Άριστη τοποθεσία του καταλύματος - Εξαιρετική εξυπηρέτηση από την Olivia (ρεσεψιον) - Άνετο δωμάτιο και πολύ καθαρό - Όμορφο περιβάλλον με ωραία διακόσμηση - Ησυχία στο κατάλυμα παρόλο που υπήρχε πισίνα εντός ξενοδοχείου !!

Spoiled, and so well looked after, at a great Hotel, in a beautiful town, on a delightful island

Although there were only two of us we stayed in a two room apartment. The staff were friendly, welcoming and very helpful indeed. The apartment was comfortable, well furnished and spotlessly clean. We had a wrap-around balcony so could always choose whether to sit in sun or shade. The air conditioning worked well. The views from the balcony were delightful, far-off hills and a lovely swimming pool. Located close to the sea front in Livadia with its harbour and a long promenade, stretching right around the bay, with mini-markets, gift shops, bars and tavernas. The swimming pool was fabulous, kept really clean despite the delightful bougainvillea dropping petals on it all the time. It was a clever pool with a sculptured bottom so that it was shallow all round the edges but around 2 meters in the centre.

The apartment had a hob and a kettle but we would have welcomed a toaster and maybe a microwave. There was no plug for the sink and no tea towel to dry dishes. No other snags.

A very nice, relaxing place to stay.

I liked the open spacious feeling about the place and the fact that all necessary facilities are provided. There is even a clothes line provided on the balcony to dry your towel etc. after a swim in the pool. A nice relaxing place to stay.

A problem for the whole island of Tilos I believe, but the wifi is pretty slow and erratic.

L'hotel che mi auguro sempre di trovare quando viaggio

L'hotel più fiorito che abbia mai visto, una delizia per gli occhi. Piacevole di giorno, anche grazie alla piscina, silenzioso di notte. Personale molto gentile e premuroso, a partire dalla persona alla reception che si è messa a completa disposizione, fino alla addetta alle pulizie, simpatica e volenterosa. Infatti la pulizia è stata giornaliera ed accurata. Un avviso in più lingue compreso l'italiano invita a non fare lavare gli asciugamani giornalmente per limitare i danni all'ambiente... Giusto! La posizione non è fronte spiaggia, ma si arriva al mare con una semplice passeggiata. In definitiva raccomando vivamente questo hotel, che ha un eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo.

Tutto ok; c'erano parecchie zanzare, ma anche a casa mia non si scherza. La reception non è sempre presidiata, quindi è importante comunicare l'orario di arrivo.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely town on a stunning island. , everything that you would need is all there.

Perfect. The location just back from the beach at Livadia was ideal. About 5 minute walk to the Bach, tavernas, bakery and shops. The room had a big very comfortable bed, good air con and a decent bathroom. Olivia, our host and the team were excellent. Olivia met us at the port and dropped us back there at the end of our stay. The weather was extremely hot but with the lovely pool we were able to keep cool but it was very hot to walk very far so we did this in the morning and the evening. Take the free bus to Mikro Chorio at 11pm to the bar in the abandoned village, it’s magical.

Daily cleaning of the room was really wonderful. A small kitchenette allows for breakfast and some easy meals at home. Pool was appreciated by the kids and the adults alike and the staff was really helpful and tried to solve whatever came up. Great vacation. Thank you!

The staff were amazing As was the hotel Cat - the hotel was lovely (although maybe the bathrooms are slight dated but everything is functional and comfortable. Air con was great. What happened to the pizza that is mentioned on the internet - they don’t serve food the rest of the day only breakfast. There are so many places to eat a very short walk to the beach and town- great location. They were great to help drop off our luggage to the port at the end of the holiday but I will ask next time for the ferry pick up as didn’t communicate this before arriving. Fresh towels in the room If we were missing items the staff (Olivia) made sure to help us sort it out (we didn’t have a kettle for our room so she sorted this out for us). It would be great to add a visitors book for people to sign and add notes to so future visitors could read and get recommendations from past guests

The scum line on the pool needs to be cleaned as it would make the pool amazing - the pool itself and the benches were Greta and the pool temp. Loved it otherwise. They could have swept the staircases a lot more and also add something finishing touches to the reception area and just looked bare and could do with some extra touches. Would have expected a wider selection for breakfast and ability to make toast - the option of having hot chocolate and fresh orange juice (they had some weird orange stuff ) Overall I enjoyed the simplicity of having a choice of fried eggs or omelette (could also offer scrambled eggs) AddiNg cereal (They only had muesli) Would be great too as children don’t eat muesli.

Excellent stay with young family at Tilos Mare.

Everyone who works at Tilos Mare! In particular, Stefano is a fantastic guy - So hard working and caring about our needs. Always there when we needed and ready to do everything he could to make the stay just right. Also, the pool is great. Spotlessly clean, nice and cool and never busy. There are very few properties with pools in Livadia, so this was one of the main reasons we chose Tilos Mare and were not disappointed. Lovely terrace for breakfast. A very calm, pleasant and shady place to start the day. Overall, excellent value for money.

Only 1 thing - The air conditioning systems, certainly in the rooms that we had, are not really up to the job. A failure on the first night led to an very uncomfortable night (although Stefano was straight on the case as soon as we raised this next morning to get an engineer to repair it - Challenging for him I know as there are very few engineers on the island so there's high demand!), But, even when the unit was back up and running, it was not really capable of cooling the room sufficiently.

Excellent hospitality from the staff at this hotel. Spacious rooms , nice pool area , good breakfast, 3 min walk to beach. good price/quality ratio for summer time .

A lovely stay, friendly hosts and near the beach

If you want 'boutique' as in 5-star luxury then this isn't it. However, it is a lovely place to stay in Tilos and we were pleased we chose here for a few nights. It's less than 5 mins walk to the beach at Livadia and a small stretch of seafront tavernas and a couple of laid back bars. It's also an easy 15 min stroll to the harbour; but with our luggage in tow having caught the ferry from Rhodes town we were grateful to be collected by the hotel who were waiting for us at the quayside. Our room was fabulous - spacious, spotless with a dual aspect to the sea and the hills. There is a pool and sun loungers which didn't appear to be much in use at this time of year but beach is very close. We were particularly pleased when the lady at the hotel let us know about a change to the ferry schedule which meant we had plenty of time to re-plan our return leg via Kamiros Scala in Rhodes. Thank you!

For us the breakfast was too basic and limited to gain a five star review. However, we did like the freshly made omelette.

Lovely time in a really nice hotel and very good value for money.

We know the island but had never stayed at Tilos Mare before. The room was very clean and the small bathroom had an excellent shower. There was air con if you needed it. The buffet breakfast was more than enough for our needs and eating outside was very pleasant. We faced the sea but the view the other side to the mountains was also very good. It was early June so it wasn't busy. Other guests were also impressed with the hotel. We would have no hesitation in going back. The staff were very, very good too. There was a small pool that was cleaned daily and the general setting of the hotel was very nice. Excellent value for money too.

We would have to be very picky to complain about anything so I won't.

Sunbeds around the pool need mattresses. They are hard plastic and you go numb after a few minutes.

Exceptional

Really nice hotel, spacious and quiet rooms, comfy bed and a nice couch. Value for price was almost excellent. Staff were also lovely and helpful, they even picked me up from the port and took to the hotel. I loved my stay in this hotel and in general in Tilos.

If I have to, only issue was wifi was not working in the rooms.
