Anne Marie (the property's Manager, I believe) welcomed us warmly and arranged for an early check in which was greatly appreciated. Our room was spacious and all meals and drinks were incredible. A wonderful stay to end our trip to Tanzania!
The beach immediately outside of the resort was rocky/corally, but we walked 10-15 minutes to the right and found a lovely spot where you could walk out to a sandbar. If you had reef type shoes (which we saw others had), you could've dipped in right at the resort.

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed at. Amazing sea front location. Staff were super friendly - big shout out to Adelina! Good value massages, wonderful pool.
Since it’s a bit out of town, you kind of have to have dinner there in the evening. While lunches were great, dinners were a bit mixed and the menu got repetitive.
4.3
The place is nice and quiet, with great amenities. It is a beachfront property so you will get direct access to the beach. Most of the huts are facing towards the beach with an outdoor seating area as well.
The location is quite far from other restaurants, so if you want to eat outside the hotel, be prepared to walk or, if you want to go to the main area (near stone town, you would need to prepare a call for taxi service.

Very good service, kindly staffs, food is nice, wifi is good, room is clean and nice, beautiful sea view and excellent beach. we love there.
location is little far from the main road, road is bad.

Nice pool and rooms.
We didn´t notice that there was written on booking that 30 dollars per night are not included. That´s a lot! Never seen that in my life! Normally I pay 30 dollars for a room and not for taxes! Unfortunately, we couldn´t cancel the stay. So it was a scam! The staff is not very friendly and hardworking, they left empty glass bottles around the pool area and just pretended that they were doing something... The receptionist was not nice. The road to the hotel is terrible! There are only 5 stars hotels on that road but it´s almost impossible to arrive there. The breakfast is just ok, staff also unfriendly. Wifi in the room not working, just at the pool.

As soon as we arrived, we were met with smiles, positive energy and a willingness to help from the staff, especially Baraka and Enock, who both went very far to ensure that we were given exactly what we needed at all times. Baraka was very attentive to our specific needs and very kind and effective. He displayed a high level of service and made us feel special and at home. During breakfast, lunch and dinner, we had the pleasure of experiencing excellent service from Yassir, who always met us with a smile and a genuine interest in attending to us. Not to forget Michael, who was constantly making sure that we had everything we needed at the pool.
That it ended :)

The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with a crepes and omelet station. Cocktails were delicious, which can’t be taken for granted in a place where many staff are Muslim and don’t drink. The pool is nice and the grounds well maintained. Our room was beautiful with good AC and high quality sheets. The location is quiet, far from the popular beaches and nightlife (good for a romantic get away but too quiet for us).
If you are looking for the famed white sand beaches of Zanzibar, this hotel is not for you. You should stay closer to Kendwa or Nungwi beaches on the west side of the island. The beach here has many rocks and sea urchins, is very shallow, and had a lot of seaweed when we came in late March. The nearest beach you can swim in is a cab ride away.

Nice room with view of ocean, enjoyed infinity pool overlooking the ocean, staff was very friendly and helpful, nice quiet location
Long wait for dinner and received wrong meal

view was incredible
nothing to mention

The staff were exceptional. All extremely friendly, helpful attentive. Little things like taking the time to remember your name and what you like make the experience so much more than a beautiful view.

lots of space. very private and in general very confortable. staff was the nicest.

The staff was simply amazing, Adelina, Marry, Mohammed, Annie and all the others that I unfortunately don't know the names of. Ali, the driver provided excellent service.
The breakfast was really good and the dinners tasty.
And the pool was large enough.

Poolside is like a private. and room is superb. Staff too.
Silent friendly place, with normal prices.
The lobster is a miracle.
Windy weather sometimes

Amazing room with extremely high ceilings and beautiful details and decoration, super helpful and nice stuff, clean, wild beach experience, great massage service and delicious food in the restaurant. Taxi service. Good vibes. Small boutique-like hotel.
There was nothing I didn't like. Everything was perfect.
4.3
Very nice place, good view, good for family and kids. Great people and good food. They supported a lot with the baby's food. We will definitely go back again.
There were not that many options for breakfast each day. Most of the days it was the same menu.

We had a fantastic stay at Warere Hotel. The area is quiet, private and feels very secure. There is security at the entrance making note of all drivers moving in and out of the property. Overall, it feels very private and peaceful but is not too far away from the hubbub of Nungwi which is only a 10 minute taxi journey away.
The beach in front of the hotel is beautiful when the tide is high. There are many sea urchins and coral therefore reef shoes are recommended.
The facilities at the property really give the place a holiday feeling. The pool is large and overlooks the jetty/beach. It is large enough to swim the length but also relax in. There were many sunbeds surround the pool and it pretty much looks like the photos I saw online before booking. There is a bar by the hotel where you can order food and drink to be brought to your sunbed. Very relaxing area.
The food at Warere is also delicious! We ate most of our meals here. The meals are not too expensive (between $10-25 depending on what you order).
The room was lovely. We had expected an ocean front room due to the photos shown on booking.com during our booking but didn't realise we had in fact booked a sea view room. We wanted to upgrade to the ocean front once we had got there but unfortunately they were fully booked. Elizma the manager kindly arranged a romantic meal on the jetty for us as a gesture of goodwill. This was very much appreciated and my husband and I really enjoyed it. It was quite windy on the jetty that day but it made the experience all the more memorable and we really appreciated Elizma's effort to ensure we had a lovely stay.
The hotel also offers excursions and taxi. We didn't book any of the excursions but did occasionally use the taxi service to get to Nungwi. The system felt very safe as the taxi payment is added to your room bill and the driver does a round trip.
Loved everything! The only thing I would say to improve (being very picky here) is maybe to add some relaxing music by the pool during the day time.

the place is amazing and I think it’s probably better if you are more than one person because it’s a very quiet beach which I loved! it’s situated right on the beach and the staff are very helpful and friendly. only thing is I had to change rooms because the room I booked was not available for 2 nights which was not a big problem tbh and they solved it quick. breakfast was really good! they had variety of options and the Wi-Fi was fast
