Paolo met us at the door, after we rang the buzzer. We could use the kitchen and clothes washing machine which were nicely explained to us.
The tram was a short walk to go into town, AND the supermarket for food and shopping was also close.
All went fine.

Paolo is the most thoughtful and considerate host I’ve ever met through booking.com. He prepared us breakfast, a beautifully stocked fridge, coffee… everything you could need. The bed is very comfortable and the apartment is located in a very nice and safe neighborhood. There is a Coop supermarket a few minute’s walk away which has a lovely cafe to get your coffee in the morning or aperativo in the evening before heading into the city. Although it’s not in the center of the city, the tram is a 5 minute walk from the apartment and then only 15 mins (and 1.5 euros) to get to the main tourist area. I would highly recommend booking a beautiful, clean, spacious and well-connected apartment slightly away from the center like this than paying triple or quadruple the price for somewhere nowhere near as nice in the center. Grazie Paolo!
The apartment doesn’t have air conditioning which may seem like a big problem in July but we learned if you open the window of the bedroom and place the fan at the window and facing towards you it actually makes the room cooler than air conditioning does!

Host Paulo is very attentive and hospitable. Nice, clean, cozy and quiet place with a common kitchen where you can cook and dine. There is a supermarket and tram stop nearby. For us was a good location, but was a little bit far away from city center.

The host was helpful, friendly and replied messages quickly. Despite that it was hard to communicate fully verbally in English, the communication still went smooth by using a translation app.
The location is very close to a big supermarket and the tram station.
Since the laundry facilities i.e. the laundry machine and the balcony for hanging the clothes are shared with the host, it might not always be available when you need it. Luckily there's a laundromat close to the apartment as well which can be found by searching for "laundromat" on Google Maps.

It was impeccable! Paolo is a great host, he is very friendly, helpful and he speaks Spanish too! It is a very safe neighborhood, quiet and peaceful.
There’s nothing I’d change. It is not located in the city center, but the tram takes you there in 15 minutes for €1.50

The flat was very close to a tram stop so you can get to the centre easily. There is a big supermarket 4 min from the flat.
The flat was really clean, cosy and quiet. It had everything we needed.
Every morning we got a tasty Italian breakfast with coffee or tea. Paolo was a very friendly and helpful host, always ready to answer all our questions.
Thank you Paolo😊

Paolo it's an amazing host. He is super respectful and kind. The house was clean and well
organized. We had a nice breakfast every morning. For us the highlight of our visit in Florence was to learn with the best Cuoco how to do a real Italian carbonara. Thank you so much Paolo for having us we loved our stay.

Lovely, simple Italian breakfast - coffee, tea, toast and marmalade. We weren’t aware breakfast was included so it was a nice surprise. The location was 5 minutes from the nearest tram to Florence city centre, which takes about 10 minutes. Paolo was extremely welcoming and friendly, offering us hot drinks and something sweet when we arrived, thank you.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. We had the whole appartement just for ourselves. The place is well equiped and everything was available for us to use. The owner was very friendly and able to speak several languages. He also occasionaly checked on us if everything was alright and gave us some tips for places to visit in Florences.
There was no air conditioning only fans and during those two days the temperature was extreme. Still, it was absolutely managable.

Paolo was very nice person. Bathroom, bedroom, kitchen were very clean and comfortable. Especially, the kitchen was beautiful and tidy, so we enjoyed a simple meal every night with the italian ingredients. Italian coffee prepared every morning by Paolo.
There is a big supermarket near the apartment.
You can spend comfortably on a small budget.
Hard time with 3 suitcases, appartment is a little bit far away from tram station and 3rd floor without elevetor.
(But Paolo helped us to carry the suitcases)
