The room was very comfortable. The surroundings are very beautiful and restful. The deck by the river is a wonderful place to cool off.
The shower head needs to be fixed to stop a water leak.

The views were great, especially during the walk to the river. Having a variety of things/programmes to watch in TV, having the power even after Loadshedding hit. Also just having more than one option of keeping the room/bed warm.
And privacy was respected.
During the walkabout to the river, there seemed to be quite a few dog faeces on the walk paths.

Location pretty awesome! We went for a nice walk to the river.

Diane and the three dogs added so much to the already stunning place. We loved every moment of our stay. Thank you Di!
Absolutely nothing.

Very quiet and pretty location. Charming host, and we loved the dogs :-). Suite was supplied with a few essentials (tea, milk, ...) which was nice. Load-shedding didn't affect essentials,
Mattress was a little hard for me, and my wife would have liked a shower cap. No big deal.

Such a beautiful little cabin in the woods, with a small fireplace inside & fire pit outside. You are surrounded by nature, lots of squirrels & horses in the paddocks around the cabin & beautiful scenery everywhere you look. The added bonuses were a really nice shower and the view from the bed.
Nothing.

Really comfortable accommodation, Di is a great host. The property had solar/battery backup so we did not notice Load shedding a great bonus for us. Very comfortable extra large bed and outside seating area

The property is very peaceful and Diana is a wonderful host. We had a great sleep in the comfortable bed and woke up with the chirping of the birds. Oh and a big plus for us: her three cute dogs!

The location was good
We tried arranging checking in at 19h30 because there was no bath in the unit and I had to take bath to relax before my wedding day. The owner was extremely rude to my husband, who was only trying to make my day special. The owner told us that we can’t check in because of loadshedding and that it is dangerous to let strangers on the farm after dark. Even though the sun only sets after 20h00. She gladly took our money without hesitation but wouldn't let us check in. We had to arrange and pay for another accommodation, who were glad to help us in need. This probably one of the rudest owners we have ever come across. The unit is very basic with flies everywhere. The following day we managed to check in "the day of the wedding" While I was busy getting ready for my wedding, the owner knowingly started cutting grass right outside our window. If spiteful was a person, this owner will take gold.
Trying to let my bridesmaids and photographer in led to even more drama with the owner. . I mean I'm sitting in a cown busy doing my makeup. Lastly when we finished with our wedding and wanted some much needed sleep. The flies descended on us.
When we woke up 5 am from all the flies sitting on our faces and the ceiling fan not working. We packed our bags and left this place.
It is sad to think, 12 years of loadshedding this "premium" guest house only solution was a small battery light. The owner nearly spoiled my big day with her rudeness but the flies were the worst. Disgusting.

An incredible beautiful and tranquil oasis near Stellenbosch and vineyards. This was our second time visiting Di's small farm and we again loved it. Cute and clean little cottage surrounded by a beautiful garden, horses and her lovely dog and cat. If you are looking for a comfy bed in a quite spot surrounded by nature, we highly recommend it!

environment is just stunning. this is the perfect spot if you want to enjoy the outdoor. lot of vegetation, beautiful garden, nice terrace and a fire pit at your disposal is what you need to really enjoy your time outside.

Di is a wonderful hostess and gave us a warm welcome to Languedoc. The Garden room with a private patio looking out on the beautiful lush garden made our spring time visit even more lovely.
Languedoc is quickly accessible to central Stellenbosch and wine farms in the surrounding area. A great weekend getaway or longer stays since the units are self catering with a fully equipped kitchen and a braai place.

Cottage clean and feels like home. Everything you need and more.Beautiful views of the mountain and garden. Horse paddock view from Paddock suite was lovely. Peaceful and best rest. Special suprise was a waterfall on a small trail at the back of the paddock suite. Di were very friendly and welcoming. I Would defnintely recommend to stay at this tranquil farm.
Everything was perfect
