La ubicación excelente cerca de la playa de supermercado y restaurante

Un coin de paradis reposant dans ce magnifique cadre et près de la plage.
Rien a dire

A slice of heaven in paradise. All staff were amazing, friendly and behind the scenes. We would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat. Much love to all staff and the surrounding neighborhood. Pura vida ❤️
A/C should have been more powerful to combat the heat. We found that we couldn't cook because it was just too hot.

Amazing location, only a few hundred metres from the beach.
Wifi didn't work in our room.

Pool was great and pool / maintenance man was great with accommodating the kids early morning swim!
Kitchenette was well equipped but crockery and cutlery needed washing before we used it!
Smoking bare electrics in the shower.
Cockroaches in the room.
Bed mattresses exceptionally hard!

The garden and pool were beautiful and nicely maintained. The distance to one entrance of the national park beach is close and easily walkable with kids. The house was spacious with great kitchen and bathrooms.
Floor and restrooms were well cleaned on arrival or after request.
The bedrooms were so dusty that breathing was hard if the ac or fan was turned on. Which of the AC in one room was broken, and the fan in the other.
There are mice or rats living in the roof that fight other animals during the night. When they move, it rains dust and what it seems excrements from the ceiling. The amount of dirt that needs to be brushed of fresh bedsheets after a day with no person entering the room is scary, because you know at night it is more raining directly on to you.
We needed to sleep besides our kids to at least get some sleep, but the nights were horrible.
After all, I cannot recall why we just did not leave after the right after the first night. We were definitely happy to leave early. The accommodation is also overpriced, for that price/night we had clean 4-person beachfront hotel rooms with breakfast in e.g. Jaco.

It was close to Manuel Antonio National Park. There are several good restaurants near by.
It said it was beach front. It wasn't.

Costa Rican hospitality at its best

Bird watching!

The pool was beautiful and very close to wales tale, quiet off the mainstrip.

The grounds are picturesque - a little
oasis to rest during the festival. The pools and drinking water were a welcome bonus. The staff were so kind and generous - they made us feel so welcomed and were always sharing with us which was lovely.
It’s a bit far away from things and the local beach is a National park with a $6 entrance fee, but the pools were more than enough for us to refresh.

We got robbed, because they don't have real walls. They also don't have a guard or any security. I reached out to Booking support chat to deal with this but no agent ever came to the chat.

nothing
we booked this an hour before arrival hoping it was beachfront like it was advertised. not only was it not accurate in reviews, advertisement or location but it was unacceptable and filthy. so bad we chose not to stay and found a room elsewhere. I believe I was charged and intend to seek further reimbursements. I tried to communicate this to the people showing me the place but it wasn’t working so we left.

close to beach air conditioning
was put right where construction was going on woke us up two mornings clearly other cabins were available

Great location, close to the beach.
The room was just adequate, and the grounds were messy with lots of stuff/garbage lying around.

The best part of our stay were the trees, the pool, location to the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was not clean. The WiFi was marginal.

Fab location, 200m walk from the national park. Gorgeous sunset on the beach. Air-conditioning was a bonus. Eating our breakfast on the balcony. Kitchen facilities adequate.
Very hard mattresses and lumpy pillows. A cockroach in the kitchen. No running water, fortunately on the day we left - however we had booked this place because our previous reservation in Uvita (Private loft del Rio) had kindly warned us his road's water supply was being cut off so had allowed us to cancel for free.

Great location 150 yds to beach
Know one spoke any English.
Rooms are more like rustic shacks but fairly clean.
No water the last day
Wi-Fi hardly works in back cabins. Have to go to pool to use it.

Run down. Needs love.

Located next to the beach, quite spacious, pool on the territory.
Wifi didn’t work in the room.

the staff were fantastic, and the location was great
the water in the shower was cold. The decor etc was very dated and old.
3.5
Very close to the beach
The mattress were old and soft, the pool was dirty. The facilities require some maintenance.

The grounds are very nice with a big pool and we enjoyed the gardens. The bed was super comfortable. We spent time at near by Marino Balena and the hotel was very close to the ocean. I will not hesitate to stay here again. The hotel has the charm of an older cottage, but was super clean and comfortable. The value for what we paid was excellent. We enjoyed a very quiet stay here.
Also, we are a lesbian couple and we were treated so kindly and respectfully by the staff. What a refreshing change. We both appreciated the staff's friendliness.
Thank you so very much.
Nothing not to like. We did ask for a blanket, and they didn't have any as this hotel is right along the beach in southern Costa Rica. Night temperatures were really warm. Typically no blanket would be needed, but my partner runs cool at night and needs a blanket. This was NOT a hardship, by any means, but just a unusual request in the tropics.

Villas Maria Luisa in Uvita is paradise! I loved watching and listening to all of the wildlife from my deck. I could hear howler monkeys, countless birds, frogs....The price was very affordable! There is a pool and the beach is a hop, skip & a jump away. It was so beautiful to stay at a place right in the jungle! I loved watching the birds from my deck.

The staff is most welcoming.
Awesome pool and 2 min from the beach (must pas as it’s a national park)
honestly it was great, maybe the AC could have been a bit more powerful

Chito is a very nice person, and also the staff. Thanks for your welcome. Perfect location. Very nice swimming pool. All equipment in the room. Thank you
The aircon a bit noisy, but not new generation so that's normal
5.0
Very spacious room with kitchen and fridge, excellent reception by the staff (we even got a free cocktail upon arrival from the owner). The pool is hard to beat, appears set in the middle of the jungle. Due to Covid, each person/couple/family could book the pool for an hour and basically have it all to themselves. The setting of the place is hard to beat.
Wifi around the pool and reception area was very good, but the signal hardly reached the room we were in. The location itself is close to the beach, but a little far from the main town.
