Dreadful place. Stay away from it.

Absolutely nothing. Dreadful place. Nothing like the photos or descriptions on booking.com

The barbed wire around the terrace. The broken bottles cemented into the wall around the terrace. The rotting timber furniture. The security lock on the front door where a bolt ran from top to bottom. The pull out box under the bed described as a double bed. The water that ran onto the bathroom floor when the tap was turned on.

Amazing place to stay even in low season

We stayed as a family with kid, in January, for 2 nights. It's naturally cold during those times, but the apt was provisioned with electric heaters that did their job well. And the electricity distribution (or whatever that's called) is robust enough to keep 3 heaters running and not shut down. House has free parking in the inner "yard" area. Super inviting host made sure we're happy and was very helpful. Apt has all we needed. Was very clean and cozy. Great location. Small kids playground just 30 meters from the building. Really enjoyed our stay.

Hard to call out anything frustrating considering our short stay.

wonderful! we just loved it

easy walk to everything central in the heart of Cascais. quiet place with a park and playground right outside. perfect for a family of 4. really lovely space inside, very safe and comfortable.

it could do with some pantry staples but to be honest, fir a short stay you don’t need it. there’s a supermarket half a minute walk away.

Nice spacious apartment, suitable even for a longer stay

It is a big apartment with a huge living room + kitchen zone + terrace and 2 bedrooms. Everything is very comfortable and cozy. I could stay there for a longer period. Location is a little bit outside of a city center, but bus connection is good, there are a mini market and a couple of breakfast locations around. Full blackout is possible. Very silent at night.

All things considered it was a good stay.

It was conveniently situated

1.We experienced extreme difficulty unlocking the main entrance door. Advice given was to wiggle the key to the right. We managed on 3 occasions to get it open after trying for 20 minutes each time. On other occasions we entered when residents were exiting and one on Monica’s advice rang the bell of someone on the 1st floor to open up- very frustrating. All residents complain about this.1. 2.The floor towel in the shower was neatly rolled up but wet. 3.The white table in the lounge had a broken leg. 4. One of the lamps in the bathroom was fused.

Very satisfied. We could visit Lisbonne and also important places on the Atlantic coast.

The property is wide and well equipped. Even a nice small terrace, with flowers, chairs and a small table. It is located quite close to the seashore, within minutes you are in city center or on the shore. Last, but not least, the lady in charge is really nice and helpful.

Nice apartment, bad climate control

- Great location. Beach, town centre, super market all at walking distance - Big size apartment - Well furnished

- in winter not as bright as the photos suggest, sometimes even gloomy - old aircon/heater that is difficult to control. It stopped every 2 hours for a 1 hour break - other mobile heaters provided could not heat the place sufficiently - power tripped a few times.

Excellent and convenient stay

Well furbished and nicely decorated apartment. Nice and quiet terrace. Good location at walking distance from centre, Boca do inferno & Casa da Guia amenities and restaurants.

Failed/no lightning at the apartment front/entrance door. Unadapted dishes (too big) for dishwasher (too small).

Passable

The location was good - easy 10 minute walk into the center of Cascais. Having a little food shop at the BP garage across the road was very useful as well.

They didn't check that the water heating system was working when we arrived, so when we got back from dinner quite late we had no hot water unfortunately. I then tried to use the basin to wash (used hot water from the kettle) but the plug wouldn't close, so I couldn't do that either. I'm sure they can sort these issues out, and then it would have been a pleasant stay.

Good

The location is fantastic, the outside sitting area is gorgeous if visiting in the summer, flat is spacious, and neighbourhood is quiet. Property is super clean with very few issues that can be solved quickly. The property has heaters throughout so it is still a good option for winter. It is overall a very cosy flat.

Outdated furniture, the bed linens and towels had stains and were of an extremely bad quality. The table mats were very stained making it impossible to use. The tea/coffee and sugar provided by host also of very poor quality and presentation. Host could be a little more flexible and ready to immediately help, as I found I had to push her a little every time I needed help. Other than that she was nonetheless polite at all times.

Lovely flat,very clean and good location.

Lovely place, very clean and welcoming. On arrival monica our host was waiting for us, she was very efficient and very friendly and helpful.
