Gianni and family were the perfect hosts. This was one of the most beautiful and relaxing rentals we have had in Italy. Casa Campo di Fiori is a beautiful 18th century villa with a very creative and interesting interior full of sculptures and paintings by the hosts. The kitchen was very well stocked and we cooked here a lot. The house stays cool in the heat and the pool is a welcome respite in the garden. There are lots of shady places in the garden to relax with amazing trees and bird life. We also used the outdoor kitchen with Gianni's help, and cooked some of his produce from the vegetable garden. The real star of the show is Gianni - he is very good company, we will miss him!
nothing. thank you for making us so welcome.

no AC. most the year that wouldn’t be a problem but we were there during a very hot spell.

If you are not looking for an artificial 5-star hotel, but for real Tuscan atmosphere and spirit with great hospitality, this is definitely the place for you.

We had a fabulous week at Villa Campo Di Fiore and have no hesitation in giving it 5 stars! The house was stunning, even more beautiful than the photographs, and the gardens were also wonderful. The art and artefacts and archeological items in the house and garden were endlessly fascinating. Gianni and Alessandra were warm, friendly hosts. Really lovely people. They also have 2 friendly cats who stroll around the gardens! The location was wonderfully peaceful and a short drive away from supermarkets and within easy reach of several beautiful medieval hill towns. On Gianni's recommendation we visited Anghiari which does not feature heavily in the usual guidebooks and it was stunning. We also visited Cortona, Castiglione di Fiorentina, Arezzo and Siena, and enjoyed driving through the rolling hills. There are several great restaurants nearby. We also enjoyed the pool as it was great to cool off after a hot morning sightseeing! Thanks to Gianni and Alessandra for a memorable, magical holiday.
