We recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning house in rural Spain.
The area feels very safe and the house has secure boundaries and a gate.
It is easy to get to nearby Ronda which we did for supermarket trips and to visit nearby tourist attractions.
We spent most of our time at the house relaxing by the delightful and clean, green tiled pool which fits in stunningly with the beautiful surroundings, especially the old olive trees. The garden is very thoughtfully planned out, is well maintained and private for relaxing by the pool.
The views from the roof terrace are fabulous with mountains in the distance in most directions. We were lucky enough to experience a fantastic sunset while we were there.
The house itself is nicely decorated with a homely feel. There is a good range of bedroom sleeping arrangements and two bathrooms work well. The kitchen is well equipped and we only ate at a restaurant once during our stay for a special occasion. The rest of the time we cooked for ourselves and found everything that we needed.
We felt very much at home.
This house and garden is perfect for a relaxing getaway.

The property was as described and had everything we needed for our stay! There were six of us (me, my husband, our two college aged kids, my mom and her friend). We had an issue with the shower and they had it fixed immediately! It was a perfect layout for our group with two bedroooms in each wing and two bathrooms. It was very authentic and a great space in rural Spain!

A beautiful house in stunning gardens with a pool and covered area for outdoor dining. Very well equipped for 7 adults and Carmen was very communicative and accomodating. A car is necessary for this property. Would definitely recommend!

Our family (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed at Finca El Carmen for 2 weeks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Carmen, our host, is very easy to communicate with. She answers messages promptly before and during stay. The villa is as beautiful as advertised. Very well equipped and safe. The pool is delightful and the shaded area under the pergola is the perfect spot for a meal or a read. The location is perfect for visiting various places in Andalucia, mostly the pueblos blancos. Although only 10 min drive to Ronda, the location is rural with a few neighbours around. You do need a car but there seem to be a few hiking paths towards the sierra leaving not far from the house.

This house lived up to all expectations.
The house was well furnished and all equipment needed. Outside space was wonderful and roof terrace had views to behold especially at night for star gazing!
The written guide about property and surrounding areas was comprehensive and really helpful.
Carmen and her sister greeted us on arrival and were really kind and helpful.
We stayed with 4 year old and two 2 year olds and they loved the outside space...but just needed to be watched around the pool!
Ronda was just 10 mins away.
All in all lived up to expectations!

We loved every second of our stay at Finca el Carmen. The house was even better than it presented on VRBO, and our expectations were high going in.
The home is spacious and perfect for a group. Ronda is an exciting, frenetic place, and this place is a perfect escape after a busy and fun day. The pool amid the olive grove will lower anyone's blood pressure.
Carmen is unfailingly responsive, and details like plates, glasses and utensils are well met.
We can't recommend it enoug.h.

Excellent location
This is a beautiful finca. The location is great for motorbikes as the access is flat. The accommodation is secure with automatic gates. The property is quiet serene and very beautifully decorated in the Spanish style. The pool is lovely and the outside is excellent for eating and relaxing. Thanks to Carmen and her sister for making us so welcome. Thanks again

Erholsame Tage
Unsere Familie hat wundervolle Tage in der Wohnung verbracht. Das Objekt ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hochwertig ausgestattet. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Matratzen sind bequem; das Doppelbett für Erwachsene und ältere Kinder ein wenig schmal. Bei Mahlzeiten auf der Terrasse wurden wir von Wespen heimgesucht. Allein das ist der ländlichen Umgebung geschuldet und hat unsere Urlaubsstimmung nicht geschmälert. Auch an den Umstand, dass man Toilettenpapier in einen Hygienebehälter schmeißen muss, gewohnten wir uns schnell. Dies war auch in der nächsten Ferienwohnung bei Malaga der Fall. Die Tipps der sehr freundlichen Hausbesitzerin sowie ihrer ebenfalls äußerst netten englischsprachigen Schwester waren Gold wert. Ihre Restaurantempfehlungen sollte man beherzigen. Wir empfehlen das Objekt auf jeden Fall weiter.

Hemos pasado un fin de semana en familia inmejorable. La casa de Carmen es muy acojedora, amplia y con muchos detalles, todo muy limpio y cuidado. La casa tiene todo lo necesario para disfrutar de ella y el jardín precioso con zona de césped, piscina y barbacoa con cenador.
Carmen, su dueña, muy atenta, nos dejó un detalle de bienvenida y nos explicó todo a la llegada, también estuvo disponible para alguna duda que nos surgió durante la estancia. Sin duda repetiremos cuando tengamos ocasión. 100% recomendable para quien quiera pasar unos días a las afueras de Ronda con la tranquilidad del campo pero sin echar de menos ninguna comodidad.

Location parfaite !
Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans la maison de Carmen, parfaitement entretenue et équipée. La piscine a enchanté enfants et adultes. Emplacement isolé et calme, idéal pour se reposer tout en étant à 1h30/2h des principales villes touristiques d’Andalousie. Facile de rayonner à partir de la maison et découvrir la région.

A perfect stay in Ronda
We have enjoyed staying at this house. The house was very well equipped and clean. The view from the garden and roof top terras is wonderful. The house is at the start of the Sierra de las Nieves, which is a wonderful nature park. This means it is a very quiet place to stay and relax. Carmen was very nice to us. The communication upfront our stay went smoothly. Carmen has prepared a book which is left in the house with very useful and detailed information, both practical information as well as suggestion for hiking, biking or to visit. We have never experienced this very good preparation for visitors. I would like to recommend this house for staying for everyone who wants to discover the beautiful sierra's in the environment of Ronda.

Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estancia en Finca el Carmen cerca de Ronda.
La casa es perfecta para dos familias y es espaciosa y bien diseñada. Hay muchas áreas para sentarse para el almuerzo y la cena y la piscina es fantástica. Uno de nuestros aspectos favoritos de este lugar fue el increíble techo / veranda que es perfecto para tomar algo al atardecer.
En cuanto a la ubicación, el lugar está a solo 20 minutos de Ronda y sus tiendas, restaurantes y supermercados, etc. Todo muy fácil.
Lo único negativo fue que algunas noches los perros vecinos eran bastante ruidosos y mantenían despiertos a algunos miembros de nuestro grupo. Hablando con Carmen, la dueña, creo que no creo que esto fuera algo habitual.
Si te quedas aquí, ¡sin duda lo disfrutarás!

We all really enjoyed our stay here and would happily return for another holiday. It is very well situated near to Ronda, yet is surrounded by beautiful views across olive groves to the mountains beyond.

Nous avons vraiment passé un séjour magnifique, la maison de Carmen est tout simplement superbe !! une architecture qui se démarque équipement complet, confort et propreté impecable avec un terrain de grand espace magnifiquement arboré d'olivier et clôturé, idéal pour les enfants, superbe piscine. Hemos pasado 4 días y 3 noches en la casa y hemos estado muy agusto. Cuatro adultos y cuatro niños. Las camas muy cómodas, los sofás, el espacio de la barbacoa, la piscina... todo ha sido de nuestro agrado. Buena señal de televisión, la WiFi...
Está muy bien distribuida, con buenas calidades y con buen gusto.

Casa preciosa, muy bien acondicionada y cerca de Ronda y otros pueblos para visitar
Fuimos un grupo de amigos a pasar el puente de la Constitución-Inmaculada, y todos hemos recibido la misma impresión. La casa está muy bien. Carmen, la propietaria, nos dio las indicaciones precisas para llegar con facilidad. El equipamiento es muy completo, está decorada con muy buen gusto, y está bien acondicionada para el invierno (calefacción en todas las habitaciones y chimenea en el salón). Carmen nos dio también indicaciones de sitios donde comer en Ronda, y de dónde podíamos comprar la carne para la barbacoa.
La verdad es que nos ha gustado tanto que queremos repetir pero cuando llegue el verano, para disfrutar también de la piscina, y de las noches fuera de la casa.

Tranquil setting near Ronda
Carmen's property was ideal for us, since we were looking for a relaxing way to wind down from our 2 week trip to Spain. Just being outside Ronda gave us a peaceful setting but allowed us access to the city center with only a short drive. It was also wonderful to be able to visit some of the marvelous wineries in the region. The house is modern and quite tastefully decorated with plenty of space to spread out when traveling with friends. We didn't have an opportunity to use the pool or the outdoor grill, but it would be on our list of things to do if we were staying longer in the warmer months. Carmen was quick to respond to my email questions (with Google translate) and it was easy to drive to the property using Google map. She even made her sister available to us on check-in to help translate details. Definitely would come back!
