Comfortable facility benefiting from a great location in one of the most beautiful village of Val d’Orcia

Located in the heart of the village, while preserved from street animation.

Owner’s welcome and guidance along the stay could be improved. We had a first contact which was formal and essential. No other contact during our stay. We were not expecting to be entertained every day, however would have appreciated simple chat sometime as well as a conclusive meeting in person instead of receiving a WhatsApp. Secondly, would have appreciated being informed of an all night long party happening just under our windows instead of having to experience it.

Central and quiet, in a tasetful and comfortable setting.

Very central, in the heart of a pleasant little Tuscan town. Close to restaurants and local shops. Many Tuscan sights close by, such as Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Bagno Vignoni, Siena. Direct access to surrounding countryside. Free parking close by.

Exceptional

We were in Tuscany for one month and of this, our 8 night stay at Casa Fortuna was our favorite! Loved the chic but comfortable design within a historic building. Just the right amount of the original features were left (like the exposed wooden beams) Very well planned. Fireplace was such a bonus! Great views and natural light in bathroom and bedroom. Ulli, our host, provided a helpful guide of area villages and places to explore. She was happy to suggest and arrange a private wine tour (which was amazing!). Parking was not on-site, as is the case in most of the villages, but there was a free-of-cost lot just a few minutes walk from the apartment. Can’t wait to return!!

For our longer stay, it would have been convenient to have a washer/dryer. We used the laundromat located just outside the main square.
