The hotel was nice and the room was quite big which was great. The bed was also comfortable. They did try and work with me since I showed up around 10am and check-in wasn't open nor was my room yet available. Overall the staff I spoke to was very friendly. They let me store my luggage and use the bathroom early. Metro is close by.
The window for check-in is very slim and if you show up any time outside those hours you need to arrange a separate way to get the keys. This was a huge pain because I showed up in the morning before check-in and was then out until late at night with friends in the city center (which is not very close- 20min or more by public transport). At 8am people were vacuuming and cleaning outside the room which was pretty annoying if you're trying to sleep. For the lack of guests I saw there I found it surprisingly loud. It was missing a plug beside the bed to charge any sort of devices (I unplugged a light instead). The shared bathroom wasn't really an issue although some of the bathrooms are much nicer than others, which I wasn't told at the start, and would have been nice to know.

Fantastisk hyggeligt hotel. Super behagelige senge. Friskbagte boller til morgenmad. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen 😊

There were lots of thoughtful touches in this cozy boutique hotel. Lovely and quirky decor, relaxed lounge with balcony and honesty bar, delicious breakfast, very friendly staff, good location.
The shared bathroom was actually ok, as it was kept very clean. However, the bathroom on my corridor was right next to the breakfast room and main entrance door, so using it in the morning did feel a bit exposed and stressful.

The building was in a lovely, quiet location- convenient for Metro, coffee shops and restaurants. The decor was really tasteful and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful and I liked the little touches like the robe and sandals!
A little bit of noise from the street and some in corridors at breakfast if on the same floor, but really not a problem!

Lovely hotel in a residential neighborhood. The rooms were spacious, the common areas were cozy and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly.
We had a very positive experience, so nothing to say here.

Spacious room in what feels more like a boarding house than a traditional hotel. It was clean and comfortable and the staff was lovely.
I didn't read the description carefully enough before coming and wasn't prepared for some of the things like shared bathrooms, stairs and noise. We are older (in our 60's) so for us these were things we didn't love...but our younger selves would have found Rye115 to be perfect. It was totally my fault and nothing the hotel didn't state clearly in advance.

I’ve been in this hotel several times, and I enjoy it every time. It’s a very cozy and comfortable place that doesn’t feel like a hotel. The staff is very friendly.
If other guests are loud on the hallways, you will hear it in your room.

This is an amiable and attractive, reasonably priced hotel in a very nice area. I had stayed here before and liked it quite a bit
Very unfortunately the keys I picked up on late arrival did not work for the room door. I got in as it was left ajar, bit went to shower taking the keys (no rooms have ensuite bathroom) and could not get back into room. It was very late, no staff on site and i was in bathrobe…it was fixed because by chance I had taken phone to bathroom and could find and call emergency staff number for remote help. However, maybe because I then had the working key set my room was not cleaned. Scaffolding outside window and quite early noise of drilling was understandable but detracted from peace and privacy. Also they had begun charging for breakfast, which was new - maybe I missed that in rebooking. Would have gone to nearby cafe if realised. Bill was initially wrong as they mixed me up with different guest who had changed to better room. Sorry as they are very friendly and nice, but I won’t return after this time.

The beds were very comfortable. Location was excellent to our needs.
Nice also to be able to take coffea and tea during the day.
The staff was friendly and helped us with the suitcases as there is no elevator.
I knew about the shared bathroom so it did not come as a surprise.
Did not find the sinks clean enough. One of the sinks was clogged and one of the showers as well.
No place in the room to hang clothes. We stayed for 5 nights and would have needed somwhere to hang our clothes. The clothes and the towles we had to spread out on the chairs and bed. The suitcase was on the floor which made it impossible to clean the room.
Breakfast was the same every morning. A bun premade with the same cheese everyday. Very poor to my taste. Fruit was a 5 centimeter long piece of melon and 3 grapes. No vegetables, no eggs. juice from concentrated stock. Our last day there was no milk for the coffee. This is not what we expected from a hotel in this prize category.

Very nice and cozy Hotel, we can totally recommend to stay there :)

super stylish, nice main ares and breakfast was great. Everyone was very friendly and the place is very clean. Feels like a home more than a hotel- in a good way!
a bit small, and noisy. We were right next to the breakfast area and it is only a curtain that separates your shared bathroom from that in the morning it was a bit embarrassing to walk through, but didn't affect us too much

Good location near the port for our Dinner Cruise. Clean. Good breakfast. One staff member who lived opposite the hotel was fabulous - kind, generous and helpful and this hotel would be absolutely rubbish without him.
Dull brown room, scaffolding. Shared bathroom. Worst thing was we left our cases locked up whilst we went to Tivoli gardens in the morning and agreed with the staff to collect them around 1 PM to take on our Disney cruise. When we returned around 1 PM, there was no-one at all in the hotel - it was completely locked. The neighbour who worked in the hotel, just happened to be passing and let us in. Maybe they put it in a safer place but the wine and chocolates were not with the other cases but there wasn't anyone to ask. Trust completely lost as the pick up of cases had been agreed by the morning staff. Had the neighbour not been there, we would have set off for Iceland without any cases at all.

This charming little hotel in Copenhagen was a perfect option to finish my solo trip in the Danish capital. The staff was welcoming and helpful and made me feel at home in their building. I absolutely loved the interior styling of the hotel - the owners furnished the place with great taste.
Although it is in line with the building's aesthetic and architecture, the wooden floor creaks and could be disturbing for some guests. It didn't bother too much though.
4.3
Common sitting room and breakfast were nice.
Check-in and check-out times were very restrictive.
Even though the website noted that there would be construction at the building, it did not mention that the work started at 7 am right outside our windows. Even though the website said, "We will of course do our very best to ensure that this does not affect your stay at the hotel", we felt like that was just lip service because the work occurred on front and back of the hotel. The noise and dust made sleeping difficult. Overall, the stay was very unpleasant.
Also, it's impossible to tell from the website that the bathrooms are SHARED bathrooms. We didn't mind this so much, but we wished we had known beforehand from the website at the time of booking!
The room was very small. It's fine for one night, but guests will probably feel cramped and uncomfortable beyond that.

Perfect location regarding distance to the American
embassy.
Also very close to the subway.
