The staff was very friendly, they did their best to welcome us and helped to organize a trip on the lake. Breakfast was fine.
At the entrance of the (very small) village, we were surrounded by people organizing a trip on the lake: one of them was our host, proposing quite a high price. It was a place intended to rip off tourists. Also, we had to wait 15 minutes to pay with a credit card instead of cash (not a problem of this structure only, but of whole Montenegro)

Well situated, clean and tidy hotel. kind personnel
They were kind enough to get us a baby cot.
I found the fact of being pushed to book for a boat ride inappropriate.

Location. The brakfast was simple, little choice but good. Wellcome drink and a small check out gift. The staff is doing their best, service was OK. The host is offering the boat trips. Aircon in the room was very silent and powerfull enough (remember it is only a tiny room)
Room is very small, the beds were average. The sink in the bathroom is record breaking small - do you want to shave or wash your face? Don't even try - will flood the full hotel. Shaving light over the mirror was not working. The light in the bathroom was "last century" illumescensick - push the button and have a smoke before the light goes on. TV set was like stolen from the museum - very "classic" but with remote control so not so old :)
At the check in the host had the prints from booking.com with 54,02EUR but asked to pay 70EUR - I felt he wants to rip me off, hope I am wrong and that was only a mistake...

Hotel is located in the center of the village Virpazar. Beds were comfy, air condition was working well, taxi transfer to the airport arranged by the hotel worked fine.
The behavior of the hotel's owner was really strange and misleading. He was trying to get 10/10 review of his buisnesses (hotel/restaurant/boat tours) by forcing us to publish the positive reviews. When he realized that we booked our lake boat tour with another compay via booking.com he told us that the boat tour for his hotel guests is for free (which is not true cause we've been asking hotel after our reservation via booking.com app what would be the price of the cruise and they've written us it would be 15 eur per person). We had an early check out and we've asekd if we can get a take away breakfast, the owner confirmed that it would be prepared for us. We got no breakfast and the crew of the restaurant pretended they don't understand us when we were asking for the breakfast in the morning.

Friendly helpful staff, good restaurant, beautiful location, very nice breakfast, good value for money.
Some of the amenities did not work at the time (out of soap, TV broken)

The staff were very friendly and helpful with the questions we had. We really enjoyed the breakfast and the food at the resturant Pelikan was delicious.

Very comfortable beds, very central, and lovely staff!
Rooms are very basic, but comfortable!

Property had no issues with cleanliness.
The owner is not only pushy but also a liar and a charlatan. Sells extortionate tours with a fake happy persona without allowing time to settle into vacation mode. Tour was over an hour late. Some generic excuse made. Do not give them your money.
Booked a taxi but it was a friend rather than a taxi firm. Would rather support different facets of the local economy rather than the hotel's greedy palms.
Location is directly next to the entrance to Virpazar making it loud and with many fumes.
Food at restaurant is of lower quality than other restaurants in the area.
We booked two nights but left after one. I would strongly recommend not to stay at this accommodation.

Beautiful location, friendly and welcoming staff. We checked out early for a flight and the staff prepared a packed lunch for us.
The room was a little small and there was an spotlight shining right into our window at night.

Friendly service, taking care of every detail. Nice location and nice food!

Modestly equiped though functional enough. Comfortable beds, no leakage at the bathroom.
I would recommend because of general hospitality and very good cousine. We had a really good time in Virpazar and around the lake.
The sink is too small, refer on good bathtub.
Noise insulation is questionable.
It's better to declare at the very beginning whether you for boat tour or not. Then, just enjoy your way.

the situation
The probe of the hotel's owner to push us to pay a very expansive price for a boat trip : he ask us 168 € for a regular price of 50 €

The location is phenomenal. Right at the beginning of the village and a great location to go on tour of Lake skadar. The restaurant in the hotel is also superb. I had one of my best meals in Montenegro here. The carp and skopsa salad were delightful - highly recommend it. I arrived on Sunday when the only supermarket was shut so the restaurant was accomodation and provided me with a packed lunch consisting of sandwiches and some drinks. The tour of the park, whilst a bit pricey at €25 per hour was lovely. The owner of the hotel was very accommodating and helpful overall and I would recommend the place for a one night stay if you are here to explore the national park.
The room itself was very basic. The hotel is quite dated. The shower was leaking so my bathroom floor was flooded after having a shower. I was also unable to fully open the toilet door due to the positioning of the boiler. I was only there for one night so I lived with it.
My only other slight gripe was that the hotel was a bit too pushy with trying to sell me the tour of the park. I had barely pulled into the village and I was asked to roll down my window and asked if I wanted to do a tour of the park. It would be better if the hotel let their guests park and check in first before trying to sell the tour.

Poor breakfast. Room small and noisy. Owner was very pushy and receive incorrect info as to what was available on theboat ride. After checking others he agree to give us what we wanted. One nights stay was enough. We moved to another placein the area

We really enjoyed our stay at Pelikan! The location is nice and quite and the rooms clean. The restaurant had tasty and filling food, which was much needed after the trip around the lake! The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend :)

The location for the lake.
No shower soap in the shower, the room was very noisy, we could hear the couple next to us having sex and its right next to a railway line and high way. The breakfast was basic and very oily. We paid for 2 nights but chose to move on after the 1st night. They state they are 3 star, these must have been awarded when they opened in 1960. I would rate it 1 star.
Marko was very friendly.
