when approaching the low red wall on the right as detailed in the Welcome Pack ). I'd thoroughly recommend this villa to anyone wanting to spend their time in a beautiful secluded location with good access to the lovely town below and the surrounding mountains. Would love to return again in the future.

Great location, spectacular views, beautiful pool! This was our best vacation ever!
This property was perfect for our family of 6 adults and a 3 year old. It would work great for a larger group as well (we didn’t even use the 4th bedroom). The setting was absolutely gorgeous, and the home itself was really impressive. The pool area was so nice- including a small grass area for the kids to play. There were also many beautiful terraces with fruit trees to explore. Everything was even nicer than the pictures can show. You won’t be disappointed. The walk to town took about 15 minutes. The location was perfect because it felt really secluded with great views of the city and mountains, but you can also walk to town. If we ever return to Majorca, this is where we want to stay.

Beautiful, traditional Mallorcan villa with stunning views
Spacious throughout with different seating areas to enjoy and explore. The kitchen is well equipped with utensils and there is everything you need to enjoy a day on the beach, sunbathing around the pool or chilling to watch a film or listen to music. They really have thought of everything!
It is a steep climb from the town - but only 1km into Soller and there is a regular bus service into Port de Soller which is cheap and stops at the bottom of the hill. There are two wonderful donkeys on the way down, who our children enjoyed feeding every day.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it!

Thoroughly enjoyable 2 week stay at Ca'n Pons
We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at Ca'n Pons. The property was very well maintained inside and out. The view from the pool was incredible and swimming each day was a real treat. The weather was fantastic, with unbroken sunshine for the whole 2 weeks. AC in the bedrooms meant we could sleep comfortably. Jaime the caretaker was friendly and very discrete. We staying during the World Cup and really appreciated the Satellite TV. We also made use of the SONOS system and WiFi inside and outside, which was reliable and fast enough for our family of 4, with multiple devices connected. The location is great; Palma less than 30 mins away by car and well worth a trip or two. Dramatic winding roads with breathtaking views lead from Soller through the mountains to historic and picturesque towns and villages. We ate many delicious meals in local restaurants and hiked in the beautiful Tramuntana mountains. Driving up the narrow and steep lane to the house was a bit nerve-wracking on the day we arrived, especially as we'd flown overnight and not really slept. We were glad we'd rented an automatic car. You can easily walk down the lane into Soller, which will take 10-20 mins to the central square depending how fast you walk. We did this multiple times. Walking back up to the house feels like a little bit more of a work-out, as it is quite steep in places. I would certainly recommend this property.

Magical setting and Lovely property and Facilities
We really enjoyed our stay at this villa and loved the space, privacy, pool/pool area, gardens and of course the amazing views. While only a ten minute walk into Soller, the property is located in a quiet area next to glorious walks. The short drive off the main road is up a steep and narrow track but this is the same for similar properties in the area and is well worth it for the fabulous views. The villa itself is well equipped with everything you need. The owners Piyush and Janneke were very very helpful and provided us with useful information on the surrounding walks and places to visit. I would thoroughly recommend this property which fully justifies its five star rating.

Fabulous views and the photos online don’t do the property justice!
We loved our week here, the views are fabulous, the pool is like a warm bath in July, a big bath too! The garden is delightful and full of interesting birdlife, with lots of lovely spots to sit around. The house is well appointed, no real BBQ option but we used the griddle pans a lot and always ate outside. The drive up the hill takes a bit of bravery if you have an underpowered hire car but the very friendly and very helpful caretaker’s tip of turning off the air conditioning worked! The owner was fabulously helpful at all times and we wouldn’t hesitate to go back again.

The perfect place to relax
Villa Ca'n Pons was perfect for us with amazing views meaning you hardly wanted to leave the villa to explore, or go to bed! Everything was exactly as described. It is the cleanest and best kept villa we have ever stayed in. The gardens are gorgeous, with everything tended to with care by the very friendly Jaime. Janneke was always very quick to respond to any query and helpful with local information. We really didn't want to leave!

One Word - Paradise!
There's only one way to describe this property and that's as 'paradise'. The villa itself is beautifully furnished and finished to a very high standard, however, it's the views that really catch your breath. The first moment we stood by the pool and looked down towards Soller...there was silence!
Janneke, the owner, was extremely helpful before and during our trip, answering any little questions we had very quickly. Jaime, the caretaker, was a lovely man who enjoyed chatting with us and making himself available during our stay. Graciela, the domestic assistant, who we never actually met, was also available at the end of the phone and helped me to arrange a home cooked Paella to be delivered to the villa for my family's arrival. It was such a nice little touch!
The kids loved collecting lemons and mandarins from the trees to make fruit salads or freshly squeezed juice for breakfast. The table just outside the villa, where we ate breakfast, was well-used! The views are something else.
Perhaps the only thing for improvement would be to have better wifi connectivity over at the poolside, as it is quite far from the house and it often dropped out when we were trying to stream music. Aside from that, everything was just perfect! Thanks Janneke!
