Anna was amazing and couldn't have been more friendly and helpful to us.
As a shared dorm it was a little too hot (but not the hotel fault)

Beautiful accomodation run by a lovely family who were very helpful and accomodating. Great facilities and a comfortable bed! A short 15/20 minute walk to the city centre where there are no shortage of restaurants. We highly enjoyed our stay!

Out of all the hotels we've stayed in this trip to Italy this was by far our favorite place. Anna could not have been more welcoming, professional or kinder. We absolutely loved our night at Il Villino on New Years eve -- it will be unforgettable. The room was meticulously clean and the beds were super comfortable. Wonderful bathroom with lots of hot water and pressure. Parking was available very close by. Absolutely loved the creative eclectic decor. There is a lovely garden to sit outside in. There was a perfectly made roaring fire in the sitting area fireplace on New Years eve to which they invited us to join them for delicious Armenian food after midnight cooked by Anna's lovely mother. Anna makes a great cup of cappuccino in the morning. She was the perfect host and her family and friends were some of the nicest people we've met in Italy (or the USA). We wish our stay was longer. We look forward to returning to Lucca and seeing her and her family again very soon. We'll be recommending Il Villino to anyone we know heading to Lucca. Thanks and all the best in 2023, Anna!!

Amazing staff, perfect property for a cheap yet comfortable stay.
Would have been nice to have my own key to the shared room (shared between 8 people) but otherwise everything was fantastic!

Anna who runs the apartment was very helpful and approachable. Clean and not far from the Walls of Lucca.
I whish there was a small fridge inside and extra blanket for the night.

The balcony is really nice. The hotel looks pretty. It looks very clean.
It was warm, no air conditioning. I could not sleep during the last night due to how hot the room was.

House in a quiet street, even in such small facility options for breakfast, nice owner
Parking is in other street, no aircondition, but that is just nice to have

Nice staff. Big bedroom and bathroom. Really comfortable bed.
Location, a little far from main attractions.
Breakfast was a little disappointing. It was composed mainly of cookies and sweets. They serve fresh good croissant though!

we loved the property was a lovely villa close to the walled city about a 10 minute walk.

No parking as stated on booking.com website. Had to park a street over at a school parking lot. Had to move the car from there because of change in parking and moved it to a residential area. Not desirable.
The smoking disturbed us.

we originally booked another hotel in town but we arrived late and it was in a very remote place next to a graveyard, so we booked this guest house instead at short notice. we planned to stay 1 night but we extended another night as it was a pretty nice town to check out. the service was amazing, room was spacious and clean. we did laundry and it was neatly pressed and folded within a couple of hours
nothing, everything was great

Cosy and spacious room, friendly staff, good location close to the city center. Biking rental is recommended for vising the city.
No private parking is available by the accommodation.
