Fabulous hotel in great location

Great location, comfort, lovely breakfast, fantastic staff. Pool area good and lots of sun beds

Balcony in rooms didn’t get sun for long. Shower temperature hard to adjust. Long waits at times for lifts in mornings.

Quarto extrmamente desconfortavel devido à falta de climatização.

Da vista frontal de mar...

Ar condicionado não está ligado. Foi-nos explicado que o quarto está orientado a sul, que o sol aquece o suficiente. Temperatura do ar no exterior, 14 graus. No interior talvez 17 graus...No ultimo dia da estadia, não houve sol durante todo o dia. Após 3 insistencias na recepção, foi-nos fornecido um pequeno aquecedor de resistencia eletrica (!) que funcionava mal...Dizem ser um hotel de 4 * !...Isto são condiçoes de habitabilidade ?... Quanto à quantidade de àgua que sai da misturadora do lavatório...alertamos a recepção, não houve qualquer resposta.

Uns wurde eine Suite versprochen war ein normales Zimmer! Zimmer war nicht sauber. Furchtbares Badezimmer, Kitfugen schwarz z.T. mit Schimmel. Armaturen völlig zerkratzt!!! Keine Heizung!

Great location close to beach. Good pool. Good buffet breakfast.

The hotel is quite old and tired. The timber overlay floor in the room was in poor condition, loose and noisy. Should have used tiles. The area of Benalmedena is run down and dirty, not a good look to attract tourism.

Really enjoyed it, such a great location, staff were all lovely and extremely helpful.

Breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked eggs and waffles as to be expected as most hotel restaurants have this. Cereals, breads, pastries, fruit, continental and cooked food really could not fault it apart from the juice. Room was really nice and facing the sea as requested. Maid was lovely. My 88 yo mum (Rm525) was with us too and the maid on her floor was absolutely lovely making sure she was ok.

Sadly as the hotel was in Spain I was expecting fresh orange juice bearing in mind oranges are synonymous with the country and not a diluted type of drink, that would have been a good idea and a 10/10 for breakfast. Room just a bit tired, broken tile at the bathroom door which was really obvious. Dinner was not good at all I ended up eating salad. I asked if it was possible to have lunch rather than dinner but that wasn’t an option, however Hotel Bali could do that. I’m sure a lot of food is wasted for the evening service. Chicken and meat with bones in is fine but not in a stew or sauce dish as you just can’t see what you are eating.

Not a 4-star hotel

Location was great, since it was near the beach. Hotel has also good AC.

Where should I start... First, name of the hotel on booking is not the same as actual name of hotel and finding it using google maps is problematic. The hotel is OK but it is not a 4-star hotel. The rooms and the hotel are not clean as they should be. Facilities are quite beaten up and need renovation (long past due). Shower does not have door so you could easily make a flood in the bathroom since it does not have good drainage. The sheets are not changed daily as well as bathroom supplies. The beds are horrible to sleep in since you can feel every spring inside the mattress. There is a lack of variety in the buffet. They charge parking 15 euros a day, which would be fine if it is not a street parking without any security. For many things they ask for a deposit such as pool towels ( 20 euros) and parking ramp remote (40 euros). The staff is not very helpful. E.g. the hotel has pool table, but the lady at the reception did not know how we can use it ( it is not free for use). The drinks are not included in the half board. Overall, would not recomend it. This is not a 4-star hotel and it is overpriced.

Great location and lovely pool area.

There was plenty of choice at breakfast and there was always an empty table. You could eat inside or out. The location is straight out on to the beach front.

There was some huge wall lights that I can only desctibe has headlights that were ridiculously bright. There was a lift but as we were on the top flor we were constantly queuing for the lift up or down. 2 lifts is not enough for the amount of people in the lift and they are very small.

Just a fabulous friendly place to stay excellent

Everything especially the friendly efficient reception Sylvia and Julie and team. Location is fabulous and a car park at the side. Nothing is too much trouble. We stay regularly here.

Nice location

Black beetle in the bathroom. Sewage not maintained. Cleaning personnel stole money from us, more exact 200EUR stolen from the room at the end of our stay at the hotel. We reported it, and the personnel in the reception did absolutely nothing to investigate it. Poor service.

The Lovely Hotel Riviera

Fab location. Lovely pool and outside areas. Lift to promenade and beach. Good food, nightly entertainment, great staff. They even had a bookcase of books when i ran out.

Fabulous short break, excellent location. Would definitely return.

Breakfast was buffet style and excellent choice. Our room was spacious and clean although soundproofing wasn’t great but this wouldn’t stop me from returning. Dinner was good and even the most fussy eater would find something Location was fabulous, lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance and a short walk to the marina. They even have a lift to take you to the promenade.

Soundproofing but I realise it’s an older hotel so not much can be done. It’s just your luck who you get next door.
