The location was fantastic, everything was in a short walking distance.
The apartment has all the cutlery, cook utensils and dishes we needed.
Using the Alexa within the apartment is a great idea for checking in/out. Or even connecting our phones.
Getting into the property was easy as the instructions were clear.
Private parking was a huge bonus meaning no worries for carpark fees.
The bed wasn't bad but the pillows were just uncomfortable. I would bring my own ones if I was to stay again.
The step into the shower is quite high it would be nice to have a handle as slipping out the shower could cause an injury.
The bathroom wasn't cleaned fully, which was the only room that had this issue.

location was good
next to Tesco express so woken by their delivery at 7:00 each morning

location and layout. excellent utensils for cooking!
bathroom sink was blocked and was very slow at draining

The apartment is in a prime location right in the centre of Ambleside. Easy access to get in to, I really like the key code to get in the front door, much easier than having a key. Check in was easy. The apartment itself is really high quality with excellent fixtures and fittings. The bath in the bedroom is amazing. Comfy beds, good wifi and overall a nice place to stay.
Not a negative, as you should expect noise if you choose a place in the middle of a bustling town, but just a tip. If you are a light sleeper or want a lie in make sure you take ear plugs. Even better if they were provided by the hosts.

excellent location, very clean
not a massive issue but no tv channels in living room

Everything- location great, exceptionally well appointed and very helpful hosts.

Central location; Parking space; Price: TV Netflix; WiFi good; Tea & Coffee supplied.
No heating on arrival (in Winter); Windows left open without being made aware (Big sash windows behind blinds); Noise from early deliveries and Pub; Unable to control heating personally; Poorly equipped Kitchen items (No large or pint glasses, No microwave safe crockery), Shower door poorly fitting; Poor lighting in Lounge area; No outside lights in the car park for late arival or evening return; Kitchen cupboard with small coffee cups could have been better utilized with decent sized mugs and glasses. Tea & Coffee supplied but no dairy milk in fridge (not everyone likes oat milk)!

The building and property where good. Very well equipped.
Poor lighting in apartment
Very noisy at night from pub across the road.
Woken up very early by delivery wagon and shouting from delivery people.

Positives:
1. Excellent location, property right in middle of high street and all local amenities accessible on foot.
2. Property had all you would need: kitchen utensils, cookware etc well stocked, 2 large bedrooms (bath in 1 possibly an extravagance and not used as so high off floor and such a narrow step to get out on), spacious living/dining/kitchen area meant we didn't feel on top of each other.
3. Private parking really appreciated (despite initial issues).
4. Stunning walks easily accessible from property.
5. Huge variety of eateries and pubs within walking distance, Tesco & Co Op nearby for any essentials.
Negatives:
1. communication prior to our stay was non-existent and caused much stress to the point I had to contact Booking.com for their advice. Our stay was in September, I had asked a question of the host at the beginning of July and a couple of further questions just weeks before our stay - via Booking.com, via email and even via text to the mobile number provided on the website. I was totally ignored.
This caused much stress and anxiety.
A generic email was then received 3 days before our stay with various information and instructions.
The total lack of response made us feel quite unwelcome and extremley stressed prior to arriving - a simple response advising all info would be sent 3 days beforehand would have greatly put us at ease.
2. The communication theme continued to be an issue upon our arrival. A parking issue arose and the response I received from the hosts was curt and almost accusatory. Only upon sending them photos of the issue did they acknowledge the problem we encountered. Again this made us feel unwelcome - they had ignored all my communication yet were extremely quick to contact me about the parking issue and then almost not belive our situation until photos were provided.
3. The smoke alarm above the front door was not fixed to the ceiling but hanging down with wires exposed (attached pic)
4. One of the bedroom doors had one hinge only partly screwed into the door - 1 screw had come out, 3 others were only halfway screwed in - this meant the door slammed shut with an incredible banging sound (attached pic)
5. The property is on the High Street, this is clear in the advertising. What is not mentioned are the daily deliveries made to Tesco just a few doors down - the first day it started at 6am, subsequent days it was 7am.

convenient for everything, plenty of space
although it was in a prime location it was rather noisy especially early morning with deliveries to the Tesco store a couple of doors away, if ur an early bird that shouldn’t be a problem 😊
4.1
Nice apartment, well equipped in a central location close to all amenities - with 2 bedrooms for 4 adults
Only one toilet/bathroom to share amongst 4 adults (children not allowed) - TV in lounge losing signal constantly (suspect faulty aerial cable)
Apartment very warm (only low 20's temp outside) and only one very poor fan provided - otherwise you have to had the windows open all night and the noise from the street is considerable
4.1
great location, clean, very nicely decorated, comfortable beds
some minor malfunctioning features - blinds, bedroom door, rear entrance hall to building needs more lights

Early morning Tesco delivery was very noisy. Lounge lighting very poor. Some technology baffling.(especially as all switched off on arrival)

This apartment was a pleasant surprise and was not what we expected. It was very modern, with impeccable detail to all amenities. Check-in/out was with a tablet provided in the room.
The location was ideal, and we appreciated a designated parking spot for our car.
At first we were caught off-guard with the back alley entry. Once getting the keys, and in the apartment, ALL WAS WELL.
Pub-goers on the streets below could be a little noisy, but not enough to disturb our sleep.

Location was spot on, apartment was a good size, had all you needed
Can’t think of any

Beautiful appointed. Everything we needed. Excellent quality details like high spec crockery. Beautifully comfortable beds, furniture, bedding etc. Fantastic location for convenience in centre of Ambleside, which of course is very central for the Lakes. And it has private parking- worth its weight in gold to have a designated parking spot in the centre of town. Exactly what we wanted for a few days walking and wild swimming.
The road can be a bit noisy in the morning, but that's what we expected for the convenience of such a central location.

Location
Being woken every morning at 7am by Tesco delivery

The location was excellent. The standard of the rooms were all great.
The apartment overlooked a hotel with an outdoor beer garden. This was very busy which is understandable.
However the noise carried on until 2am one morning but after 12 every other night.
Delivery vans were expected due to previous reviews, however this lasted for over an hour every morning.
Therefore we did not have a full night's sleep at all!

The apartment is furnished to a very high standard and all the kitchen appliances are also of high quality. The bed was so comfortable and the sheets, duvet lovely soft cotton. The bathroom was excellent with a brilliant shower whilst a free standing bath was in one of the bedrooms. Both bedrooms as well as living room had televisions. Free wifi was also available. The parking space at the back of tbe property was really useful. Central location with easy access for touring. Hosts updated us of any checkin/checkout info on a tablet in tbe apartment. Cleanliness was to a very high standard and covid measures were followed. All in all excellent.
The only thing l disliked was the Tesco lorry unloading underneath our bedroom window every morning at 7am.

Very clean, lovely location and just a wonderful place to stay! The bath in the bedroom was just wow!
Nothing!!

It was fine, no real complaints.

The location was perfect for us. Right in the centre of town. Everything was very stylish, comfortable beds, everything we needed. We would book again.
4.1
Convenience of Ambleside with lots to see in walking distance and great bars and restaurants close by, particulay the Tapas bar down the side street nextdoor, excellent food and value. Well equipped flat, modern , clean and tidy.
Too noisy for us near the road, main issue was the Tesco delivery drivers early morning, very loud. Not suitable for 4 adults, only one loo/bathroom and an extra bath in the bedroom, also not suitable for those with mobility problems as 3 flights of stairs from the back of the property. Tight carpark area, would be a squeeze for larger vehicles, as is the shower cubicle 🙂
