Beautiful rooms and decor, elegant still feels like home.

Erica was the perfect host that attended to our every need. The owner Regis was an amazing man that told the most amazing stories, Just a lovely experience. It actually looks like the photos posted on the website. 5 star the whole way.

Full of history, authentic, family home, clean, welcoming staff, nice and original experience overall (having dinner at the host’s table with all the other residents of the hotel)
the rooms on the second floor, even though spacious and nicely decorated, had a low ceiling and were a bit isolated.

The family who runs the chateau could not be any better. They were helpful, knowledgeable and willing to do whatever to help ensure our stay was perfect.

A very beautiful and historical family chateau, hosted by one of the family members and his wonderful, helpful and cheerful wife.
The property is beautifully furnished with period art and books. It has a huge bright garden with a beautiful pool and many adorable birds.
The room was large and clean, with a huge bathroom and super comfortable beds.
A sweet bengal cat named Santis walks around the property sometimes making it even more magical.
I highly recommend their dinner. You must book it in advance. Erica cooked it herself and it was very delicious!

beautiful location and lovely staff
unfortunately there was no hot water which was a shame. we did receive an apology email explaining that it had been fixed after we’d left.

The chateau created a lovely memory for us for years to come! the chateau was stunning and warm- the grounds were equally beautiful and the dinner was amazing- thank you erika and family!
champagne price was a bit high on arrival but everything else ok

lovely old château, beautifully renovated. large and warm outdoor pool. excellent breakfast spread.

Extraordinary beauty. The breakfast room was exquisitely beautiful and the coffee flowed freely - they were incredibly indulgent. The grounds were incredibly beautiful and watercolour classes were one of the most wonderful holiday experiences you could imagine.
French is a beautiful language and adds enormously to atmosphere. The experience would have been more pleasurable if people had spoken French in the Chateau.

We absolutely loved the at-home feeling you provided us. The meals, the freedom to roam the property, and the overall atmosphere and service were a delight. Would highly recommend getting both the dinner and breakfast for the full experience!
Our stay was not long enough!

The setting and the team are wonderful. This is a sophisticated Bed & Breakfast rather than full service hotel but still worth a visit. The team were very friendly and helpful. This is a genuine Chateau so not everything works but so many other features compensate. Note: if you want dinner you must let them know 24 hours in advance. We didn't but there are restaurants about 15 to 20 mins away by car.

The building is superb. Built more than 200 years ago and well well maintained. The staff is very hospitable and the place is managed by a family member and it feels so. We’ll come again

Stayed at the Chateau for 2 nights. That was one of the highlights of our trip to Normandy! Amazing place and full of beautiful artifacts and history. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Property is just beautiful, and hosts are very welcoming. Took many pictures! First night had dinner at the old farmhouse by the Chateau and enjoyed that a lot. We enjoyed hearing the stories about the place and appreciated all hospitality. We had great time staying at the Chateau! Will plan to stay there again during future trip to France. Great location close to Mont Saint Michel. Thank you to hosts for making that experience so unique!
Nothing at all!

Château de Boucéel was such a treat. The place is truly charming and unique, ran by the family which makes the stay even more special. They were incredibly kind, hospitable and helpful, assisting with recommendations and reservations for restaurants, booking of activities and pet sitting.
They also do a very special dining service “table d’hôte”, where you dine sharing a table family style. Erika’s cooking is certainly not to be missed! Merci encore!

The Marquee’s room was wonderful, quiet, roomy and beautiful. The breakfast was excellent. The staff was excellent. It was a 20 minute drive to the Mont Saint Michel parking lot.
It was a bit expensive, but we were willing to pay it!

Quiet, comfortable beds, private, wonderful breakfast, very delicious restaurants in the area, not far from the coast, ducklings/dog/wildlife with a lake and fields on the property to explore esp if you have kids, gorgeously decorated.
It’s not as close to Mont St. Michel as we thought but we had a car and we enjoyed driving in the areas.

The chateau is impressive, its interiors freshly restored and beautifully furnished. The breakfast in the paneled dining room is a unique experience . Visitors can also enjoy a walk in the English style park and sunbath by the swimming pool . They can also dine in the former stables and taste the excellent châtelaine’s cuisine. In other words, a night at chateau de bouceel is worth every euro. And helps to maintain a beautiful piece of French architectural heritage
Absolutely nothing

The place is simply amazing, everything is so beautiful and this is one of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had. The historic building gives you a very poetic vibe and the details make it even more magical: fireplace, library, breakfast with a garden view, magnificent decorations, peaceful nature.
3.5
Really friendly staff, willing to help with everything. Room was big and fine. View of hotel beautifull.
But really overpriced hotel. Not on a nice location if you want to have nice restaurants and bars in the neighbourhood. Everything was far away. And the atmosphere of restaurants, bars and villages not what we expected. The hotel is missing facilities like a bar and restaurant. The restaurant you can only eat once and only what is served. The have problems adjusting to allergies.
