We loved it but didn't get any sleep unfortunately!

sleeping with 15 other is not easy. Bed's are too close and cramped. No fan in the room on a super hot day either.

Stunning views and friendly atmosphere, very cool hostel in the mountains!

Incredible views, we loved having a drink after a long day and soaking in the mountain views.

Our private room was only accessible by walking through the boys dormitory, which made it feel less of a private room. But it was okay.

The location is great, but the hostel is way to small for how many guests it accommodates.

I thought I was paying for a single bed in the female dormitory, but there are no separations between the small beds, so you are essentially sharing one long bed with many others. It's very uncomfortable, and literally no one slept well. The dormitory is far too crowded and there is no space for storing luggage. There are 3 toilets and 3 showers for all the guests, which is not enough. The result is that the space is super crowded and feels very overwhelming. We couldn't find a place to sit to have dinner, and then had to wait 30 minutes just to wash our dishes because the kitchen was so crowded. Overall, the hostel is way too small for the number of guests it accommodates. The staff seem stressed and overworked because the number of guests was so high. The pizza they serve is also disappointing (mine was burned), and overpriced for what you get (21 CHF).

The hostel has a great location in a beautiful mountain environment, friendly staff, reasonable prices...

one man in the room was snoring a lot in the evening, which disturbed everyone's sleep. luckily, after the invitation of the rest of us, he moved to the next social room

Far exceeded our expectations

Most amazing weather and the views can not be put into words. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We will be going back for sure. The view from our warm little private room was breathtaking and unlike any other experience we've ever had. The bathrooms were nicely renovated and clean. The beers were cold and the pizzas were perfect.

The location is very good. The view from the terrace of the restaurant is magnificent. There is a shared kitchen with everything you need. The staff tried to help in all matters.

Didn't like the beds. The lower floor of the beds with a very low "ceiling", there is no passage between the beds, they are located one next to the other. Beds are narrow. Such conditions can only be acceptable to young people who like to sleep next to each other in a crowd. There are no lamps and no furniture at all. No place to put things. Very closely.

The place is really cool and I would stay there again, amazing location, amazing people, and breakfast was awesome.

20 devices plugged into one pretty sketchy outlet. In the female room, you're literally laying next to someone there is no separator. Lots of flies. It wasn't very clear in the listing that this is a carless location, you take a gondola up. Very cool, but not clearly stated and we didn't know that until they sent us a message after we book. No big deal, but good to know.

10/10 the best hostel

I was in love with the atmosphere at this hostel! From the living room, to the outside seating to the location, everything was just perfect! Super friendly staff, and great morning breakfast selection. I really enjoyed that they had a kitchen and fridge for the guest to use for their groceries for meals. Honestly best hostel I’ve stayed at to date!

Stunning location

The location of the hostel is second to none and the selling point for staying here. I paid to have a double private room which was lovely and comfortable with an outstanding view. Breakfast had a reasonable spread. Evening pizzas were fab. The general vibe at the hostel was fantastic and the warm, welcoming staff were fab.

I know that it was a hostel but the bathroom was left in a mess - not the staffs fault just the guests I suppose! Better when one group left. The room we had needed a key - not overly fussed about security but with the storm we had, the door kept blowing open and the rain came in - we wedged the door shut! More fresh fruit available at breakfast please!

Homemade pizza

We are a family of five, and they put us in a “lovers” room, 16 people in total. And it’s not a usual bunk bed, but just two bunk beds in a room of 16 people! Each bunk bed has 4 people on the lower bed, and 4 people on the upper bed, with about 2.5 feet width for each person and we have to sleep next to others with no curtains (it’s a “lovers” room). Also, only small space for luggages when considering 16 people in there. I’m not sure the max capacity of the whole hotel lodge (I saw that there’s at least 4 guest rooms), however, there’s only 2 female toilets and 2 male toilets as well as just 3 shared shower room for everyone, too crowded I think. Lastly, too many flies (insects)…
