Amazing view clean and excellent location

This is a perfect apartment for a comfortable stay with an absolutely outstanding view of Villefranche from the balcony. It’s well equipped with everything you need in a superb location to the centre of the Old Town. You are surrounded by lovely restaurants and a lovely jazz club at La Trinquette. There is a great range of helpful information in the apartment and Sandra was very helpful meeting and greeting us. Thank you to Alex so much for a magical stay.

This is a very nice apartment with a spectacular view. Our host was very helpful

Location and views were outstanding. While there was a shower, it is ridiculously small. Twin beds were adequate, but not firm. Place was clean, but 4 lights were burned out or not operational. We were able to extend for 4 days, but given the late season, it was expensive.

Amazing apartment, with the most amazing view. Dishwasher, washing machine, restaurants, beach and train nearby. Definitely go back and highly recommended

It was a very nice week in the apartment with a fantastic view over the sea and the old town.
We will come a next time. Thank you.

Outstanding! Location steps from the old village. Stunning views from every room & the large balcony. Very clean, neat, & well appointed. Deserves a 5+++ rating. Open floor plan, spacious for two guests. Convenient to day trip to Monaco, Nice, & Cap Ferrat, by car or public transportation. A real gem !!

A lovely location for exploring this part of France with excellent links to buses and trains. 3 minutes walk into the town and the harbourside. The apartment is fairly spacious, quiet, has a great view, is well equipped, with comfortable beds and the lift was most welcome after a day walking around Nice.

Ideal location with a great view
We had a wonderful stay at this property! Lots of restaurants nearby and the beach and train station are an easy10 min walk. Grocery stores are also walkable. The internet worked great the whole time, which was important as we were working during our stay. The AC was also nice at night when we slept.

Vêry nice!
Very nice apartment, good management, very easy check in and out!

Great location with a wonderful view of the harbor. Few blocks to the core of old town and just a few blocks to the bus and no more than a ten minute walk to the train. Great location to explore the French Riviera.

I know Villefranche well but it was good to be this side, on the edge of the old town. It’s a slightly longer walk to the main beach but you’ve got the choice of the quieter, stony Darse beach which is perfect for a morning/evening swim. The flat had everything we needed although we mostly ate out. The view is even better than you can imagine, a stunning, changing scene. The lift is a bonus - you don’t get that in the old buildings - and Sandra, the property manager, was lovely and answered our questions promptly.

We had a fantastic holiday at this apartment, the location is perfect. We enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony or having a glass of wine in the evening watching the boats. Would definitely stay again.

This was our second stay in this apartment with floor to ceiling windows looking out over the town, mountains and bay. Just steps from old town and dozens of restaurants. For a studio it has ample space for two. Very clean. We hope to stay here again in the future.

This apartment may have the best view ever and sipping a glass of wine on the balcony was sheer bliss. The only criticism would be that for such a nice apartment the linens were not up to standard Shabby towels and unironed sheets The toilet was not working properly on our our arrival and it took the manager from Friday afternoon till Tuesday morning to get it fixed . A little more attention to detail would make things perfect.

Stayed at the apartment on my own the first week of May. It was perfect for my needs. Very clean. Close to everything (5 minutes) such as restaurants, shops, supermarket, bakery, and fresh produce. Close to bus stop if you want to catch a bus to Nice or catch a bus the other way to Monaco/Menton. Sitting on the balcony most mornings with my cappuccino and chocolate almond croissant from the bakery up the street, overlooking the bay and Mediterranean, was pretty special. Property manager Sandra was very kind and helpful. Apartment had everything that an single person or couple would need. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it.

Perfect location, amazing view
Having traveled to this part of France before we knew the views are beautiful and the balcony in this apartment had the most amazing views. We sat here so many times just relaxing with a glass of wine. We found the meet and greet to be very friendly and accommodating. Super tidy and well-equipped apartment, not a bad word to say.

Loved it, will be back!
Such a lovely apartment, we couldn't have asked for anything more, spotlessly clean with the most spectacular views from Villefranche to Cap Ferrat. We loved the local restaurants, excellent food and just a quick stroll away.

Magnificent Views.
This apartment is in a great location and from the apartment terrase there are magnificent views of the mountains, the Old Town and across Villefranche bay to Cap Ferrat.
The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Its only a short stroll to the nearest restaurants, the Old Town, buses/train station and a beautiful sandy beach.
We enjoyed this holiday so much that are looking forward to returning Villefranche in the near future and would definitily book this apartment again and recommend it to anybody.

Excellent location but very noisy!
Stayed here for five nights in August, see below pros and cons from our stay based on our opinion:
Pros
- Location (very close to town and beach)
- Clothes Washer
- Kitchen is well equipped (with the exception of a wine bottle opener)
- Air Conditioned
- Building Neighbors were quiet
- Easy Check-In and Out
Cons
- Extremely Loud Street Noise from 7am-2am every night
- Lack of basic items provided (clothes washing soap, garbage bags, washcloths and paper towel)
- No Beach Towels or toys available for children
- Lack of information for guests in the guest book such as: where does the garbage and recycling go, recommended restaurants, recommended grocery store, transit information, etc.)
Would I stay here again? unfortunately, I would not based on the fact that sleep is important to me and getting a couple of hours of uninterrupted sleep was nearly impossible during my five night stay.
If you do stay here, bring ear plugs!

Loved this apartment & its amazing panoramic view
This is a very well equipped apartment with such a beautiful view that we brought back delicious food from the nearby deli's sat on the balcony and had the most relaxing stay. All the necessaries & some great restaurants are just a stroll away too. Would highly recommend and we will be returning.

Close To Heaven
This apartment on the edge of old town Villefranche-Sur-Mer, has the most unbelievable view. The location is excellent, two minutes to restaurants and a little further to the beach. Ten minute walk to train station, and to the town with access to busses to Nice and beyond, and Menton/Monaco. The apartment itself is a delight outfitted with everything you would need for a most comfortable stay. Highly recommend for two people, or three if you are good friends!

Breathtaking views from the apartment and balcony.
We holidayed one week in The Diana Place and loved every minute of our visit. This was our third visit to Villefranche and the apartment although small is very well maintained and professionally supported by an excellent owner and manager. I would have to say the best experience to date. The apartment has all the amenities and is perfectly located in a secure apartment building near the markets, sea shore, and rail station. The views from the apartment and balcony are breathtaking and we never tired of it. I would highly recommend Diana Place.

a perfect holiday
I spent with my husband the most beautiful holliday in Villefranche (2 weeks), a true jewel of the Riviera. Very pretty old town, with its authentic unspoiled french charm; and It's the perfect place for any kind of taste: you look for a relaxing time - you have it, it's not crowded, but full of life, everything is clean, very good quality restaurants all around, people are nice, helpful and service oriented. If you want more excitement, well, Villefranche is the perfect base to explore Monaco, Cannes, the whole riviera with all its attractions, it's very easy and comfortable (and cheap) to use the public transportation (bussess, train), if not renting a car. The old fort hosts old kinds of cultural events, exhibitions, concerts, the city is full of life in the evening and the sight of the bay is just magificent. And all those restaurants by the water are amazing.
The apartment has a perfect location, 2 minutes walk from the Marina, all shops and restaurants, very close to all the "happening", but not in the middle of it, to (be disturbed by noise etc); the view from the balcony is much more spectacular than you can see in the pictures of the add, is really fantastic. And you have it all in the apartment, anything you need (you can cook if you want, there is even a grill, etc), including beach stuff. Very much appreciated the internet as well, worked very well. The apt is clean, just enough space, looks fresh, it's a joy to start the morning on the balcony with coffee and croissant :) (which you can buy fresh from the market right behind the bldg). Again, the apt looks better than in the the pictures and feels very hommy.
We were lucky on Saturday to discover quite close (next to the turist office) a farm market - fresh products from the producers: cheese, all kind of meat, fish fruits, just amazing!!! (got a huge piece of caviar! :)
The beach is very nice, not too big, but it's fine, it's not "sandy - sand", but it's very fine pebble, it's pleasant to walk barefoot; the water is not too deep, it's perfect for small kids. There are cruises also organised : ask at the port.
I would recommend visiting also the places around: Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, Beaulieu, Eze etc - they are all really pretty and nice, things to see (e.g. famous Ephrusci villa etc), but I would always prefer to stay in Villefranche, I just fell in love with this place, it has it all for me and we'll definitely come back.
Thank you, Alex and Sandra!

Dina Palace, Ave Sadi Carnot
The position of the apt. is superb - about five minutes walk to the harbour. Although the walk back is uphill, we walked up a slope and managed it fairly easily ( we are all over seventy ). We ate every meal on the balcony, enjoying the wonderful view.!
The manager was waiting for us when we arrived and a contact telephone number was provided. When leaving we were able to use the apt. until departure time.
The apt. is perfect for a couple. There were three of us and at times we could have done with a little more space. I would recommend it as suitable for all ages and would rent it again if we return to Villefranche.

Thank you very much for making nice holiday possible!
Although we were quite late with our decision making was so glad to get such a nice spot with such short notice and reasonable price.
Location is fantastic, dedicated parking is very handy.
The bell on the Church we thought would be be a problem at the first day but after a day or two it was so handy (especially while having breakfast on the balkony in the mornings). Fantastic views (all the fireworks are right there for the spectacular viewing). Walking distance to the downtown and port and the beach and to the bakery and the "fruitery" (mind the hills and stairs though :) ). Could do without the car if wouldn't have plans for travel alongside the coast (Nice, Antibes, Cap Ferrat, Monaco etc). Min-isupermarket (Spar) is just next door, for better (and cheaper) shopping used Carefour (in Nice, 15 min drive) and U (in Boulie-Sur-Mer, 15 min drive). Restaurants (sea front) are fantastic (not cheap though but what do you expect you are in THAT AREA :) )
So much history in that little town. We had fantastic holiday!
Had loads of photos and happy to share if anyone interested.
Thank you very much!
p.s.
(Fishing in the morning or in the evening is fantastic too).

We have been to Villefranche before but this apartment made it a very special stay. The views over the bay and town are just stunning with something always going on to watch. We found everything in the description to be spot on, everything we needed was there and all very clean. All the amenities of the village are very convenient, especially as Lyn's broken ankle had only come out of plaster the week before so with a crutch she was not able to do to much walking! The local beach is excellent although there are no sun beds to hire.
Overall we would recommend this apartment to any couple wanting a relaxing break in the sun, even the church clock stops ringing at night!
