Last minute getaway for 2. The resort has easy access to beach chairs, umbrella, floats and some toys for kids. We had a great view and the condo had everything we needed. We had groceries delivered and took Ubers to dinner. The nice women at the front office even helped revive our groceries when we couldn’t make it back on time.
Will definitely recommend and will book again!

This will be a go-to place for us in the future because of the private beach experience and the quiet atmosphere.
Inside the condo it's bright, beachy, and comfy.It's on the second floor and the balcony is awesome with 6 cushioned seats, a table, and an ocean view. We loved it!
Margaret and Sue in the office were very sweet and super accommodating.They have beach umbrellas available at the rental office upon request. The pool was clean and warm.
The only constructive feedback is the big chaise lounge chairs for the beach sometimes run out. Fortunately we found two small folding chairs (near the provided pool noodles) but another couple missed out on having chairs for the beach. We think adding a few extra small folding chairs might be an easy solution.
Also, service is needed on the sliding door to the patio as it screeches significantly.
As for food, we mostly picked up from Coquina Beach Cafe. It was super cheap compared to the other restaurants around Anna Maria--and the food was actually surprisingly good (french toast, eggs, bacon, fish tacos, burgers, ice cream, drinks). There's another ice cream place up by Lazy Lobster. We wished we'd visited La Norma for a dinner out. It's an Italian restaurant with casual outdoor seating that looks/sounds like you're in Italy (fancy inside).
Can't wait to come back whenever we need a few beach days! Thanks so much!

Despite the hot weather, we had a great four day vacation. Although beach umbrellas were promised, they are very cheap and our first one broke. They are not large enough or sturdy enough. I think the association should invest in some decent umbrellas. If it is a problem of having them return, I would be willing to make a deposit, which is refundable upon leaving. Coming from a long distance away, it is impossible to bring our own. Other than that it was a great vacation, although I think the bathroom in our unit is dark and needs more lighting. also, it was impossible to open the sliding glass door onto the porch.

This was our second stay at this resort and on Longboat key. This is a small resort that we prefer with very friendly service. The pool and grounds are well maintained. Since it’s an older resort minor maintenance issues are not uncommon but remedied in a timely fashion. There is no elevator but since there are only 2 floors that hasn’t been a problem for us. We loved our location this year since we had a perfect view from our lanai of the pool and ocean. Our unit had an ice maker and dishwasher which is a plus for us. The king bed was super comfortable. We went to a couple of the local restaurants and our favorite was the Lazy Lobster. If you don’t want to eat dinner at 4 pm or 8 pm, make sure you make reservations 2 or more weeks ahead.

2nd time around for us staying at this property. We were very pleased. This property is well maintained daily. Perfectly located. Absolutely beautiful. Love the layout. Amenities(kitchen) in the unit we had this time was ok, but has room for improvement like the first unit we had a couple of years ago. Margaret was the key to our stay being very satisfying. She was always making sure we had everything we needed. She greeted us everytime with a smile. Margaret went above and beyond! Thank you Margaret! She is a keeper!

We've been coming here since 1996...never been disappointed. We enjoy the second floor looking at the Gulf so you can sit quietly on your private lanai and look over the pool to the ocean! The units are clean, fairly up to date and right on the beach. Cannons Marina is just a few hundred yards away to rent a boat, St Armands Circle is 15 min away with great shopping and the Columbia Restaurant, Key Breeze Sailing in Jack's Marina for a day of sailing and so much more... Enjoy!!

Our only complaint was the pool was closed, and our room wasn’t the cleanest. There were nail clippings on the night stand. After failing to book online in time, we showed up on Longboat Key with the hopes of being able to just walk in. Margaret was along at the desk, and it was raining, but she gladly got up, handed my wife a towel, and walked us to three separate units to tour. When I worried about leaving wet footprints in the ones we didn't choose, she said "no worries" and said she'd have housekeeping touch up after us. She was VERY accommodating. The unit we chose was very clean and had a wonderful view over the pool and to the ocean beyond. While the lighting available in the living room and bathroom was very dim (new-appearing fixtures but not much light coming out of them), we could make up for it by spending time at the very pleasant pool (some floats provided), on the beach, or on the very large screened porch. If/when we return to Longboat Key, I'm sure we'll stay here again!

This is the very best place to stay on any beachin FL. The beach view as soon as you walk into the room is stunning. The room was clean, conveniently located and stocked with the right amount of towels, amenities for the first night. We ran to the Publix a few miles down the road and got coffee, cream and a few snacks. The kitchen has plates and cookware. Beach chairs, umbrellas and floats were available for use. It's like having your own private beach. My husband and I enjoyed this stay very much and will be back a lot!

From the start it was about 30 min from the Sarasota airport. The ladies in the office were super friendly. Our room was very clean and nice had every thing we needed. A beautiful view of the ocean. Clean and nice . . . Just missing bed linens?
Property was clean and nice. We loved the putt putt and shuffle board. The pool was heated which was a plus. We had four adults and the place had one bedroom and a pull out couch. When we went to go to bed it was late and there were NO linens or blankets for the pull out couch bed. It was too late to ask at front desk. We had to sleep on bare mattress which was not fun. Also there was only 1/4 of a toilet paper roll in bathroom. We only booked a one night stay and brought toilet paper with us, but I would have liked to have a full roll of toilet paper.
