I have previously stayed here and had an ok experience this time was horrendous staff was rude both checking in and checking out. The hotel room was filthy nkt enough toilet roll supplied.
Only enough cups ect for 1. Made to pay 100 at check in for a deposit to stay in a filthy room.
Staff were rude both checking in and out.

Location.
No towels in the room, bedside light defective, fan plug broken(would fail basic PAT test) trim under the shower tray broken off and lying on the floor, soap dispenser broken. Lift out of order to a third floor room. Mattress so old and tired you were basically sleeping on the bed base..

Receptionist was welcoming, very comfortable bed, quiet room which was appreciated, nice view of Wakefield
People seemed to be hanging around near reception talking and swearing, it was a bit off putting having to walk through them all
2.8
Everything was clean and comfortable
The lift wasn’t working, So trekking up and down stairs with my bags was an unexpected downer, especially as my room was on the 3rd floor.
Would be great if you could fix the lift.
