Quiet location and modern hotel feel

The hotel itself is nicely designed, view of the mountain from the room and hotel terrace, friendly staff and comfortable room. There is a taster menu but also a la carte menu is possible. The food was very nice too. There is also an option to book river rafting, zip lining activities from the hotel. Hotel has generous parking space. The hotel is on a busy road but if you book a room with a Mountain View you do not hear the traffic.

The bathroom does smell of bleach, perhaps other cleaning materials could be used that are less toxic, It would be useful to actually read a food menu rather than be explained what is on offer.

Nádherný hotel přímo u řeky Soča!

Nádherný moderní hotel přímo u řeky Soča. Nachází se na strategickém místě u turistické cesty. Nedaleko od města Bovec. V blízkosti krásný vodopád Boka. Snídaně byla luxusní! Možnost udělat si kafe na recepci během celého dne. Určitě se vrátíme! :)

pleasant, nicely located, a bit pricey

Staff was very accommodating and provided good options for what to do in the pouring rain. Breakfasts were fine and the wine served was very nice.

We had dinner there the first night. They were short-staffed, but our dinner was 2 hours with a very long wait for the main course.

Really enjoyed our stay made all the better by the owners who helped us plan our days.

A lovely hotel with a 'ski-chalet' atmosphere. Location was great for sight seeing and the rooms were large. The owners were so helpful in suggestions and advice. Retaurant was good and wine list excellent.

Fairly good value.

Modern and attractive room. Nice restaurant for dinner right down stairs. Good breakfast. Short walk to a beautiful, rocky beach in one direction and then to Boka Falls in the other.

Room was a "forest view" which meant right on the road. Quite noisy with cars going by. Pack ear plugs!

Friendly and supportive stuff! They offered a very nice breakfast (dinner was okay but not as good in our opinion).

Overall a little too pricy - given the fact that the rooms are not very modern (despite the whirlpool in the room) and some windows are facing a loud street.

Amazing location and view. Room/bathroom little outdated.

The location and view from the room were amazing! It is very close to the Boka fall, which is the biggest waterfall from Slovenië. The hotel is also close to the Bovec village. You can park there for free, there is lots of parking space. The breakfast was very good as well. The staff is very friendly and gives very nice recommendations. You can also book some activities at the hotel reception (such as rafting, kayaking, canyoning, zip line, renting bikes).

The interieur is a little outdated. The bathroom is old with a shower cabin. The room/bathroom and hotel in general could use a renovation/redecoration. The restaurant for diner is ok. It was a good stay but we found it a little overpriced.

Beds where a little hard and bathroom a little outdated. If you do not have A car, it is better to stay in the center of Bovec.

The mountain bikes are new and in very good quality, rooms are spacious, breakfast has everything you need, staff is nice

Our room was just next to the road so it was very noisy with cars and motorcycles; our room had carpet which I find not hygienic at all; in general, the hotel common spaces needs some TLC

Big family rooms and peaceful stay near the Soča river and the Boka waterfall.

Smooth check-in with a bank in front of the reception, calm veranda with a mountain view (for coffee, reading or just doing nothing), very good breakfast, really BIG family room (fits also for 4 adults). Vicinity of the Soča river and the Boka waterfall.

I wish I stayed more nights!

Great setting, in between a waterfall and the river. Very nice staff, fabulous breakfast (the apple pie is to die for!!) and VERY comfortable rooms and mattresses.

the only thing that i’d mention is bathrooms could be renovated as they are not up to the standards of the rest of the hotel

It is a very airy, comfortable and spacious hotel extremely well located for the Soca valley. Breakfasts were exceptional.

There was nothing to dislike but the evening menu was a touch limited and described on a tiny menu printed on slips of paper attached to a clip board. Frankly it was difficult to read for an older person with poor sight. This may have been a gesture towards ecology but it was not really fit for purpose.

Superb hosts, fabulous food

Easy to find as right on roadside. Plenty of free parking. Easy check in. Room very clean and a good size. The restaurant was closed but the proprietor did say he could do soup and a sandwich for us. That suited us just fine and turned out to be an absolutely fabulous meal. Tasty homemade soup, beautifully presented followed by the most flavoursome sandwiches that were again, presented superbly. All washed down with locally produced pure apple juice. Interesting chatting with our host who explained they only serve produce from Slovenia and source as much as possible from local producers as well as making and growing as much as they can themselves. The homemade produce was very much in evidence at breakfast time with homemade jams, pancakes and cookies. The breakfast range was varied and included an option for fresh cooked eggs of your choice. An overall enjoyable stay with fabulous hosts who go the extra mile

Location is by the river in a scenic area but away from the town and choice of restaurants and cafés.

Breakfast was not very good. Lacked good fruits and nutritious serial etc.

A quiet, scenic, comfortable place to stay!

The location is outside Bovec, but at the confluence of the Boka and Soca Rivers. And Slap Boka can reached right from the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dinner was exceptional! We had to leave very early the next morning and they provided us with a bag of croissants and other breakfast items.

nice hotel but restaurant not to our standard

the location was excellent. the beds were comfortable. the staff were all really attentive. huge selection for breakfast.

the restaurant. we ate in there the first evening and both our meals were cold. I had the green soup which wasn’t available so they offered me carrot soup but it was very watered down and not heated through. my husband had ravioli and again it wasn’t very hot. the second evening we were told the restaurant was not available but had already decided to eat out. a shame as after reading reviews we were really looki g forward to the food. the hotel was also a little worn out and could do with a renovation.

Friendly staff - uncomfortable and noisy rooms

The owners of the hotel were very friendly and helpful, It was the best part of our stay at Hotel Boka. The breakfast was also nicely made. The room was also very clean.

I wish I would have read the reviews a bit better as we stayed in a room facing the street and heard cars passing on the road all night long. It was not pleasant. The bed was very uncomfortable. Showers were old and very small. Overall I think the price is too high for the lack of comfort and noise in the rooms, especially since I was there in the low season.
